Booked online and reservation was ready when we arrived. We were seated in the large room overlooking the Coal River. The view was pretty and the light really was reflecting off the river which made for a delightful setting. Wine list was lacking. There was a bar that seemed to make whatever cocktail you were in the mood for. We both ordered the stuffed chicken. The food was good. Chicken was a little dry, but not bad. The spinach stuffing inside the chicken made up for the dryness....read full review

The food is exceptional, fresh and well presented. The food is upscale, but the prices are very reasonable. The house is an old historical home with beautiful and interesting interior.
