We love Kalu! The dishes are fresh, delicious, and creative. Fresh chips and salsa are fantastic. They offer many options from different cuisines of Latin America. We were looking for something a bit different from the traditional pizza, bison, steaks, and burgers that abound in the Jackson food scene. They serve great margaritas at a reasonable price. The service was attentive and friendly. Kalu did not disappoint.
We came here and had the chicken pozole! It was so delish! We loved the ambiance which was decorated for the holidays and the service was great! The young man keptChecking on us and made us feel so welcome! The chips and salsa were great too! So happy when I try a new place and I leave happy because it's so good!

Kalu is great! (Local!) family owned and operated. Their tacos Al Pastor are the best in town, actually made on a trompo, the vertical rotisserie. I like that they have some other dishes from Latin American countries too, that’s unique. However when I eat here I go for Mexican. Staff are friendly and obviously want to get things right.
