This was surprisingly one of the best restaurants we ate at in Jackson! The food was fantastic and not very expensive. For a museum restaurant it was an unexpected pleasure!

A nice restaurant cafe with an upscale but also easy going vibe. Service is attentive. Food is fresh and tasty with a focus on healthy and local. You don't need a museum ticket to dine here. It's one of the hidden gems in the Teton National Park for best eating spots!

The location is amazing. The museum is something that needs to be seen. Wonderful to have a restaurant on site. The food and service was terrific. Lots of interesting and unique items on the menu. I had the game stew and the French onion grilled cheese sandwich.

Inside the museum, you find this little treasure by the gift shop. We stopped in at lunchtime in the middle of January.I got the grilled cheese with French onions, and my husband got the elk meat wrap. For the appetizer, we got the pot stickers, which were cooked to perfection. All the food was wonderful, the staff very friendly, with a great location north of Jackson across from the elk refuge. Will go back when we visit the area again.

Not only can you enjoy some beautiful art, but you can have a nice lunch with a view. Palate is located inside the National Museum of Wildlife Art. They are open for lunch only with indoor and outdoor seating. Reservations are strongly encouraged as there is usually a long wait time. The décor of this places matches the beauty of the museum around it. This museum faces the Elk Refuge and you get amazing views of it through the windows. Palate has a menu that consists of sandwiches, salads and appetizers. After a whole week of hiking and viewing wildlife in Grand Teton National Park, I was craving a nice healthy sit-down lunch. I started off with a cup of Game Stew. The stew was really good and is made up of Elk, Bison, Lentils and Quinoa. My entrée was the Casper Power Bowl. Not only does it have a lot of healthy ingredients, but it is a very colorful dish. I was impressed with the overall presentation of the food I ordered. They deliver your bill inside a children's book that has cute pictures of animals.

Palate was great! There is a gorgeous view of the mountains from every table and the food was delicious. Service was also wonderful and we will definitely be back!! Definitely a must stop for lunch or after a trip to the museum.

Palate is one of our favorite restaurants for lunch in Jackson. The view and the ambiance are incredible. The service and the food are always good. Two of our favorites are the french onion soup grilled cheese and the Trout Po'boy.

Great lunch. The trout Po-boy was fantastic. Beautiful view of the Elk Refuge. Nicolina was awesome as well.

Lovely atmosphere inside the National Museum of Wildlife. Food was great. Service was attentive & fast. Their sangria was a work in progress, so not my favorite or best I’ve ever had. However, I loved that they wanted feedback through a comment piece of paper. I ordered the game stew & potstickers. Both were equally flavorful in their own way, if I were to choose one over the other it would be the stew. The museum is beautiful. Highly recommend!

Palate is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The location is the best, and every museum needs a restaurant. Especially, for a museum of wildlife art to overlook wildlife! The menu has a great variety of offerings, unlike the typical pasta dishes and foods found in other bistro settings around the area. The elk sausage for the elk ban mi was richly flavored with zingy vegetables. The coconut tomato bisque was smooth with a hint of spicyness. The seasonal caramel apple cider cocktail was a surprising mix of tangy and sweet. Their homemade chips are always delicious - large and salty. My waitress, Sunny, was on top of everything, gave great suggestions and took care of me. I watched her with other customers and she seems to live up to her name.

Palate is a wonderful place to enjoy great food, a beautiful view and amazing service. The tomato bisque soup was some of the best soup I've ever had. Sunny was fantastic and gave us wonderful recommendations. She was friendly, professional and left us with a smile in our faces. Highly recommend this wonderful cafe!

Came to see some wild animal arts, ended up enjoying a really nice lunch at the restaurant. The bison gyro is a must try, and the trout and chips are amazing. Our waiter Rob was very friendly and helpful. This is a great stop before heading to the Jackson Hole airport.
