Burgers are smaller than they used to be 6 oz and cost more but tasty. Noisy if they have a small crowd. Seems that shrinkflation is all around and the customers suffer for that by paying a tip based on higher prices and less food. We eat out less because of this.

We enjoy this restaurant every time we come to Jackson. My husband gets the nachos and I alternate between the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the Philly. Service is always good and fast.

The nachos were delicious. Our waitress was so very nice and attentive. She was so sweet to our grandsons and made sure they enjoyed their meal as well as the adults.

Great server! He was attentive.Food was mediocre at best. The chicken pot pie tasted like it used canned cream of mushroom soup. The chili was good, but came out warm-ish. The spinach artichoke dip was good, just needed to be warmer.

The bison burger was the best burger I’ve ever had! Fresh, local ingredients done right.

Very good food. Delicious onion soup. Children's menu (with coloring pages). Great steaks. Nice service. Parking and affordable prices.Kid-friendliness: Children's menu (approx. $10 per dish), coloring books, crayons, stools for the youngest.

Horrible waitress. “I asked the owner already & no discounts are available” you mean to tell me Miss Rice is working hard on a late Friday night? We Arrived for dinner late Friday night. Excited we spotted carne asada plate on the menu. Sounded really appetizing. However, we kindly asked the waiter if it was possible to have that kind of plate but with chicken instead of the stake it originally came with. She replied “yes no problem”.We were barely greeted by staff, waitress forgets our silverware after bringing our food & barely checks on anything needed. No problem we can deal with the lack of service.Chicken plate: was average.Ordered a cheese burger: dry & overdoneThe bill comes around: Almost $40 for a chicken plate? with no adjustment in price for the “carne asada plate”. We kindly asked the waitress if the price was the same? as we had ordered chicken instead STEAK.My favorite response: in a defensive tone she proceeds to explain that “I already asked the owner (female) & she said no discount is available. If we had coupons I would apply one but we don’t” now we are long time locals and you mean to tell me Joe Rice or his wife owners of several blue collar restaurants happened to be there on a Friday night & our waiter happened to know we were going to inquire about the bill discrepancy? Now, a cherry on top which we did not even bother to ask about: an additional $2 charged for cheese! ? additional cost for cheese!! for a cheese burger we had ordered. If you are unable to adjust the price at least don’t lie & claim “the owner” refused. That behavior really lowers & tarnishes the legacy & reputation the blue collar restaurants have in jackson.

Came here for lunch and ordered chicken tenders. They say on the menu that they are freshly hand-battered for $18. Came with only 4 chicken strips and you could tell that they came from a frozen chicken bag from the store and were not fresh. I have eaten here before and they usually come with 6 pieces of chicken that were hand battered. NOT WORTH THE PRICE! Don't come here and expect fresh food for a good price.
