Our 60th was awesome thanks to a great group of people at the whistling grizzly. Food was amazing. Had elk and bison ribeye tender no need for a knife. Try it it's a MUST ♥️??the Wyoming inn staff were extra special also.

We got the chance finally to get in with some friends for dinner last night and had the special Rib eye and market special king salmon. I have worked in fine dining (several steak houses well as other cuisines) I am a picky customer for sure and this place did not disappoint. Our server (John Paul) was so attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. He didn't miss a beat and was able to answer all our inquiries about the menu items. The timing on our courses was perfect and we were never left with empty glasses to look around for assistance. The steak was executed to perfection and the Salmon had a lovely crispy skin while the body remained moist and tender. The desert (chocolate torte) I have to admit missed the mark and seemed like a glorified brownie, while being topped with a fresh whipped cream and fruits it didn't possess the wow factor that the rest of the meal did, I have also been a professional Baker for years and have to say this portion of the meal could use some work. At $13 it just left us feeling they could've done more there. But otherwise I'd say we left satisfied and will definitely be visiting this restaurant again.

This was our favorite meal we’ve had in Jackson so far! All the dishes we had were delicious and interesting. The servers were all friendly and had great recommendations. They give a heaping order of fries with the burger because they know everyone in the family will want bites - chefs kiss!

We had the 32oz bison tomahawk ribeye. It was fabulous and perfect for 4. Spicy margaritas were great, mushroom ginger soup was to die for. And their carrot cake beyond divine. As always the service was 5 star.

Best steak in Jackson Hole! Don’t be fooled by the hotel restaurant setting, I heard this place has the best steaks in the area, and everyone in our large group agreed (we split the prime rib special). Our server was amazing as well, he’s worked there for years and knows the menu well.

The only criticism I have is that it's too WARM in that room and the tables and table settings could be a little more elegant. It's a little bit dated and could be much more charming. Better lighting and better decor.
4 Star Valley Gals in town for the evening! We All loved EVERYTHING!! Tiger Shrimp, Wedge Salad and Elk tartare for apps...highly recommend all 3! Elk tenderloins, Pumpkin Pasta with Burrata and Seared Scallops for our Mains, all delicious with the Scallops being the Table favorite. Water glasses stayed full throughout the meal and the waitstaff was amazing start to finish. Beautiful wine list as well. Best meal in Jackson in a long time! Well Done. We are already making plans for our next Ladies Night!!

We had such an amazing dinner here in this quiet little hotel restaurant. We shared a burrata salad, which was so flavorful and delicious…wish I’d gotten a picture, the presentation was also nice. I had the pumpkin pasta and my husband had the pork chop. Both were excellent and we enjoyed them so much! Finished with the chocolate torte and it was also great, although we might have missed the carrot cake, which apparently the most popular. Jon Paul was our server and he was amazing… so attentive and thoroughly explained menu items. Loved our dinner here and highly recommend!

I came here with my brother our first night in Jackson and we were really impressed. We had a reservation but it took a few minutes to noticed & get seated as there was a large party of guys waiting on a table, but after we sat down it was an excellent experience. I had the elk tenderloin and he the pork chop, both were amazing. He got the carrot cake for dessert which he loved, I got the flourless chocolate but was not into as much. The whipped cream had an almond extract flavor, which was a little over powering, I probably would just split the carrot cake next time. Wayne was a great server and all in all will be back next time I have guests in town!
Best restaurant in Jackson in my opinion. My wife and I enjoyed dinner so much we went back for breakfast twice and were not disappointed! The prices are reasonable for how incredible the food is. Service is great. Definitely a hidden gem of Jackson. Will be back!

My son and I were on a ski trip to celebrate my 65th birthday. Arrived on time and pleasantly greeted by waiter with suggestions from the menu. The restaurant began to get busy and had to wait for some time for dessert to order and coffee. Coffee came late with an apology. Once bill came and paid we were told that we had to give up our table as the next guests were waiting. Never before had that happen when paying $240 plus for dinner. Spoiled the evening for us unfortunately.
This place was amazing. We ate downtown a few nights around the same price range, and the places were busy and the food mediocre. The Whistling Grizzly, on the other hand, was truly fine dining with just the right amount of low-key ambience to enjoy a delicious meal with friends. We highly recommend.

The restaurant is small and cozy. The food is amazing. We dined there two nights in a row as our first night's dinner was so delicious. The chef must be very well trained as there was a great variety of choices and the sides and seasonings were fabulous.
