While traveling through the area, we ended up getting gas across the street, I noticed this restaurant. I looked up reviews and saw were two 5 stars and one that ended with 'no Stars'. So upon reading the One star review, we decided to eat here! We found the food absolutely delicious. We drove about 40 minutes to eat here based on the recommendation from an acquaintance and are so glad we did. The place is located on a building that was previously a fast food restaurant so the dining room is that kind of atmosphere. The new ownership has done a good job of trying to make it a warmer atmosphere but still has the fast food appearance. The food is what sets this place apart. We stopped here while staying in Newcastle on our way across the country. We weren't expecting to find good food since the town is pretty small but we were pleasantly surprised by this place! The food was very reasonably priced and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the sopes- I had the al pastor one. The tamale and fajita salad were also delicious.
