“Delicious food and good service.“
“I am a vegan on Covid lockdown and was craving some kofta for delivery, but all the local Indian restaurants make it with paneer. Finding this restaurant with a vegan menu that delivers was a treasure. Most Indian food is too spicy for me, but here I was able to choose the level of heat from mild, medium or spicy. Other Indian restaurants interpret “mild” as no seasoning at all but my Kofta, Desi Chole, Samosa and Baingan Bhuna were perfectly seasoned to my taste, a wonderful blend of dish individualized curry spices with just enough heat to slightly warm without harm. Also, it was not greasy at all, unlike the local places where the veggies are swimming in oil. I wish the rice dishes were made with brown basmati rice but plain brown rice can be ordered as a side, as it I didn’t have a lot of it cooked in the freezer already. The prices seem a little high for me, so I can’t afford to eat here very often, but will definitely come back as the perfect place to celebrate special occasions once I’m well.“

“We loved all the flavors!!! From the Nachos to the Tacos and sides of Beans and Cauliflower, we did not have a bad bite. Unique mix of Indian and Mexican food, there is something for everyone here, spicy or not. The staff was welcoming and service was excellent. This will be a place you treat yourself to as the flavors are craveable, well balanced and very fresh.“

“Edited for recent visit on 2/7/24:Finally got to try the malai pasta. It did not disappoint in flavor and was fantastic. I think adding some meatballs would further elevate this dish with some protein. Lamb sliders were also super tasty. The pizza was fine but was made better by dipping it in the malai pasta sauce. The staff were gracious and helpful. Significantly improved from my previous visit. Would come back.Malai pasta: 4.5/5Lamb sliders: 4.5Green tikka pizza: 3.5Old review:I’ll admit we didn’t have the pasta. Between the pizza, wings, and something else we had we left feeling pretty underwhelmed. We asked a couple next to us about their wings which were different than ours and their response was a similar “meh”.Indian food and Italian food should be full of flavors, this fusion of flavors seemed to be meant for the palate of someone who had never had any ethnic food. I appreciate the attempt, but I felt it was poorly executed. I might give them a try again as it has been awhile.“

“Been there a few times and every single had a great experience. I have tried every single item on the vegetarian menu. Exceptional food, exotic cocktails suggested by Benjamin . Benjamin has familiarized the menu pretty well for being new to the Indian cuisine who could suggest every menu item like a pro..“

“Wow! This is such an amazing and unique concept! I love the frankies selection from the menu. I tried Chicken Tikka Masala Frankie and Crispy Frisch Frankie and I’m satisfied! The frankies are made from naan which was freshly baked and the fish and chicken were nicely cooked and overall it was amazing! Reasonable pricing for the size of the food. Amazing service from the business and highly recommended to try if your looking for something new!“

“Delighted to see them come back. We were there last night for the third time since their opening with friends who live in Orange County and had driven specifically to be there. Saying they were not disappointed would be an under statement. Happy and relieved that our search and disappointment for Indian Cuisine has ended.“

“The man there is exceptionally great at customer service. He Offered samples before I made my selections, and the taste was simple, just like home-cooked. I was almost the last customer; he made sure I left fully satisfied. While the garlic naan was a bit thick, I gulped the entire meal box satisfying. The atmosphere was simple, not too loud, and the food spoke volumes. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Also, do not worry about the timings. He is almost open for another 35-40 mins after 10 Pm. I've seen him taking in more customers after me.The outside street didn't feel safe; that's the only thing that bothered me to walk to the restaurant from my hotel.“

“This place is such a hole in a wall, and would definitely come back. I was here literally last week and been thinking about coming back all week this week! The place is like everyone said, half grocery (international market, mostly indian goods), and half restaurant. I mean hey some people can make a business model after it, full respect. The quality of their food doesn't decrease just because its half and half, in fact, this place have the best indian food I have had thus far! There is bollywood music video playing on the TV, you are served with kindness by the staff there, and also attentativeness. The staff are great at recommending things, but they are also great salesmen - as in they would point at things asking if you want to order - lol.I ordered the garlic cheese naan, which was delicious. The tikki masala lambm which melted in my mouth. The rice was okay, but I haven't been too enthused about rice as of late, so it might just be a personal preference thing.Their mango lassi is okay, but food was really great! The parking lot is huge, free parking and shared with the other stores in the plaza.I would come back! Bring your wallet as its not the cheapest, but also bring your appetite.“

“This place has been on my "hit list" for a few years now and I'm so glad to have finally made the trip! We live on the westside, and happened to be downtown for Luna Luna, so I was excited to see that Badmaash wasn't far. Parking isn't terrible, but it's also not the greatest location (we were lucky to find street/metered parking 2 blocks away). Upon arriving, there was some weird confusion over us and another "group of 7 for 7pm" -- and though we were the first of the two groups to arrive, we were given the smaller area that wouldn't have been big enough to hold all the food we were planning to order. However, with some effort (on their end) and patience (on ours) we were able to get an additional table brought over. Everything that came out was SO GOOD! I could have (and should) have ordered the Coconut Curry Mussels for just me. Just a heads up, the space itself is pretty tiny - we were seated on the little deck upstairs. It was a little loud and hard to converse amongst our friend group, BUT with that being said -- the playlist deserves an extra point!“

“Immediately, when I walked in, I was greeted. I explained that I wasn’t familiar on the restaurant set up, and the person explained to me how the combo meals worked. The curry, rice and naan hasd so much flavor. When I get back to LA, this will definitely be my go to curry place.“

“Went to grab dinner here before a Laker game and absolutely loved it. We ordered the Mekhani chicken, basmati rice, garlic naan, and vegetable samosas and it was all delicious. We also had a mango lassi and masala tea, which were fantastic. The service was great, super kind man who chatted with us a bit. He kindly gave us some free dessert at the end, which was also delicious (I forgot what it was called but it was shredded carrot in a sweet milk with nuts. So good!). It is cash/Venmo only, so be prepared with either.“

“A hidden gem. We skipped the $13 lunch specials for spinach/paneer, chickpeas and the best lamb biriyani I’ve ever had. I’m not a fan of strong flavors and have never eaten Himalayan food before. Compared to Indian food, the flavors are less complex, mild, not spicy and more enjoyable. Did not feel like a heavy meal. Plenty of leftovers. Skip the plain paratha.“

“This place really does just get it done. Bought here twice, once for my buds wedding and now my own. This place is perfect for a quick turn purchase and tailor. They have a bunch of sizes all in the same color which is very valuable when you're buying for your groomsmen. Their tailor is right next door and they walk you over to them. The staff here always leaves me feeling they hooked me up! They do talk and move fast but I personally like that pace when I'm trying to get things done last minute. Ideal for groomsmen who need the same suit all the same color and you get a shirt, tie, and handkerchief. It's a one stop shop which I appreciated! Suit quality is about what you pay for they're not the highest, but they look good in pictures and tend to be some wool blend.“
“I'm seeing a lot of negative reviews that are years old. This has not been my experience at all. I'm new to the area and this business has been a standout for me. Always super friendly and very helpful. Prices are about average but I go back for the neighborhood feel/welcome and service.“
