My gf and I went, I resy, just decided based on timing. We ordered the DIY Hand Roll, Hamachi Crudo and Spicy Crispy Tuna. This was enough as we took food home. Every dish was fire. The fish was fresh, the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice was unique and the flavor of all the dishes hit! Our server, Soyol was so humble and truly has a servant heart, 5 stars!!!! So glad we can this night as everyone from the door to our server were perfect and the food took the exit the experience to the next level!“

“Exquisite cuisine- chef was formally trained in Japan and his expertise shines through in every dish. Particularly the lightest, crispiest tempura once could ever hope to enjoy. Attentive, perfect service. Only knock is that it’s quite expensive, making this a once-every-five-years kind of culinary experience. That being said, we will be talking about this meal for weeks. It was *that* good. Life is short: treat yourself!“

“Came in for an early dinner on Friday night. Easy to get a table. Really friendly service. They have a gluten free menu which is so helpful and the staff was well informed as well as the chefs. The salmon sushi I had tasted like butter. Crispy rice with spicy salmon also made gluten free. Almost all of their rolls could be made gluten free. Really delicious and there is nothing like dining out with peace of mind.“

Totoraku Japanese
9111 W Olympic Blvd, Beverly Hills

“Totoraku was honestly one of the most special dining experiences I’ve had. It didn’t feel like a typical restaurant at all—more like being welcomed into someone’s home kitchen, where every dish is crafted right in front of you with care and intention.

Each bite was thoughtful, beautifully balanced, and full of subtle surprises. You can really feel the chef’s presence in everything—there’s a level of precision and warmth that’s hard to describe but impossible to miss.

From the setting to the incredible food, it’s the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. Truly amazing experience.“

“It was not bad. The sashimi was good, but the spicy tuna and hand rolls or sushi with spicy tuna were too salty. I couldn't eat them. Even after my complaint, they didn't remove it from the bill. So, I don't know. I'm not satisfied.“

“This place has been around forever. Love the lady and the owner of this shop.

Yes, the sushi's not your nobu/5 star omakase sushi, but for a quick and inexpensive sushi fix, it's a local go to spot in Beverly Hills.

They used to occupy the retail space across from where they're currently at, which had ample seating both at the bar and regular tables, but I think they now only serve to-go orders at their current location.“

“More like a 4.5 rating. It was my first time at Yu/Mi Sushi, which is so close to Rodeo Drive. The food is tasty. Although a bit pricey, but hey, it's Beverly Hills. This restaurant has some really good quality sushi, sashimi and rolls, but they also have other cool things on the menu like BBQ skewers and appetizers, like the famous rock shrimp tempura.

Overall, it's a really nice place, with good food and great service.“
