The food is always top notch and the serving sizes last me 2-3 days. This is my go-to when I come to town. I LOVE this place.“

“You have to try their selectionof spiritsl!This was a last-minute trip and our first time visiting. This place is tucked away in the back of business office area, but don't let the outside fool you. When you pull up the place looks like a regular office building, but look for the sign that will lead you to the tasting area. As you walk through the plain wall hallway, you start to notice lights and a western setting area. Then you're pulled into a speak easy type of setting. Love the design! The staff is wonderful, with warm greetings, then presents you with their menu of flight choices (great price, btw). The host your preference, then recommend several tasting choices (if you're unsure), we chose the Cowboy (all whiskey/bourbons). As our host poured, she explained the history, flavors, and how the drink/bottle was made. Ever pour was excellent! My boyfriend loved the rye 18yr, and I loved the Bodini. Bottle prices are reasonable, and we're definitely coming back to buy more! Thank you for the wonderful experience!“

“This place was recommended to us by our winemaker. Drove here from Roseville, and we were NOT disappointed! Sat at the bar with my wife. Gorgeous atmosphere - has the upscale Asian feel with unique modern art and design. Big bar. The dining area is beautiful. Outside seating is available with nice views of the canal and wildlife. The food was delicious and unique. Many options from sushi, sashimi, to ramen and upscale fish dishes. The chef embraces Japanese cuisine with all sorts of flavors. The ramen was bomb! The bar had 4-5 beers on tap - had even Japanese craft imports. What I loved the most was that they use fresh squeezed juice for their craft cocktails - the key for delicious drinks. Crafty gin options were really good. Thr bartender was engaging and motivated. We had an awesome experience. Will visit again 100% ! Highly recommend.Parking: In the town Center. “Always good food. I've never had a bad meal here. We almost always get the fajitas for two - it's SO MUCH food! We both eat our fill and still take home enough food for both of us to have a second meal the next day. Their fajitas are the best - you won't be disappointed!“

“This was my first time here. We chose lunch time to try their food. Their food was above and beyond. The protein was perfect, and their noodles were not oily and had a wonderfully flavor. I had the Beijing chicken which was crispy with a sweet and spicy tomato based sauce. What a wonderful and satisfying dish. The lunch special also comes with hot and sour soup that tasted great and was fresh and hot.“

“I found myself back in the suburbs of upper north El Dorado Hills. I was with a group of hungry peeps. We wanted something yummy, moderately priced, casual counter service, plentiful & easy accessible parking and large enough to comfortably accommodate eight of us. El Favorito Taqueria hit the mark. I have dined here before.On my last visit, the service was friendly. The cashier was super helpful. Our orders came out fairly quickly and close together. So no awkward moment of waiting for that one last order. I ordered the steak rancho plate with flour tortillas. I debated between that and the carne asada plate. The cashier explained the difference. The steak rancho is the asada sliced with jalapeños, tomatoes, and onions while the asada was unsliced pieces served without any vegetables. The steak rancho was tasty. They weren't kidding about the jalapeños... there were lots of 'em. But the asada slices were a hodgepodge of sizing. Lots of tiny chopped pieces more suitable for a taco than a plate setting. Those were placed on the bottom and more suitable for spoon scooping than using a fork to eat. Other items that I have had here is the menudo, which they serve with crispy tostado shells; and asada tacos. This food is ok.The complimentary chips are self serve. They were light and crisp. But not too thin to fall apart after biting into them. Darn good chip! The salsa bar had quite a few options. I was absolutely digging the sliced cucumber and red onions seasoned either tajin. Salty, lime, and mild chile pepper flavors. Yum. Plus that red salsa ... fill 'er up, that's some good stuff!“

“I decided to stop and order a teriyaki bowl, I have to say it was very tasty. I should have taken a picture to show you; it was enough food for two people and it was on the lunch menu. The food was fresh and the price was good I will definitely go back. This restaurant is hidden in the back by Safeway.“

“One of me and the wife's go to spots. sometimes they have live music. They make great drinks. Atmosphere is always pleasant. Lots of TVs with all the games on. The worst part is having to decide between so much good food. I usually don't buy ribs from places cause I love my own ribs but I get them here a lot. They are amazing as well as all the other food.
