Drove all the way from Arden Arcade to try Xulo!I tried their cajeta latte- hot ? so good!I ordered the avocado toast with the side of greens and the breakfast sandwich on brioche with bacon and side of potatoes. Would get again!Ok, GET the side of greens! They have a dressing que es poquito dulce (a little sweet) and a little spicy! They are SO good, i liked them better than the potatoes and i love potatoes.”

“We have eaten here a handful of times now so I am surprised I haven't reviewed it before as it quickly became a family favorite! This is the type of food that is a good for your soul...everything is beautifully plated with rich flavors and diverse textures. The food is creative while having traditional elements and everything tastes fresh and like real food...no stick to your stomach heaviness. The restaurant has a cool vibe to it with the addition of murals and artwork throughout. And the severs are so friendly and attentive. My only complaint (and it isn't even really a complaint) is that if you want a quick bite to eat...this isn't the place. Be prepared to sit, relax, have a couple of drinks and snack on some chips and salsa while enjoying good conversation and good company while you wait for a delicious meal. I gravitate to the enchiladas blancas. The one time I didn't order it, I ended up getting it halfway through my first entree because I realized I had made a personal dire mistake. My husband always returns to the enchiladas verdes. We are interested in trying the more Italian inspired dishes in the future but when we are craving this restaurant, this is what we return for! The enchiladas blancas are smothered in a creamy white sauce that is absolutely delicious and are stuffed with crispy potatoes. Everything, along with the fresh cabbage, red onion, and crispy little puffs on top, is perfection! It is served with rice and beans (the perfect compliment to any enchilada) and I cannot recommend it enough. Definitely a favorite that we will continue to return to!”

“One of my favorite places to eat in Elk Grove. The food is always and good the servers/bartenders are friendly. They have a great Happy Hour. They have a good size bar area to relax in. Its totally an old school restaurant and bar.”

“came twice in one week. we've tried the thin crust combo and the deep dish BBQ, Greek fries, artichoke, lemon cake, deep dish cookie, and beignets. delicious food and yummy cocktails. we've had the same waitress both times and she always checks in on us. we were able to watch the football game. My only suggestion is bring a jacket. my husband and I were cold both times.”

“The food is off the chart, it makes you want to come back for more. Outstanding service as well. Like, you can't have good food mixed with bad service. The atmosphere is in the perfect spot. Especially, if you are getting off the highway and want to relax and enjoy an all you can eat meal. Now that's out of the way, here is my personal experience as a customer. When it comes to the dishes some of my plates cups haven't been cleaned. It's like the dish washer (the person didn't do their job). I've been here five times and, this counts the other locations in Elk Grove too. Lastly, they don't seem to keep workers there for long. Which isn't a good sign at all. If you are losing your workers, begin to pay attention as to why and what you can do within your business to keep it flowing. Otherwise, your business will flop. Be the Eagle and Observe and don't lose your focus. Otherwise you will lose your business. It's time to put yourself in the customer's shoes, would you be satisfied in a place like this, if you are noticing things that's not right? Food maybe good. But it's not just about the food. I have many temptations of wanting to go back or even ordering out. But, after seeing dishes not being sanitized, I refuse to go back or place an order.”

“This was our second time here. We go out monthly to try different fine-dining restaurants between Stockton and Sacramento. We broke our rule and returned to Palermo's. Their menu is varied. The food was perfect both times. The service was on point, The family that runs this restaurant make it feel inviting. We saw many regulars being greeted affectionatly, The owner is out and about, and is friendly. His grand daughter was our server. I wish I lived closer.”

“This was my first time coming here and it was surprisingly pretty good. The inside has a nice modern decoration although I would say their seating is weird. If I were them I would get rid of the long high seating table. The waiters/waitresses were friendly and attentive. It's a little pricier than some of the other local spots but not bad. I got the Tan Tan Ramen which was really good. How their bowls look, it looks like there's not much food, but I was more than full. There was a lot of meat and it's nice that they give you a whole egg. The broth was rich and creamy, slightly spicy. I would definitely come back and would recommend this place to other people.”

“We usually go out to eat a late lunch or early dinner (old people, ?), so it wasn't crowded. We had fantastic customer service from 2 servers in addition to our assigned server (who was very attentive on her own!), and the manager stopped by our table and chatted with us for quite a few minutes. We were treated like special guests! We tried new entrees instead of our usual go-to favorites and were not disappointed. The food is reliably good, satisfying, and competitively priced. It's Olive Garden. If you are looking for Michelin Star quality, head for The French Laundry in Napa instead; but I think you'll enjoy your experience at this Olive Garden.Parking: There is plenty of parking available, including several handicapped spaces.Kid-friendliness: Olive Garden is a nice family restaurant. Unless your kids are little monsters, they'll be welcomed at Olive Garden. It was a little more spicy then what I expected.Kid-friendliness: That Del Taco has a Nice Play area but has been completely closed since Covid season. My Grandkids used to love playing in there!”

“I have such a soft spot for this soft serve place but I think it's deserved considering that this visit and all my prior visits have been so consistent. Service is so quick, even when the place is fairly busy. I usually get the matcha flavor soft serve with Nutella filling in the fish-shaped waffle cone. I usually don't care for soft serve but this place's has such a good balance of sweetness to me, and the consistency is so smooth and creamy. I always love the idea of waffle cones upside down because I hate messes and with right side up the soft serve starts to melt and the whole experience just becomes a hassle. The cones here are clearly fresh since you can watch them make batch after batch, and the amount of Nutella they smear on the inside isn't too much. The powder toppings and strawberry versus macaron garnish are a nice touch as well. However, I find myself switching between strawberry and macaron since sometimes the strawberry isn't super fresh or the macaron can end up being a little stale. Also, the powder is nice since it provides flavors, such as graham cracker, without it the ingredient being crammed into the cup. The facility is always very clean inside, but I would be cautious if you eat outside since I usually find a lot of sticky messes. Water is also provided which is a nice way to cut the sweetness if it ends up being too much for you. Have been and will always come back here.”

“This was my first time trying S.E.A. Hut at their 1501 N C St. location. I loved the shrimp skewer, and crab rangoons. The flavor of the shrimp was delectable and very juicy, not dry at all. I will be trying the rest of their menu. Their prices are very affordable, whether ordering a side or a whole meal!”

Both burgers were pretty good and juicy..it's a little sad that they didn't come with fries and that you have to order it separately. That reminded me of the In & Out restaurant. I was anticipating that the burgers were going to be a little bit bigger but I guess because there was no fries surrounding them that it made them look a little smaller. Any how...newby mistake....I'll tell you what though...I wish I got another milkshake and didn't share because it was one of the best I've had...The service was very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was mostly clear of the smoke from when you first come in. Portion sizes are just right, not too big and not too small. Everything tasted pretty good. Not the best, but not the worst. My house special noodle didn't come with the veggies on the side (basil, bean sprouts, lemon, and jalapeño) because it was not considered pho, but the waiter was kind enough to give us a plate of veggies! Plenty of parking in the plaza.”

I ordered the Pandan custard with condensed milk drizzled on top. It’s crispy because of the outside and super soft on the inside.It starts melting within 5-10 minutes.And the spring rolls were good. The peanut sauce is THICK.Overall it’s a fun experience. Would bring my friends here.”

We all enjoyed both our meals and the beers! Typical, fresh fried German food, excellent sides and a great selection of beers! The strudel with whipped cream was the way to end the meal. The highlight was truly our server, Kylee! She has a larger than life personality and was really fun to banter with. She really made the experience fun….we’ll be back for sure, most likely on a Wednesday night Which we understand is the one night a week she works. If in Elk Grove, give them a try. However, a few times I've went, the noodles were mushy as if it had been sitting out and reheated. Other than that, it's a solid place to get some Thai food.”

It can nicely accommodate a large crowd of 150-200 people. Each and every item is yummy. I recently hosted a lunch-buffet party for a big crowd. All of my guests were mesmerized by VIRSA's decor and food.Cherry on top, service is very very professional like any fine-dining restaurant yet pricing is reasonable.VIRSA is simply better than the BEST. Very highly recommended.Parking: Plenty of free parking spaces available for a large gathering of 30-50 families.Kid-friendliness: The banquet hall is spacious... no problem for 30+ kids running around in the party hall. They have high chair accommodations for little kids. Staff is very supportive towards younger kids.”

Sugarcane itself is an acquired taste but cane corner has a variety of milk teas and tea drinks available for those who aren't wild about sugarcane. Tried the Pennywort Sugar Cane. Cashier sold us on the Pandan Waffle. Pennywort Sugar Cane - 10/10 I personally love penny wort juice on its own. Again, acquired taste. I also love raw sugar cane but not plain as a juice. My favorite pairing is sugar cane and kumquat. I'll try that next time! Pennywort and Sugar Cane was a great combo. Perfect amount of sweetness from both flavors to my liking. Pandan Waffle - 10/10. The kind cashier did a good job selling us on that pandan waffle! Their batter adds the perfect amount of crunch like an eggo waffle from the toaster. This is a well balanced waffle from the flavors to the texture. Well done, y'all! Plenty of parking in the shopping plaza. A few tables for small groups of two and two larger tables that can fit 4-6 people comfortably. The drawn art looks beautiful.”

“I was looking for a place in Elk Grove that offered breakfast burritos in the area, so I decided to give Taco Express a try. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. It was an ample portion of meat, potatoes and eggs. My only gripe is I asked for sour cream which was they forgot to add. Also, the staff are friendly. I plan to return to T.E. to try other items on their menu based on my positive experience.”
