“Stockman is the Cheers of Fair Oaks! I have never had anything but a great time. It's a warm and inviting old-fashioned neighborhood bar. The tenders are part of the ambiance. They're great people. Food is nearby, but they have some chips if you want to keep your seat at the bar. All ages are welcome. It's a step into easier times.“

“Stopped by the bar next door to my dry cleaners with my adult twins to check it out on St. Paddy's Day. My hubby was out of town and they were my Uber for the night. It was karaoke night and the talent was amazing. The female bartender was all about professionalism and made sure she carded everyone which I appreciated. My kids are 22 yo twins and don't drink and she was all over them as soon as they walked in the door which is AOK because that's her job. I really like her. She made a mean martini, Shirley Temple and Roy Rogers for my kids. She moved endlessly throughout the room serving the entire bar by herself the entire night making sure we were all served. Lastly, they have a quarter operated pool table that my kids enjoyed I loved the sensational voices of the karaoke singers and the bartender makes some mean martinis.“

If you plan to go on a Friday or Saturday night, expect to have a great time with karaoke as they have this every week.Service on drinks can vary depending on how busy the establishment is on a given night, weekends are usually a 5-10 minute wait for a drink but the staff are very friendly and outgoing. April on Friday nights and the KJ Rosalie are a double team duo that is sure to make your night entertaining and fun!If you're looking to play pool, they have two tables at $1.50 available to play, one of them doesn't always work all the time unfortunately so there could be a wait to play if only one of the tables are working.Drinks are always tasty and at a reasonable price for the area, unless you plan on going hard that night, you'll probably spend around $50-$70 a night per person.Highly recommend this establishment as one of the top places to go in rancho Cordova.“

“Absolutely friendly never a negative experience here no fights no one gets buligrent and loud just real conversation yes older folks some young but calm fun setting with fun karaoke and I've used the men's rest room here and I'm female multiple times over span of 3 yrs. “After enjoying glasses of chardonnay at nearby Luna Lounge (please reference my review if interested), my wife and I headed to The Blind Pig to enjoy a few cocktails. Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly bartender by the name of Ronny. Our first round consisted of two dirty martinis (my new drink of choice), which Ronny put his fist (that's a good thing) into making. One of the things that I love about dive bars is the various demographics that usually frequent them (along with their interesting conversations). For our second round we ordered a "Manmosa (yes I know that sounds ridiculously machismo in 2024)" that Ronny insisted on putting a fruity spin on. Not only were we thankful for his suggestion, but his version was GOOD! In real dive bar-like fashion, Ronny provided us both with an extra cup to house the remainder of the Manmosa that could not fit into our glasses (another dive bar perk). As we sat at the bar, my wife and chatted while lightly watching the movie Step Brothers on one of the televisions. Although it was a fairly slow Saturday afternoon, I can imagine that this place gets pretty lively in the latter part of the night though. We observed lots of seating, games, and an area for karaoke (toasted karaoke is the best!). I highly recommend The Blind Pig if you're looking to have deliciously strong drinks at a price that won't have you waking up the next morning rethinking the decisions that you made the previous night!“

“Cinders is a great bar with a large diversity in patrons and staff. The owner, Andy Soto is a fun open guy that will get down with anyone. Kevin Frankenstein is a great professional bartender. He pays attention to the patrons and recalls what you like to drink. Beast, security: Great guy with a gentle giant vibes. Ivys Entertainment on Wednesdays and Thursdays is really amazing! Has the best sound system.“

“Taco Tuesday is always a hit and the tacos are only $2.22 each on Tuesdays. Definitely try the house made firebox beans or the freshly made fries or tortilla chips. The burgers are hand shapped and super fresh and so yummy. They have karaoke every night from 8p-12am. They have pool tables, karaoke, darts, jukebox, free peanuts, and a beautiful patio where you can take your drinks while you enjoy the outdoors or to have a smoke. I highly recommend checking this place out if you love dive bars and great food and drinks.Parking: Plenty of parking lot parkingKid-friendliness: Kids are welcome until the kitchen closes between 9 and 10, depending on business that night.“

“I just spent a few hours at The Long Shot today, and found it to be a terrific "Dive Bar" in Arden across from Whole Foods. The bartender was very attentive, as well as handsome, the drinks were well poured, and the customers were fun and talkative. Just what you're looking for at a bar. I highly recommend the bar. Next time, I'll try it at night, but I doubt it will be any more fun. PJ ( A happy Customer)“

“Great vibe - fun crowd - cool bartenders. I always feel comfortable here, and I'm not really the type that hangs out at bars all that often. It's fun (for me) to just drop by now and then and "people watch" and chill. It's a popular enough place that they had to post signs out in the parking lot to keep spots open for the other businesses in the area.“
