“This jungle sanctuary is worth every dime. The decor is amazing, the service is excellent and the food is exquisite. Everything at Meteora is memorable; whether it's the à la carte menu or the set menu. The sweet pea hors d'oeuvre or the risotto entrée or the rib eye (the wagyu is advised) or the chocolate ganache with sorbet for dessert. Every dish leaves an unforgettable taste in your mouth. We were lucky to be served by Gina but then, everyone who brings a dish is super helpful. Thanks Meteora for this unforgettable culinary experience.“

“We ordered the hippo bread, cauliflower, ravioli with clams and the hangar steak. All so delicious! The hippo bread is soft and sweet with that butter. The cauliflower is shareable and so good! The ravioli was fine and the hangar steak was slightly sweet and tender. Our waiter, Alejandro, was so attentive and answered all of our questions. He was fabulous! The kitchen is open so you can look and see which is always fun! Love the music, too! We walked past the restaurant but then I remembered it was by the pizza place so we circled back and found it. Can't wait to return!“

“AOC has always been a “go-to” restaurant for all the right reasons- food, food, food, service, service, service, ambience, ambience, ambience. I must have dined there +20 times and it just keeps getting better. And, NO, I was not paid for this review. I am particularly “gushing” with my comments this time because my wife and l are dealing with stressful external forces in our life and AOC provided a little quiet from the storm and performed perfectly in every way. During this All-American™ escapade, I was slyly offered a small bag, containing salt-upon-sea, by a dishevelled, camoflauged Hollywoodian native whilst engourging of the delicacies delivered by this All-American™ "Clark Street Diner" (克拉克街餐厅). I indulged in this salt-upon-sea once entering their one (1) lavatory. This legal and easily accessible substance enhanced my dining experience tenfold. It should be offered at the table, and is my only complaint with the experience. “Was looking for a "new" place to try on my latest visit to LA. Pann's had some good reviews so I stopped in. It was 10:30 on a weekday and the place was absolutely buzzing!!! Fortunately there were some seats available at the counter and I was able to snag one. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast of a scramble, fruit and a side of pancakes! I didn't think I would finish everything, but the food was so delicious that I ate every bite. Coffee was pretty good, also. I don't write a lot of reviews, but I had such a good experience at Pann's that I wanted to shout it to the (Google) world!“

“Best Chicken I ever done did have, chicken is juicy, the spice is out of the world, and when they say hot, they mean HOT! The staff was also the nicest I've ever talked to, asking me if I was sure I wanted the x-hot. They even gave a sampler to show me what's up! “This place was cool. It was bright, loved the bookcases and the owner took the time to come out to greet us. We had a delicious dinner. “Cool vibe in the main street area of Larchmont! Stopped here for a quick drink after shopping in the area. Got a Michelada and Sangria! The Michelada had a nice kick and served with their own beer. The Sangria was good too and not overly sweet. Lots of cute and small boutiques nearby. Definitely would come back, and try some of their food!“

The cakes, as you can see in the video look delicious (didn't try one though).We had the lemon pancakes which were AMAZING, also the breakfast burrito which was really delicious as well and very filling. Their coffees were also flavourful and strong.Lastly, salmon with potato pancakes..which I personally didn't really like.. they had a funny taste.. quite soggy.. something about the salmon? Or the eggs? I didn't understand but unfortunately has a weird and not good taste.“

“This place is interesting. Upon arriving we were told they wouldn’t seat us until our whole party was there which was interesting because there was no wait otherwise (we were missing 1/3 people. I got a cold brew with a little oatmilk and vanilla and it was solid. I ordered the chicken biscuit and had asked if I could add American cheese to it because I saw their other biscuit had it but was told that they couldn’t give me a (1) slice of cheese because it’s reserved for another dish on the menu….. (the other biscuit) so the waiter suggested preserves which I went with and it was most of the flavor for the chicken biscuit. The chicken was nice and crunchy, the biscuit itself was warm and soft but ultimately dry without any sauce. I loved the Filipino inspired dishes on their menu. My wife had the breakfast burrito with longanisa in it and she loved it“

“Very pleasantly surprised by the meal. Ambiance is great, perfect music volume. Great looking outdoor space, but i never felt outside. The food was the real star of the show. Service seems to start slow, by design. They give you a moment 5-10 minutes to settle into your table, before the "show" commences.“

“1 star deduction because the tables are awkwardly small for 2, and the food all came out within 5 minutes, resulting in the waiter trying to jam way too many plates on at once. restaurant needs to learn courses and timing, even with family style meals. the food all came out even before we got our drink order(which was placed first) food & ambiance 5 stars. we were lucky to happen upon jazz night on the 2nd and 4th fridays of each month. strong smell of truffles when you enter, so truffle haters beware. mushroom arancini- crispy fried outer layer, with rice and mushrooms on the inside sitting on a truffle based sauce. overall delicious but could be more generous with sauce as inside seems a bit bland without it. still great pastrami wagyu topped bone marrow- amazing. served with warm toast. great decadent combination here striped bass - very well done. fish was tender and cooked perfectly. sauce was almost drinkable labneh- first time trying this dish, a strained yogurt. served with warm soft delicious pita. will definitely order this every time i return price ended up less than $100 pp with tip“

“Wanted to try something new so we decided to stop by and it exceeded our expectations! We got the Patita, Sisig, garlic rice, and lumpia. The patita was extremely crispy on the outside while the inside was very soft and fell off the bone! The sauce was amazing and the garlic rice went well with the dish! The sisig was soft and flavorful but had a bit more of a soy sauce taste to it which was not something I was used to with regular sisig, but still great ! Lumpia was crispy and loved eating it with the sweet and sour sauce!“

“Was surprised at how large the serving size was at majordomo. We had ordered the smoked half bo saam, ibérico pork, and tuna carpaccio. All were so delicious, not a miss for any of them. The Bo saam was my favorite for sure, and we luckily had plenty leftover. I'd definitely recommend coming on an empty stomach to ensure that you're able to enjoy multiple dishes. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying the short rib. Overall this is a great place to come for a special occasion with a large group. Make sure to make reservations some time in advance!“

“**Update: there is no place I enjoy eating at for important meals than at HLAY. Food and drink are second to none. But, it's the staff and crew that really and it into the stratosphere. I couldn't ask for a better meal, all around, than here. Jonathan, the place is in good, capable hands. “We have been going to Horses ever since they opened since it’s right in our neighborhood. The most friendly staff with a big shout out to Amanda. The most amazing craft cocktails and absolutely delicious food. I think we’ve almost tried everything on the menu and have not been disappointed once. Can be hard to get a reservation, but we usually get there at 5:15 and are able to sit at the bar with no problem.“

“Inside of Hammer museum!!! Beautifully seated in the arts and modern patio style cafe. We sat down at the bar for the quick coffee, bartender was very very polite and here we are!! “Went to Tom's on Friday 4/26/24 and had the pleasure of having Justin as our waiter. This was our first time here, and the service from Justin was excellent. He had a great attitude, very friendly, nice smile, and very attentive. He came about every 10 minutes to make sure everything was ok. He also helped with suggestions on food items, which the food was delicious. Would definitely go back if we can continue to have Justin as our waiter.“

“I have been coming here to enjoy their first class baristas and phenomenal bakery items since they opened. Tonight, I decided to take my wife to Fanny"s so we could celebrate our anniversary. Needless to say we were not disappointed. Managers Jimmy and Max ensured our special night was just that. Brooke was also fantastic as she waited on us and made the right suggestions for dinner and cocktails (both fabulous). To top off the night, we had the most amazing dessert. “I was in Santa Monica yesterday morning in line to eat at another restaurant. It was already lunch time. But I wanted breakfast food. I asked the people in line if that restaurant served French Toast for breakfast. A very nice young woman with a cute dog said "go to John O'Groats" if you want a traditional French Toast Breakfast. I followed her advice and drove out to John O'Groats. I am so glad that I did. This place is a tradition diner with a lot of charm. The French Toast was great. As was the coffee. The service was good. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I will definitely be returning to this location with friends. This is a great place to have lunch or dinner. Before I drove out there, I called. I got an outgoing voice message. I left a message in which I said that I had wished that someone had answered the phone. I just wanted to know if they are still serving breakfast. When I arrived, the proprietor said to me "You called didn't you?" I answered in the affirmative. He responded "We have breakfast all day every day!" I wish I had taken down the name and contact information of the woman who recommended John O'Groats. I would have enjoyed sharing my experience with her.“

“What a great dining experience! Kali always delivers in cuisine, service and hospitality. The new scallop ceviche was outstanding and the Delta Asparagus with a whipped béarnaise is something I look forward to every spring. The wine list offers compelling selections which bring out the best in every dish. Although the drive from Orange County is long, a dinner at Kali is well worth the journey. “Where do I start with how much I love this place? As a photographer it's a joy and a delight to be here but even without the fact that I've worked there many times... The food the decor, the staff.. if you get a chance to meet Eden Alpert you're lucky. Always kind.... And you'll notice that she's probably having the best time of anyone. The music and the performers are top-notch. It's not uncommon to see some of the top names in jazz.. however don't be surprised if you see Seth MacFarlane doing songs from Sinatra or an Amy Winehouse tribute. Sound mix is even and the perfect volume. Highly recommend the Caesar salad with a plate sized parmesan crisp and the mini ahi tuna tacos and save room for the hot chocolate cake. Food is top of the line and jazz club is elegant and upscale. Can't wait to eat and shoot pics there again soon.“

“I was at Fixins for the first-time last Monday evening and I'm definitely coming back! Genuinely friendly service that made me feel welcomed every second in that facility! I had the Deep-Fried Deviled Eggs (must-try) and the Fish Sandwich. The deviled eggs were delicious, and the crispy, golden exterior provided the perfect contrast to the creamy, flavorful filling. Topped with a drizzle of tangy sauce and a bit of bacon, each bite was a perfect blend of textures and tastes. Supa hot fire indeed. The taste reminded me a lot of In N Out just with a more hardy bread. I only ate half so thought it was very filling. At $16 it felt pricey but since I took half home I didn't mind!! Criss Cut Fries - this was your typical fry, I enjoyed them but wouldn't get again for $6. Black Sesame Bev - This had a really unique flavor profile but ultimately was just too sweet for me. I'm glad I tried it but would get something stronger next time! I'd like to go back and try a different sandwich! I think I'd only get the chopped cheese again if I was in a real want for a fast food cheeseburger feeling.“

They recently changed their license and unfortunately we didn’t find out until our friend came with her 18 yr. old daughter and we sat down and she had water and was carded and asked to leave. I have only been here once so far so I have a lot more I need to try but when I did go I ordered the chicken and waffles....MY GOODNESS!!! it was one of the best chicken and waffles I have ever had. Everyone working here was super nice and the time we went we took our dog so we were eating outside. But too many people were walking by and distracting our dog so the server kindly let us eat inside even though we had a bigger dog. The staff here were super sweet and friendly. The only thing that was a little annoying was inside was REALLY loud. It's kind of a small spot and it gets really packed so it just sounds like people are shouting their conversations to be heard. We had to leave a little early because my gf was getting anxious from the noise. But the food and service was amazing!“

“Very cool vibe. Refreshing ambience like you’re just dining in your own nice backyard. Friendly staff and the food was delicious. We ordered a total 4 dishes for me and my husband and it was sufficient. Parking was a bit tough and it was on a Sunday afternoon. I can just imagine if it were a regular work day. “Little Dom's has become our go-to for a post-hike brunch. Despite the number of options on their menu, I always find myself gravitating towards my two favorite items -- 1. Eggs Fungi - The oyster and shitake mushrooms are cooked to perfection with just the amount of bite without being too mushy. With two poached eggs and a creamy hollandaise over toasted sour dough, this is definitely a favorite amongst our group. If you're feeling like you need a bit more protein after your hike, go for the Hanger Steak & Eggs which is pretty much the same dish but with the mushrooms replaced by steak! 2. Ricotta Cheese & Fresh Blueberry Pancakes -- Just get it...you'll thank me later. Super fluffy and light pancakes. In our last trip here, everyone at the table got an order of pancakes for themselves. Oh yeah, they have outdoor seating so your pup is invited too! Just don't forget to get him a side of bacon ;)“
