“Went to Tom's on Friday 4/26/24 and had the pleasure of having Justin as our waiter. This was our first time here, and the service from Justin was excellent. He had a great attitude, very friendly, nice smile, and very attentive. He came about every 10 minutes to make sure everything was ok. He also helped with suggestions on food items, which the food was delicious. Would definitely go back if we can continue to have Justin as our waiter.“

“Great place for Pizza, wings, and beer. Enjoyed the lemon pepper wings the best personally. I also really like the pizza crust delicious! The mole pizza is great along with the meat lovers. Definitely my go to pizza place around the Lincoln Heights/Boyle Heights area“

“Edited for recent visit on 2/7/24:Finally got to try the malai pasta. It did not disappoint in flavor and was fantastic. I think adding some meatballs would further elevate this dish with some protein. Lamb sliders were also super tasty. The pizza was fine but was made better by dipping it in the malai pasta sauce. The staff were gracious and helpful. Significantly improved from my previous visit. Would come back.Malai pasta: 4.5/5Lamb sliders: 4.5Green tikka pizza: 3.5Old review:I’ll admit we didn’t have the pasta. Between the pizza, wings, and something else we had we left feeling pretty underwhelmed. We asked a couple next to us about their wings which were different than ours and their response was a similar “meh”.Indian food and Italian food should be full of flavors, this fusion of flavors seemed to be meant for the palate of someone who had never had any ethnic food. I appreciate the attempt, but I felt it was poorly executed. I might give them a try again as it has been awhile.“

“Love everything about this bar from the regulars to the staff. Bartenders always fast and even show patience for those who waste time when the bar is crowded. Froze is a must and of course the pizza is delicious. Make your way to the back patio and with no worries about the weather nor miss a play on a game becasue they have heaters and tvs for you to enjoy. Cheers“

“Found this place by accident because it was the only convenient parking. The lady was so incredibly nice and welcoming. Food came out super fast, and was very fresh. I was also impressed by the incredibly competitive prices. My meal was about $13 for 5 wings and fries. Many places would charge me closer to $20. Honey garlic wings: 10/10 (slight kick, I don't normally like any spice, however I really didn't mind on these, they were very good) Side note: The sauce was just drizzled on, not covering the whole thing. I thought it was perfect, the chicken was great on its own, and it wasn't drowning in sauce. Sometimes places go overkill on the sauce to compensate for mid chicken, not the case here. I don't know how it can get better than this in LA.“

“Please give George - who I renamed GMoney - a raise! In all seriousness, he made me (a California newbie) feel so welcome and happy while I was out here visiting my daughter... beyond words. He was amazing and nothing like the East Coast bartenders I’ve been used to! A wonderful night was had because of him!“

“Fantastic addition to our South Park neighborhood. The food is much better than you would expect. I recommend the steak tacos. The staff is amazing as well! Really solid team. They are always so friendly and hospitable - even the security guard is super nice! I love coming here with my little dog. We always have a great time.“

“Great place to watch sports. Dropped in tonight for a laker game and the bar was great. Ambience and volume were great, and service was perfect (thanks Vanessa and Freddy). The bartenders did a great job of making sure my wife (who didn't care about the laker game) also had a great time. Looking forward to coming back soon!“

“If you're looking for a laid-back atmosphere, a variety of beer options, and some good food; I recommend going here. There are a lot of tvs throughout, playing different sport games. You definitely get to see the eclectic nature of the koreatown community. The staff also reflects a relaxed attitude but they're also attentive when it comes to refills or new orders. I'm not a fan of their cocktails, but some food suggestions are their KFC, Kimchi Fried Rice Plate, and their wings! And then most people, I've gone with, enjoy the different beer options.“

“Wow what an amazing brunch experience today! 1) Atmosphere: Nice and chill vibes for a Sunday brunch. 2) Service: Amazing. Our waiter, Steven, took such good care of us! He was super friendly, made great recommendations, and did not let the mimosas run low. (if you show up for Sunday brunch, ask for Steven!) 3) Food: Bottomless mimosas for $24 is a great deal, especially on this side of town. Speciality drinks were good too. I enjoyed my chicken and waffles. They weren't stingy on the chicken like almost ALL the restaurants in LA and the waffle was a nice side and delicious. It was plenty of food for me...we all got to go boxes. I'll definitely be retuning here with a larger group of friends. Highly recommend!“

I mean I love money too and the place was not empty so you know what you are doing but after the $2 tip on that 9 $ beer I cut my fat ass off thank you to the chef that gave me some amazing soup I appreciate that also to the man that talked to me for more then 10 mins without offering to buy me a drink I won't be calling you but bless your heart the music was epic! Cheers y'all“
“A truly hidden gem. Went with some friends while waiting for a dinner reservation, and were thrilled with our experience. The atmosphere is lovely, they have board games for patrons, and they had free snacks. Would make it my regular spot if I lived closer.“

“Love Tom Bergins! I have lived in the hood for 20 years and drove by this place many times. but finally wandered in w my boo and have been a regular ever since! I always get the Pilsner , which tastes delish! Their food is awesome too! The shepherds pie, pretzel bites and patty melts are my favorites. They also have specials, last time I got the Filet O Fish sandwich, so good! The atmosphere is very chill, nice neighborhood bar / Irish pub with a very long history. The bartenders are always nice, you have to try this spot. They are only really opened on the weekends so plan accordingly!“

“I attended a private event here and it was amazing. The atmosphere at the bar alone was fresh and lively and the food looked amazing. Unfortunately, I had eaten before attending, but I will go back to try the many delicious appetizers that I saw being brought out. The drinks looked amazing as well. The bartenders were fun and kept the people happy. I am excited to go back!“

“It was my first time coming here, and I had the 12" pizza with pepperoni. The crust was my favorite part. It was crunchy and soft at the same time. The cheese was a bit too chewy for my taste. But I really enjoyed it as a whole. I'd say it's a bit pricey, but compared to other pizza places, it's worth it and fresh. My boyfriend reay likes the Fettuccine Alfredo, it's his favorite. Took about 20 minutes for us to receive our food. They offer take out but only until 9pm.“

“Love this place! Came here the entire football season and it was such a great vibe for sports. They even have a cute patio area with TVs which I'll be taking advantage of A LOT this summer. Full bar and the food is tasty - great happy hour in general but they also have a great taco Tuesday and $10 pizza Wednesdays. Highly recommend! Shout out to Jordan and Kyla because they're always so kind and take good care of us. :)“

“Super friendly service here! The lady running the bar and register was chatty and fun and friendly. I tried their spicy vegan sausage and I liked that it was something they made in house. They have a few vegan hot dogs and you can choose your toppings. Tasted really good. Also got a yummy pretzel. I really recommend the chipotle aioli. Small parking lot available.“

“It's a typical bar on the Hollywood strip. But to their credit their drink specials aren't bad and their menu prices are one of the most reasonable on the strip. The waygu/rib burger was deceptively good. Wasn't impressed on first sight but it was tasty. Service is a B but to be expected for a busy lunch crowd.“

“OMG - a MUST visit if you have kids. Chuck on the desk was so friendly and explained everything in detail multiple times to the over excited kids. The manager Crystal helped us out to make sure we could take advantage of the offers and our servers went above and beyond to make sure we had every thing we needed and our glasses were always full. Food was delicious and really generous portions. If I could rate higher I would.“

“Had a private dinner and party here and the best time! The owner and operators were so helpful and pleasant to work with. I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our special event. Wonderful sound system, lots of space to dance and plenty of space to sit! The bathrooms were clean and the drinks were strong! The outdoor patio with the fire pit table were beautiful and comforting. And the parking was easy and close. All in all excellent!“

“Haven't been to Gold Room in years, better than I remember it. Small dive bar off Sunset. Bartender Tony was friendly, attentive and quick to take our drink order. His cocktails were very very well made. He takes his time and you can tell enjoys the craft. Tried the Double Trouble and Pineapple Express. Double Trouble is absolutely delicious - 10/10. Pineapple Express was just as good, but def loaded (has mezcal & tequila). It'll have you feeling good real quick. Drink prices are reasonable priced for LA. Same for their daily happy hour menu. Very solid beer menu too. They have a jukebox you can pay to control the music which is kinda cool. Get to hear a variety of music genres cause of it. Solid bar for a quick beer or cocktail.“
“Went here after work around lunch time - I was the ONLY one here! Nikolani was the bartender at the time, she was super amazing and welcoming. The next time I am in SM I will for sure be back ❤️❤️FYI Come for lunch - u get to play pool for free!“

“Me personally I am not a downtown fan, it's the same as london but smaller, but if you are in the area, I would highly recommend this place, it's amazing and cosy with a live atmosphere. Just east tp downtown sp out the way but close enough to go and unwind for a few hours.“

“This place is an absolute hidden gem. The service and vibe is great. What more can you ask for amazing TV’s service and drinks. The food is quality better than any bar around. It’s more of a complete restaurant and bar! High quality drinks and food. Music is on point. This place should be packed every night and it’s not. I’m giving away the sauce. Araik always takes care of us and knows what I’m drinking and remembers what I like. He goes out of his way to ask how I am. His service is on point and he knows how to make a great old fashioned!Come to this place you will not be disappointed.“

“I like the vibe of this place but I was going back and forth between 3 and 4 stars. The prices are high. This is a dive bar but the prices do not reflect that. That's my biggest complaint. Our server was super sweet, albeit sometimes hard to find. Who knows how many servers were on the clock or how big their sections were, so I'm not holding it against her. Her personality honestly made up for it anyway. The wings are fantastic. The rest of the food was just fine. There is a parking lot, which is great, but does fill up quickly on a busy night. Do make sure to get a pass from the bartender/server.“

“Came for a happy hour. They have some cocktails on happy hour menu. Can order from bar and there is table service. Food is good for bar food: we shared fries tenders pizza and nachos. The ambiance is dark and comfortable with soft lighting and plush seating available. It can get loud with games. Parking is available in a paid lot but the machines weren't working the day I was there. Street parking is also available (read the signs) and there's also metered street parking.“

“This Billiards center has become a frequent pass time for me and my friends to go play some pool and have fun. The staff and owner are very friendly and ready to help everyone in any way they can. The vibes inside are very nice and relaxed and they have a-lot of cool snacks and drinks to choose from if you wanna eat and shoot some pool. “Gulp is a nice lunch getaway in Playa Vista with both inside and outside seating. The staff is very attentive and brought water without even asking. I order the nachos and they were FULL! Unfortunately I didn't grab any photos because I ordered togo, however this restaurant is a gem.“

“We always love coming to this Kalaveras location - the atmosphere is great, the food is amazing, and the drinks are so good! Our favorites are the carne asada and the chicken taquitos dorados. Adriana was our server today and was so hospitable, prompt, and kind. TLDR: Great food, great service!“

“Super easy. Super casual. Not a fancy wine bar at all. But, they offer many different beers, wine and and a casual bar. My only complaint is that the SPARKLING ROSE COMES IN A CAN. the menu needs to say "in a can". I wouldn't have have ordered it had I known. Anyway, get pizza or falafel or a whatever food you want and sit at the casual bar and enjoy! Fun“
“I just loved this place the decor is so random but I think it's just fun the drinks were strong and delicious and the price was great. I didn't try the food but it looked upscale and beautiful not what you typically see at a dive bar. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because parking suuuucks. We went around and around. Other than that this place was dope.“
“Really quick and efficient service. Went with a group of 11, stayed for 3 hours just doing karaoke and we each only paid $15. Really great price. They also have tamborines in the rooms which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend for at least the karaoke aspect!“
“I had a great experience at your bar & grill up until a belligerent guest disrupted me & all of your innocent patronsHis name is “We the People”He frequents your establishment for low costing ribeye & coors lightPlease contact me for full description so you may ban him for his actionsOtherwise, your establishment is top notch“
“Love this place! Well curated stock of fresh beer featuring options often unavailable at the large retailers. You can mix and match single cans for takeout or consume onsite for a nominal corkage fee. As others have noted, there are also many beers on tap in the back, where you typically find an eclectic mix of customers watching sports inside or enjoying the sun on the patio. Fun place, excellent staff and dog friendly. Highly recommended!“

“A prime example of a great neighborhood dive/sports bar. Excellent prices, effective staff, fun times. The karaoke is very fun and low key. Bar never gets too crowded or rowdy. It’s a more laid back & local version of Backstage or Gaslight, but isn’t clicky either.“
“I hadn't been to this location in about 10 years. Back then it was a total dive bar with "fichera" girls. This time I experienced a fairly nice bar while I watched both the Canelo vs. GGG Trilogy boxing match and the Dodgers vs. Giants baseball game simultaneously. The waitresses and bartenders were very nice. I'll definitely keep this place in mind for watching future sports events. Otherwise, parking for this location isn't easy to come by and it's not a pick up joint. The clientele was pretty much exclusively middle aged Mexican men.“
“I traveled cross country and was looking for a bar that reminded me of home. This was it! Between the bartender Rojia and the place itself, I couldn't ask for a better experience. The older guy that was working was not very welcoming at all. It was very disappointing to go one night and there's tons of people filling the bar when Rojia was working, then go back when the older guy is working and there maybe 8 people. I'd highly recommend going but only on her days“

“33 Taps is really a sports bar, and I don't drink and I hate sports, but we go there anyway. The burgers, fries and other items are worth it.The place is super cute with tables everywhere, they also have a lot of outdoor tables with shade. We always eat in. It is not as loud as you might think, actually it is pretty quiet. The place is kept very clean and the service is fast and very friendly. There is nothing we don't like about 33 Taps.We have had all their burger types and they can make it the way you want. For me there is nothing worse than a well done burger. Make mine bloody and add the cheese. Their salads and bowls are also great. We love the Caesar grilled chicken breast, avocado, black beans, cilantro rice, peppers & onions, romaine, pico de gallo, pickled onion, parmesan, house made croutons, caesar dressing. The Wedge Cobb is also yummy with Iceberg lettuce, applewood bacon, avocado, hard boiled egg, cherry tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles, pickled onions, and ranch dressing. I don't care for ranch and they are happy to give me the Caesar dressing instead. They also have great nachos. The menu is not huge. It is a bar menu. But it tastes like fine dinning burgers to me and don't forget their fries.“
