“One of the best gourmet burger in LA served as fast as a fast food place, an incredible selection of beers from all over the world, what more to ask for? “We got seated quick and was greeted by our server. Super nice. They have 5 TVs and a nice ambiance. My husband got the appetizer nachos as his meal, he doesn't eat meat so our server suggested swapping out with vegetarian patties. He ate it clean. I had the classic burger (smashed like) no mustard or cheese. I added mushrooms and it came with fries. I love my burger, a little messy, but good. They have a wide selection of drinks. Outside and inside seating. Only thing we didn't love was parking, I would just park on the street in the neighborhood across the street. They have a lot of Yelp bannered everywhere. Highly rated. We would totally come again.“

“Our group of six stopped by at Far Bar after a Dodgers day game. We sat right in the middle of the bar and were promptly served water and offered drinks and food. We remained at FB for several hours and sampled their tots, chicken wings, fries, pot stickers, and sliders. All the food was quite tasty, but their wings were stand out. I had a Moscow mule, which was refreshing, tart, and gingery witout being overly sweet. My friend raved over the Gold Rush cocktail and others agreed their drinks were well-made. The servers were on point and friendly, and made sure we had water during the entire time we were there. A nice spot to enjoy a good cocktail.“

“We didn't order any food, so this review is for drinks service, and vibes. On our way from the Petersen Automotive to Pijja Palace, we had some time to kill and so found Jay's Bar on Yelp. The four of us arrived a little after 4:00 on a Thursday, found street parking (rather than the tiny lot), and pulled up to find two other patrons and who we think is the owner doing some business on her computer at a table. Erich was very friendly but not imposing. The happy hour deal of Kirin and gyoza sounded good, but we were on the way to dinner and decided not to. My brother ordered the Big Bad Baptist (on draft!!! I haven't seen it in forever!), my sister-in-law enjoyed her Brooks Dry Cider, Jim G. had a Space Dust on draft and I enjoyed the Yuzu You cocktail, which was a nice mix of shishito-infused gin, yuzu liqueur, lime, and cracked pepper (there's also a bit of simple, which I asked Erich to omit). There was some nice music playing and a rousing tennis match on one tv (at least according to Erich and the two other patrons) and on the other, the end of a Godzilla movie and then an episode of The Sopranos. I imagine at night when this place is packed, the vibe is a bit different, but it was great for our purposes. We are way far away in the northwest SFV, so this isn't a place we'll drive all the way here for, but if we're in the area, we'd definitely stop in again.“

“An excellent selection of Belgian and German beers. The 1809 Berliner style weisse and Duchesse Cherry were perfect on the outdoor patio. The frites were also excellent. Large enough to have fluffy interiors and crisp exterior. The wursts were juicy and cooked well. There are many different kinds for whatever more you're in.We chatted with (I believe) the owner about various beer styles and locations, and I mentioned how I miss German apflewein. He suggested we visit Alma's Cider and Brewery, which I plan to do in the future.Vegetarian options: Most of the wursts are meat based, but three of them are vegan. I recall seeing at least one vegan frites sauce (pesto). I did not inquire about kitchen protocols.“

“In my quest for a memorable lunch spot in the Hollywood area, I stumbled upon a true gem—the flavors at this LA establishment are simply unparalleled. The corn tostada left me speechless with its smoky burnt corn aioli—a true symphony of flavors. Equally impressive was the tomato tostada, adorned with an abundance of queso fresco that perfectly balanced the charred heirloom tomato jam. I wholeheartedly recommend trying these tostadas for their unique and delightful flavor profiles. For mains, we indulged in the chilaquiles, which, although slightly saltier than expected, boasted tender short rib that stole the show. Unlike the typical chilaquiles overwhelmed by chips, this dish offered a perfect balance of flavors. In summary, I can't wait to return to this establishment and explore more of their delectable offerings. It's truly a must-visit for anyone seeking a culinary adventure in the heart of Hollywood.“

“We had a ladies lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. We made reservations online through Yelp about two weeks prior and were seated promptly on arrival at reservation time. We ordered drinks, appetizers, pizza, and flat breads to share. The buffalo cauliflower (has a nice kick), Brussel sprouts, and parmesan truffle fries were good, plentiful and crispy. The pear royale pizza and heirloom tomato flat bread were really good. The skinny studio heat cocktail was delicious and left me wanting a second round of it. Atmosphere is loud and it gets really packed and busy here. Service was attentive. There is a separate room in the back where a baby shower was held. Six Chow can accommodate big groups and is great for celebrations. Several tables were celebrating birthdays where staff came out with cake/desserts and sang at various times. “There’s been so many countless times when I’ve passed by this spot while driving on Wilshire, and the name and the star decorations on the building never fail to catch my eye. It tends to get super busy on the weekends so I was happy that I was able to find some availability in my schedule and finally try this spot out.If you’re looking for a spot with good vibes to catch up and hang out with friends and family, then Star Night is up your alley. They have one of the best outdoor ambience in KTOWN, Los Angeles, and it’s even prettier at night with all the colorful lights. They serve tasty Korean pub food and they also have karaoke rooms for you to channel your inner Beyonce. Need some alcohol to unleash that inner Beyonce? Not a problem ,because they have a full alcohol license so they got hard liquor, cocktails, soju, beer and more! I thought that was pretty cool because usually Korean pubs/bars only serve soju, soju cocktails and/or beer.|| L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G ||-Cross Streets are Wilshire Blvd & S Manhattan Pl.-Valet Parking (limited spots) or Street Parking-Try to get there as soon as they open or when the valet parking lot is still relatively empty so you can snag a parking spot. I would recommend parking on the right side (reference: facing the restaurant’s entrance) so you don’t need to wait for other cars to pull out to get out of the lot.|| F O O D / D R I N K S ||Pork BBQ Platter – Highly recommend if you’re planning to share food with friends/family. It’s a decent portion and it comes with pork belly, sausage, corn cheese, steamed egg and kimchi. The juicy pork belly was definitely the star of this platter because these were gone as soon as they were cooked and ready to eaten.Fish Cake Soup – Broth was so yummy especially after screaming our hearts out at the karaoke rooms. I liked how the broth wasn’t overly salty. There was quite a good amount of fish cakes too!Pan Fried Octopus – Our server recommended my group to add some noodles on the side and I’m so glad we went with that suggestion because the octopus and sauce was so flavorful, the noodles helped soak up the flavor. I also liked that you could actually see and taste the octopus. I feel like most places that serve octopus dishes are stingy but that isn’t the case here.Corn Cheese – I didn’t realize the pork bbq platter already came with corn cheese but since I love corn cheese, I didn’t mind ordering a separate plate just for it. It was quite cheesy and I honestly was fine with that!Star Night Special – such a pretty drink with all the layers! Quite tasty and addictingVegas Pool Party – alcohol slushy time! I liked how they incorporated sour patch kids but do note that if your candy is in the drink for a long time, the candy will harden and it may be difficult to get to the candy!“
