“One of the best gourmet burger in LA served as fast as a fast food place, an incredible selection of beers from all over the world, what more to ask for? As a regular there, I am always impressed and coming back. Only drawback is that the place is sometimes a bit empty which baffles me so I wanted to share so the place gets the crowd it deserves.“

“Great environment and food…“
“This bar is awesome! They offer brunch specials on the weekend, as well as mimosas and delicious Bloody Mary’s. CK generally serves us and is super attentive, professional, and hardworking. This place has had staff turnover and sometimes they’re down to 2 people to make the food and serve the drinks; nonetheless, CK and the staff work hard to ensure everyone’s happy and their order is taken.“

“We got seated quick and was greeted by our server. Super nice. They have 5 TVs and a nice ambiance. My husband got the appetizer nachos as his meal, he doesn't eat meat so our server suggested swapping out with vegetarian patties. He ate it clean. I had the classic burger (smashed like) no mustard or cheese. I added mushrooms and it came with fries. I love my burger, a little messy, but good. They have a wide selection of drinks. Outside and inside seating. Only thing we didn't love was parking, I would just park on the street in the neighborhood across the street. They have a lot of Yelp bannered everywhere. Highly rated. We would totally come again.“

“Our group of six stopped by at Far Bar after a Dodgers day game. We sat right in the middle of the bar and were promptly served water and offered drinks and food. We remained at FB for several hours and sampled their tots, chicken wings, fries, pot stickers, and sliders. All the food was quite tasty, but their wings were stand out. I had a Moscow mule, which was refreshing, tart, and gingery witout being overly sweet. My friend raved over the Gold Rush cocktail and others agreed their drinks were well-made. The servers were on point and friendly, and made sure we had water during the entire time we were there. A nice spot to enjoy a good cocktail.“

“The ketchup comes in the form of a sheet called leather ketchup, making it easy to eat. The quantity is also good. The side menu is delicious, the beer is also very particular, and it can be said that this is the number one hamburger restaurant in Los Angeles.I'm Japanese, but I highly recommend it.“

“We didn't order any food, so this review is for drinks service, and vibes. On our way from the Petersen Automotive to Pijja Palace, we had some time to kill and so found Jay's Bar on Yelp. The four of us arrived a little after 4:00 on a Thursday, found street parking (rather than the tiny lot), and pulled up to find two other patrons and who we think is the owner doing some business on her computer at a table. Erich was very friendly but not imposing. The happy hour deal of Kirin and gyoza sounded good, but we were on the way to dinner and decided not to. My brother ordered the Big Bad Baptist (on draft!!! I haven't seen it in forever!), my sister-in-law enjoyed her Brooks Dry Cider, Jim G. had a Space Dust on draft and I enjoyed the Yuzu You cocktail, which was a nice mix of shishito-infused gin, yuzu liqueur, lime, and cracked pepper (there's also a bit of simple, which I asked Erich to omit). There was some nice music playing and a rousing tennis match on one tv (at least according to Erich and the two other patrons) and on the other, the end of a Godzilla movie and then an episode of The Sopranos. I imagine at night when this place is packed, the vibe is a bit different, but it was great for our purposes. We are way far away in the northwest SFV, so this isn't a place we'll drive all the way here for, but if we're in the area, we'd definitely stop in again.“

Enjoy ?Wheelchair accessibility: Restrooms are located downstairs. Not too sure if there's a ramp or elevator.“

“Highly recommend the chicken and cheese if you are a cheese lover! Also had kimchi fried rice and pork kimchi stew. Texture is chewy and dishes were more than enough for 2 people. Service was great too and ambiance has two sides to choose from one being a bit bar/modern scene and other a bit more traditional. Great place to stop by with a group of people :)“

“Okay so I was there because I recently moved to koreatown and I've been doing my research on places to visit, I thought it was something different, pretty cool vibe going on. The food was also great, easy food to eat with your beers. Service was fast and easy, not much going on. I would recommend to check it out.“

“An excellent selection of Belgian and German beers. The 1809 Berliner style weisse and Duchesse Cherry were perfect on the outdoor patio. The frites were also excellent. Large enough to have fluffy interiors and crisp exterior. The wursts were juicy and cooked well. There are many different kinds for whatever more you're in.We chatted with (I believe) the owner about various beer styles and locations, and I mentioned how I miss German apflewein. He suggested we visit Alma's Cider and Brewery, which I plan to do in the future.Vegetarian options: Most of the wursts are meat based, but three of them are vegan. I recall seeing at least one vegan frites sauce (pesto). I did not inquire about kitchen protocols.“

“In my quest for a memorable lunch spot in the Hollywood area, I stumbled upon a true gem—the flavors at this LA establishment are simply unparalleled. The corn tostada left me speechless with its smoky burnt corn aioli—a true symphony of flavors. Equally impressive was the tomato tostada, adorned with an abundance of queso fresco that perfectly balanced the charred heirloom tomato jam. I wholeheartedly recommend trying these tostadas for their unique and delightful flavor profiles. For mains, we indulged in the chilaquiles, which, although slightly saltier than expected, boasted tender short rib that stole the show. Unlike the typical chilaquiles overwhelmed by chips, this dish offered a perfect balance of flavors. In summary, I can't wait to return to this establishment and explore more of their delectable offerings. It's truly a must-visit for anyone seeking a culinary adventure in the heart of Hollywood.“

“I always come here for the Soy Sauce Fermented Raw Shrimp! The sauce is prepared perfectly every time. My guests have tried a variety items on their menu from Galbi to Tofu to soups and stews. They love everything they tried. Very authentic Korean food. The service is always friendly and patient to explain the menu items. It's a perfect setting to catch up with family and friends and have great conversation because the restaurant is never too loud or noisy. AND I LOVE THE K-POP MUSIC THEY PLAY!!!! Absolutely my best go-to Korean restaurant.“

“Super friendly service here! The lady running the bar and register was chatty and fun and friendly. I tried their spicy vegan sausage and I liked that it was something they made in house. They have a few vegan hot dogs and you can choose your toppings. Tasted really good. Also got a yummy pretzel. I really recommend the chipotle aioli. Small parking lot available.“
“The bad: They ask what side you want but don't tell you it's an extra charge. That was a little upsetting. They made it sound like the sandwich came with a side. The place was super good! Got the Liars fuego steak melt and it didn't disappoint. Perfect level of spicy. Will definitely get again. Also go the buffalo wings. Super good. We will be back.“

“If you aren't going to Tam's during the Christmas season, you're missing out on your Christmas Carol fantasy. Period clad carolers take requests, cocktails are served in tea pots, the charm is endless. If you don't want to commit to a whole dinner situation, you can still feel the vibes by just going to the bar and having a tasty cocktail. It can get quite busy, so if you're dining make a reservation ahead of time, and if you're hitting the bar consider your timing.“

“We had a ladies lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. We made reservations online through Yelp about two weeks prior and were seated promptly on arrival at reservation time. We ordered drinks, appetizers, pizza, and flat breads to share. The buffalo cauliflower (has a nice kick), Brussel sprouts, and parmesan truffle fries were good, plentiful and crispy. The pear royale pizza and heirloom tomato flat bread were really good. The skinny studio heat cocktail was delicious and left me wanting a second round of it. Atmosphere is loud and it gets really packed and busy here. Service was attentive. There is a separate room in the back where a baby shower was held. Six Chow can accommodate big groups and is great for celebrations. Several tables were celebrating birthdays where staff came out with cake/desserts and sang at various times. Valet is available in the front, parking lot is small, and there are street parking.“

“The York is a no frills bar with good variety of drinks but my favorite was the Mother Earth Cali Creamin. Tastes like a creamsicle! The women wanted to try the Apple Pie cider but was sold out, settled for Apple cider in a can, and at 8% it didn't disappoint. Would come again to chill and hang out and try something new.We sis miss out on a live band but the music was decent. ?“

“This is a super fun place to get some drinks and food with friends. I've gone a handful of times now and the servers are all very nice and helpful. The food and small bites are so delicious and you can never go wrong with a little soju and beer. I love ordering the brisket stir fry with bean sprouts and cheese buldak. They also post lots of information and updates on their Instagram (@gangnampocha_la), so make sure to check it out!“
“It’s a nice bar, they have a drag show and it’s funny! We went there to play “Loteria” it’s like a bingo but with images, it’s a Mexican game. And it was super fun.We had snacks and the nachos were good but not the best, the salsa and toppings were not enough for the plate and the total amount of the chips as we usually have it.But I recommend it as a nice activity during the weekends.“

“I'm giving this place a 5 to offset the negative reviews. We went there last night after a basketball game. I was a little reluctant to go there given the negative reviews there aren't a ton of options beyond super casual in the area. The Lab exceeded my expectations. Service was great. Very fast. Burger was exceptionally good. And so were the starters. I will definitely go there again post game.“

“This is my second time at this location and their chicken strips are always tasty. Their fries aren't great, but they are fries. I appreciate a company called Stout actually has a few stout beers on tap or in the can. I love a delicious dark beer and it's nice to have one so close to campus. As for the restaurant, it's always clean and the staff is always super friendly. I will return to this location again. Great meal.“

“There’s been so many countless times when I’ve passed by this spot while driving on Wilshire, and the name and the star decorations on the building never fail to catch my eye. It tends to get super busy on the weekends so I was happy that I was able to find some availability in my schedule and finally try this spot out.If you’re looking for a spot with good vibes to catch up and hang out with friends and family, then Star Night is up your alley. They have one of the best outdoor ambience in KTOWN, Los Angeles, and it’s even prettier at night with all the colorful lights. They serve tasty Korean pub food and they also have karaoke rooms for you to channel your inner Beyonce. Need some alcohol to unleash that inner Beyonce? Not a problem ,because they have a full alcohol license so they got hard liquor, cocktails, soju, beer and more! I thought that was pretty cool because usually Korean pubs/bars only serve soju, soju cocktails and/or beer.|| L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G ||-Cross Streets are Wilshire Blvd & S Manhattan Pl.-Valet Parking (limited spots) or Street Parking-Try to get there as soon as they open or when the valet parking lot is still relatively empty so you can snag a parking spot. I would recommend parking on the right side (reference: facing the restaurant’s entrance) so you don’t need to wait for other cars to pull out to get out of the lot.|| F O O D / D R I N K S ||Pork BBQ Platter – Highly recommend if you’re planning to share food with friends/family. It’s a decent portion and it comes with pork belly, sausage, corn cheese, steamed egg and kimchi. The juicy pork belly was definitely the star of this platter because these were gone as soon as they were cooked and ready to eaten.Fish Cake Soup – Broth was so yummy especially after screaming our hearts out at the karaoke rooms. I liked how the broth wasn’t overly salty. There was quite a good amount of fish cakes too!Pan Fried Octopus – Our server recommended my group to add some noodles on the side and I’m so glad we went with that suggestion because the octopus and sauce was so flavorful, the noodles helped soak up the flavor. I also liked that you could actually see and taste the octopus. I feel like most places that serve octopus dishes are stingy but that isn’t the case here.Corn Cheese – I didn’t realize the pork bbq platter already came with corn cheese but since I love corn cheese, I didn’t mind ordering a separate plate just for it. It was quite cheesy and I honestly was fine with that!Star Night Special – such a pretty drink with all the layers! Quite tasty and addictingVegas Pool Party – alcohol slushy time! I liked how they incorporated sour patch kids but do note that if your candy is in the drink for a long time, the candy will harden and it may be difficult to get to the candy!“
