“This place is a hidden gem, very underrated. We've been here a couple times now. Awesome outdoor seating area, they have live music. The food and drinks are always outstanding. Pricey, but what you would expect from Menlo Park. Will come again for sure.”
“Quality food. Excellent cocktails. The menu is a bit boring and dishes are a little overpriced if you care about that. Been here a few times and the only thing that stands out in memory would be the cocktails. The quality of food is consistent, it's well prepared, and it's a safe bet to take people when you don't know their tastes. Good atmosphere too.”
“I attended a private party. Chef Nick was EXCELLENT!! The food was amazing. Different spins on traditional dishes and I couldn't wait to taste the next dish. can't wait to come back! Service and atmosphere were top notch!”
“I had the linguine with clams, which was delicious! My husband had the special branzino which was also excellent. We shared the Rosa Di Mela (hot apple tart with vanilla gelato), which disappeared in an instant! We had a lovely server, who was so helpful and knowledgeable. All of that was wonderful and we'll certainly be coming back for the food & service. The only negative, is that sitting outside, you are right on the sidewalk by a road. If they could perhaps put up a bit of a screen or trellis, or maybe just some nice pots of flowers & plants, it would make the entire experience tremendous!”
“This was our first experience at Flea Street. It was a fabulous dinner. Our table ordered the lamb, pork chop and the short ribs. All three were delicious. The portions were just right, the presentation was lovely, and the server was very attentive. We will definitely be back!”

“This is an unusual place, basically the lobby of a new residential complex turned into a hip (for Menlo Park) lounge. The first time we were here the food was mixed (in not everything was fantastic), but the service was outstanding. This time what we ate was all delicious (the scallop ceviche was one of the best things I have ever eaten), but I had a hard time getting anyone's attention to get a glass of wine. It is designed to be a place to hang out for a while. Good cocktails, small plates of tasty food.”
“Delicious food, very pleasant atmosphere, welcoming and friendly staff, very reasonably priced, indoor or outdoor dining. I thought the yogurt drink was fantastic!Vegetarian options: A nice variety of vegetarian dishes. The combination appetizer plate is really good. The bread is fabulous!”
“Overall a nice experience but the music level was unusually loud this evening .. and if you're going to have music play appropriate music like French bistro genre not high energy dance music”

“Robin really took me by surprise. Having tried many Omakase, I was not expecting this to rank among my favorites. They are producing some remarkably creative gastronomy and sushi here!First, I appreciate that they offered three different pricing options. We chose the middle tier ($150 pp) which gave us a couple more premium cuts, such as Otoro and Uni. This was overall enough to leave us feeling full by the end of the meal.Over the course of two hours we were surprised by creative enhancements on familiar nigiri as well as completely unexpected dishes not typical to traditional omakase. Each course was an opportunity to highlight a different ingredient or flavor profile. I think they have struck an ideal balance between new and old here which is not easy to do.Chef Scott was a great host for us and the service was excellent. They have done a really nice job with the decor and ambience as well. I highly recommend Robin for any sushi lover looking for a breath of fresh air.”

“This Place is so Good and Delicious!!! They have Chinese, Hawaiian and even Pho! Been coming here a lot!”
“The portions are large and cooked with love. Everything on the menu is fantastic. The staff is friendly and actually cares about their customers. A really fantastic secret little jewel to go enjoy”
“Friendly and helpful staff, great environment, attentive. my first time having Caribbean food and got the jerk chicken, the extra sauce is highly recommended for the extra kick.”
“Wow, I just got my first delivery of Little Sky’s Olive Rosemary round and Onion & Parmesan bialys and I’m in love! Sooo delicious I could eat it as a meal! Had it with some TJ’s chili garlic crunch and Italian Bomba Calabrian peppers. I thought each bialys would be the size of a bagel but it was the size of a personal pizza.”
“Cafe Zoë is an incredible little community space that serves delicious beverages, food and entertainment. Kathleen, Zoë and the staff are truly amazing and provide great service. They are community minded and love how they support the arts as well.”
“Dropped in on a whim, wasn’t sure what to order. The owner offered some free samples. The lamb is amazing! Some of the best I’ve ever had. He made me a lamb gyro that was 10/10. My son and I were very impressed with the service and food. We Will be dropping by again. Thank you!”
“Really good authentic Indian food. Had there multiple times and always had the same consistency of quality. They however seem to have shortage of staff which in turn leads to longer wait times. The price also seems to be not as high as the index on Google. Must try if you are in Menlo Park!”
“As I mentioned on other reviews, our plans over the summer were changed at the last minute by wildfires in Canada. This resulted in us having to change plans on the hoof and for a number of reasons we ended up booking 3 nights here. The hotel is OK – I’d say it feels more like an upscale business hotel not a vacation spot (though it was very busy with families in July). For me, it didn’t feel luxurious enough in terms of the room product or location. Our first suite looked over a very busy road but we were then moved to overlook the pool which was better. The suite is more like a junior suite with the bedroom area separated by a partial wall. The sleeping area was small, however the bed was comfortable with very soft linens. There is a small hallway leading into the sitting area which is well stocked with coffee maker, kettle, fridge, cups etc. The bathroom - although it only had a single basin - had plenty of storage and had a large shower cubicle with rain-head as well as a good bath. The dressing room had very little short-hanging space but other than that was well planned. However, the staff in the restaurant are VERY good – several of them German, perfectly trained and on point. One of them recommended the excellent Village Pub for a meal one evening which we very much enjoyed. Also, if there on a Thursday do go to the bar - Thursday evenings are rather an entertaining “scene”.”
“Random find as we were staying at a hotel nearby. Wine and cars, great combo! The staff os welcoming and friendly, the cars exotic and expensive. The wine is great, $10 tasting fee can go towards the purchase of a bottle. The pizza was tasty too! Pool table and fooz ball table available for use. Doggies welcomed!”

“Love the layout and ambience. The coffee was great. With @mike and @gordon”
“Great place to hang out and enjoy the great food !!!”
“Our take-out fish and chips were disappointing. Chips were undercooked and not crisp. The fish under the brown hard crust was OK but the whole presentation was unlike any light crispy dish our family has ever had as fish and chips. Not a repeat meal for us.”
“Good beer selection, the serve both coffee and beer, you sit and work from there. Not sure why they don’t allow to drink from canned beer which I bought from them…you can only drink if you get beer from tap.”
“We enjoyed our dinner at Che Fico, but the menu should have indicated that many of the items were meant to be shared. I would have been much more likely to go sooner if I had known because it seemed that it was extremely expensive. We started with the chopped salad, which was good, but overflowing from the bowl in which it was served. It was also extremely cold, in fact, too cold. The clams in a bread pocket was very good, except about five of the clams were not open, meaning they were not fresh. The lasagna was way too creamy and cheesy with not enough bolognese sauce. The corkage fee was a little excessive at $50, but the service was excellent. The ambiance was nice, but not outstanding. The tables were a little close together.”
“Really interesting spot. Its got a Dune-chic aesthetic that is really fun and unique. Like if Jodorowsky was an interior designer. Coffee was great and the customer service was excellent.”
“very excellent. tacos meat was tender and juicy. tacos itself were fresh and not too thick. prices are good for the size. place is not dingy, it is clean. would be nicer with more salsa choices. high on the ”
“I've never had a bad meal here. Food is amazing, service is amazing, atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. Best frosted mocha you'll ever have. I also highly recommend the #3 egg scramble.”
“Si estas buscando algo saludable y rapido ve a este lugar y ordena el Wild Nutty Turkey. Excellente Servicio!!!!”
“The mushroom soup was scrumptious. The crab cakes were lovely! I don't usually actually like crab cakes but these were flavorful and perfect. The truffle mushroom ravioli was great.Wonderful service; like genuinely nice and attentive. We sat outside - good placement of heat lamps. Forgot to take photos; next time!”
“From out of town and I was looking for that taste in tacos ? that only a few places I know back home can do. Hands down this place is amazing. Humble hard working folks that serve you, feed you with there amazing food.”
“Gotta love small places like this where the owner is on deck and takes pride in his restaurant. Value to price was awesome. Bunch of Stanford students drive out here probably for this reason. The lunch sashimi bento box was outstanding. Cheers and ty for having ”

“We ordered the Hand-pulled Laghman which was very good! Noodles were fresh, veggies and meat were tender, and the sauce was very flavorful. As an appetizer, we ordered the Gosh Naan, which was a pleasant surprise. There was less meat in it than expected, but the meat was very juicy. In terms of service, it was a little bit slower than some other places. However, definitely still recommend stopping by, food was delicious!”
“Four of us had a delicious dinner. Service was lovely, atmposphere was quite so we could actually hear each other. Someone commented this isn't the typical California Mexician food place - exactly! It is better. All four of our main dishes were good. Side of beans had real flavor and wasn't drowned in cheese. Included a little salad not just for garnish and guacamole. Rice also had nice flavor and texture. Vegetables were grilled not boiled. Prices very reasonable for a sit down, full service in a nice location resturant.Parking: Easy to park on a Thursday night.”
“Solid fish burrito in a neighborhood taqueria. Lots of neighbors hang out in it his place where there is a very decent menu of tacos burritos enchiladas etc. chips and a salsa bar is on the house - fresh and delicious. The service is good too.We have been going here for 17 years and glad that it is in our neighborhood. Even after changing owners recently- the food and service remains great.”
“The dishes that are remarkable are truly astounding. The Tea Salad, The Kahosh? Spiced meat, the Green Curry is very delicate an interesting spin on traditional dish. They removed their most spectacular Scallops, that was a big dissapointment. Great & interesting cocktails Service always great”
“I appreciate the commitment to the bank-themed menu. Given the creatively stylish ambiance and the low noise level (and the option of a rooftop bar), this place is a top-notch date spot.”

“Went here for a team lunch. So many options, all really good. I really like the beef wrapped onion pancakes and the steamed veggies . They were also really polite. Service was really good.”
“Tony's pizza is insanely good. I think Tony's might actually be my favorite pizza I've ever had - the crust, the cheese, and the toppings are always fresh and perfectly cooked. The crust is crunchy on the outside, doughy on the inside, but not too chewy. The service is good as well! If I could ask management to change one thing, it would be to remind me if I want to add a tip while paying by card over the phone. I always forget, and then I don't have cash for the driverI will say - once I ordered buffalo wings, and they weren't very good. So I'll stick to their pizza”
“I hate it when I have to say this is the best Sushi I have had in 20 years, because it will be pack more, then I will have to wait. This is an actual Japanese restaurant! They usally close at 8:30, but they were packed. At the looks of things, the were not going home until midnight. Unbillable how fresh the food was. Great assortment of Saki. Food was to die for. I will be returning on Sunday after the Super Bowl.”
“I had been wanting to try this place because of its history (the original Round Table established 65 years ago) and it didn’t disappoint. The place is so clean and so nice inside. There’s memorabilia displayed throughout the dining area and the banquet room has a suit of armor on display! The pizza was so delicious! They do not skimp on ingredients and the veggies were so fresh and tasty. If we needed something, the staff was more than happy to help. I would highly recommend this restaurant!”
“Excellent, creative dishes! Good service!! 10 stars!!!”
“Ristorantea Carpaccio is a gem! The food, from Clams Oreganata to Ribeye, is consistently delicious. The inviting atmosphere, both inside and outside, adds to the charm. Whether it's the calamari, Margarita Pizza, or the Chicken Piccata, each dish is a hit. It's the kind of place that keeps you coming back for more, reflecting on the great times shared over fantastic food and genuine hospitality. Ristorante Carpaccio is great for special occasions. The cozy warm vibe, compliments the tasty desserts, like the homemade Tiramisu & The Bread Pudding with vanilla ice cream, these add a sweet touch to any celebration. delightful spot for marking those special moments. Highly recommended!”
“An upscale bar at the Rosewood Sand Hill Hotel. It's the epitome of Silicon Valley after-hours with its energetic mix of business and casual hobnobbers, a more formal atmosphere (a swanky, wood-panel look), and an impressive bar, seating areas, and socializing on the patio. Creative mixed drinks and extensive wine list.”

“Chef Kwan’s is a true Bay Area gem and landmark! I grew up with it as Su Hong To-go but it’s retained most if not all of its menu through the rebrand. Accuracy of orders can be spotty (I.e. missing Chinese chicken salad dressing, dressing tasting off, providing chicken version of a dish instead of beef). But, staff are kind and they’ve figured out how to run everything quite efficiently.Parking: Free street parking and municipal lot located next to Chef Kwan’s. Parking availability can be spotty depending on day/time and downtown traffic.”
“Good food, reasonable prices, friendly staff quick service and groovy music”
“Absolutely delicious food. They had a special deal, 40% off with apple pay, that totally did not work. It was kinda sad because it was advertised everywhere but I still had to pay the kinda premium price of the high quality food. Its a difficult decision to balance delicious food but at a high cost. Has to be a treat.”
“Delicious chocolate and berries cake beautifully presented for my daughter’s 30th Birthday complete with a decorated chocolate plate with the words Happy Birthday! Thank you, the cake was perfection!”
“Woodside Bakery prepared the most beautiful and delicious fruit pies for our August wedding. We are from out of town, and Jan and her team did a fantastic job organizing with us from afar. We are so grateful for their contribution to our special day! Highly recommend.”

The breakfast sandwich was awesome with the house made hot sauce.A friend got a coffee with the house made whipped cream and it was so good. The space inside to study or work is small but there’s abundant sunny space outside.”

“This place is actually really really nice the staff is really friendly and eager to help out the food is really great and it's also very clean you're in town want to grab a bite to eat or just want to come and pick up a few items for dinner definitely the place to be”
“The store is very well-stocked, clean, and competitively priced. Great selection of snacks, drinks, and miscellaneous pantry and household items. Their deli has tasty sandwiches made with care. The location is super convenient if you're on the West Menlo/Sharon Heights/Oak Creek side of Stanford.Overall, it's a great place to shop and support a family-run small business :)”
“I came here while working nearby, and my meal was excellent. The club sandwich was a great size, the fries were hot and tasty, and the turkey chili was tasty. I'll be back!”
“My first real coffee experience as a teen in 1975. So glad it's still in the same location! Peet's is the best.”
“Their fries are delicious! They have a guy that works there that doesn't read the notes. Twice the cashier had to catch the mistakes. One was a salad with no onions- he added onions. For me, I said no mayo/mustard- it had it.While I waited for my sandwich, I did get to try a cup of their soup-and it was delicious! Chef Travis (?) is a great addition.Their salads are amazing, the portions are generous, and the people who work there are very nice- they do try to make customers happy.Be patient. They're still working out some kinks. I do look forward to returning.”
“I have to say, they have one of the best Authentic Pupusas I’ve ever tasted in my entire life. I am very picky with my food and I got to say man, they make one of the best if not the best pupusas in the entire Bay Area. They also offer quite the variety of food! It’s like a mix of Salvadorian and Mexican cuisine. Not to mention that the owners and staff are always very clean and they are very professional! I will definitely be back here soon. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“I only had an iced tea (had way too many coffees already) - but damned it was the best iced tea I have had in a while. Right next to the Caltrain - very convenient to reach.”
“Stopped by to try a new boba place! I ordered the honey milk tea with boba 25% sweet! I was quite pleased with drink, there was strong tea flavor and the boba was nice and chewy. The only qualm I had was I could barely taste any honey flavor. I understand I got it 25% sweet, but I wish I at least got a hint of flavor. I'll come back and try it at 50% sweet next time. There were a lot of delicious other teas on the menu, so I'll stop by next time to try those.”

“Showed up bout 15minutes before closing time to buy something and charge phone while waiting on DB to cross Dumbarton Bridge;Staff cleaning tables directed me politely out of Her way and staff closing out register just gave me a banana and other late customers where allowed to use restrooms and simple purchases and I wasn’t rushed to leave.”
“Nice and staff They help me at the last minute before they close, they were almost closed The food quality is good unfortunately unhealthy but once in the valley is okay. Use Tuesday Thursday half-price deal large combo large pizza $20Parking: Hard to find parking”
“I got the Peach Green Tea with boba pearls, and it was a great pick-me-up. They gave me a little too much ice though; I would just ask for less ice next time. The staff that was working were really nice and really patient while waiting for me to make my mind up about my order. There are places to sit outside, which would be a really nice place to hang out when it's sunny and nice! The shop is located in a small little complex in a very quiet and very safe neighborhood. I would definitely recommend.”

“We were looking for a new place to try and Octopus had some great reviews/ pictures of their sushi rolls. After looking over the menu we decided to head on down. Friendly staff got us seated right away and we started with a round of appetizers. Gyoza, chicken karaage and a Toro Nigiri special started off the night and everything was delicious. Ordered 4 rolls and a bento box combo and everyone was extremely satisfied with the food. Can't wait to return and explore more of the menu”

“Love this place. Great BBQ chicken, with rice, beans, salsa, and tortillas. It's inside the Michoacan Produce Market... not the little tacqueria next door, and not the Chavez's Market. All chicken orders are "to go" only, there is no seating. The market also has a lot of other interesting foods and beverages. A great place, once you find it and know where it is!”
