“Best sandwich ever . Freshly baked delicious sourdough bread . Their garlic pesto turkey sandwich is the best . I had a toasted garlic pesto turkey sando add on bacon and avocado with Clam chowder soup meal deal and lemon cooler cookie for my dessert. It was amazing. All the staffs were friendly and very cozy environment. I would highly recommend this pace .“

“Great food quality and super cheap! You can get two slices of pizza and a drink for only 6 dollars. I would recommend coming here for a sit down but it's a small business so don't expect the service for delivering to be fast or cheap.“

“Overall a great place for takeout or dine in. Love atmosphere and bar area though I tend to do takeout more than eat in. Service has always been good. Great beer selection including Pliny on tap. Great to get takeout on a nice day and got to the square. Only reason I can’t give 5 stars is sometimes inconsistent food quality. I find some items are more consistent like the bahn miKid-friendliness: Kid bento boxes a great option.“

“It's taken me a while to fall into this habit. Started with my husband going on the regular for a salad or bowl. AND YES, I tend to do the salad bars of Whole Foods or Mollie Stones but this place is just different from all the others. It seems a bit pricey but the weight of my salads from the afformentioned kind of clock in at the same price range via weight. Haven't done a custom bowl yet as I don't think I can do better on the creations. Right now my fave is the "bachan's bowl" (Japanese for Grandmother.)Finally went last week in person and just seeing all the fresh salad stuff laid out, in a clean modern well lit space really kind of made me feel like I will try to build one next time in person as they have a lot of salad toppings no one else does. Although it might take me a minute. We usually order and pick up. I had ordered in arrived in the right amount of time~ it is not obvious where to stand and took a minute to get someone to talk to me but when they did, it was fine. Seems like, everyone squarely has their role. Phone guy on the phone. Fried Chicken guy doing the fried chicken. Walk in and build a salad~solo area and people for that section. So that was a bit weird since I had never been there before and I come from Customer Service background where you jump up and help if you are doing nothing. But overall I appreciate this totally different take & taste and offering than all the other Salad places and Salad Bars. It's worked it's way into my life when I get busy for lunch.“

“Took a while to get a table and there’s not much seating inside, but we got the coziest little table by the kitchen. The spicy tomato pizza is insanely good! The rosemary pizza was solid but I felt that it needed more salt. Staff and vibe are great. Highly recommend“

“The salmon was unreal. Got it on my avacado toast. Will for SURE be going back just for the salmon. Everyone absolutely loved their food. My boyfriend said it was the best BLT he ever had. The owner was super friendly and helpful! I think the tumeric latte was too adventurous for me but otherwise the regular cappuccino was good“

“This is more about the management side of things. I honestly didn’t have the BEST experience with them on my last order. BUT, they went out of there way to fix things. They are new in Oakland, just getting the operation together and I’m happy to see them there. They aren’t the cheapest but, I don’t want the Dominoes or Pizza Hutt experience (or quality) and if I pay a little extra for food, I want good service to follow. In the end, they offered great service. I’m impressed.“

“This place is a ridiculous gem of a spot. Rather unassuming from the outside, but inside is a super focused, stylish and capable kitchen turning out a small menu of greatness. It almost goes without saying that this is not grocery store rotisserie chicken. You actually get crispy skin here, non generic seasoning and nosiness throughout. It's also served with fresh mint and cilantro, and all the chimichurri you can stand. The sides are impeccable with next level roasted broccoli and Brussels, both also served with herbs and bright sauces. All wrapped it up with really great service. Date night-level ambiance too! Only thing is you need to be ready for stinky leftovers because the amount of cruciferous veggies (cauliflower, sprouts, broccoli) you can get, but it's worth it.“
