“I had originally given them a one star review. Was contacted by Chris the owner with an apology for a reservation they canceled. They asked us for a second chance and we gave it them. They totally made good and we had a very pleasant evening.“

“This is more about the management side of things. I honestly didn’t have the BEST experience with them on my last order. BUT, they went out of there way to fix things. They are new in Oakland, just getting the operation together and I’m happy to see them there. They aren’t the cheapest but, I don’t want the Dominoes or Pizza Hutt experience (or quality) and if I pay a little extra for food, I want good service to follow. In the end, they offered great service. I’m impressed.“

“This place is a ridiculous gem of a spot. Rather unassuming from the outside, but inside is a super focused, stylish and capable kitchen turning out a small menu of greatness. It almost goes without saying that this is not grocery store rotisserie chicken. You actually get crispy skin here, non generic seasoning and nosiness throughout. It's also served with fresh mint and cilantro, and all the chimichurri you can stand. The sides are impeccable with next level roasted broccoli and Brussels, both also served with herbs and bright sauces. All wrapped it up with really great service. Date night-level ambiance too! Only thing is you need to be ready for stinky leftovers because the amount of cruciferous veggies (cauliflower, sprouts, broccoli) you can get, but it's worth it.“

“Cacio e Pepe pizza was fantastic. so glad I went out of my comfort zone and tried it. Their pepperoni pizza was also awesome. This is no average pizza restaurant, this is a must place for pizza when in San Francisco! Cannot wait until I can get back and dine there again!! Cannot say enough about the quality of their pizza....“

“Simply fantastic pizza! We got the pepperoni and I will get it again. The meatball dish (while pricey) is so so good. Great marinara, perfectly cooked bread, and the meatballs themselves were awesome.Really really good Caesar salad with anchovies. Would definitely get again.Beers on tap were okay. I prefer a German Pilsner personally so it didn’t really hit. And the IPA was more piney and I like citrusy. Should’ve gone for red wine - it would pair much better anyway.“

“Really good bagels, not exactly NYC style, they're their own delicious thing. PRO TIP: preorder from his online shop in the week that leads up to skip the line.Highly recommend the trout rillete when he's doing sandwiches. The proprietor is also just a great guy and writes an amusing/heartfelt weekly newsletter about the tribulations of a baker.“

“Came here to try the tomato soup after seeing a Instagram video of a local for the Marina neighborhood that she was recommended by the manager to try the tomato basil soup. I was taken the order by Erin today, she was so nice; she has a great hospitality made me feel so comfortable as a first timer. The tomatoes soup were pretty delicious, I like the tartness from the tomatoes went well with a sense of pleasant taste from the basil. Definitely will come back for more of that and of course to get their salads! Thank you Erin“

“The salmon was unreal. Got it on my avacado toast. Will for SURE be going back just for the salmon. Everyone absolutely loved their food. My boyfriend said it was the best BLT he ever had. The owner was super friendly and helpful! I think the tumeric latte was too adventurous for me but otherwise the regular cappuccino was good“

“Best sandwiches in San Francisco. The daily specials are my favorite. The flavor combinations are so creative and incredibly delicious. Their classic tomato soup is wonderful, and the perfect addition to any sandwich. Service is always friendly. I would order from them every day if I could.“

“Sandwiches that cost less than $15 in overpriced San Francisco felt like a winning lotto ticket. The sandwiches was quite a pleasant surprise. Sweet tangy spicy secret sauce with roast beef and extra goodies inside the crunchy Dutch crunch.Yummy! The wait time….. that’s another story.I wished them merry Christmas and a happy new year once I got my order.“

“Tasty authentic ramen. Lovely staff. Serves alcohol, but it's not on the menu, so make sure you ask. Know that when you choose meat, you'll only get one type (i.e. fuku chicken karaage ramen does not come with pork from the base, which is not clear on the menu). Would come back again.“

“It was Tuesday night and several friends went into San Francisco for our monthly Book Club meeting and we decided to stop into Gialina for dinner and drinks before our meeting. This spot was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. It’s a tiny place that feels like a true San Francisco neighborhood eatery and we were made to feel like locals the moment we arrived. The food is excellent, the service is excellent and it was a great evening for all of us. I had the Margherita pizza because so many other options had onions for some reason, though my buddies were inexplicably ok with onions on their pizza. We skipped dessert in an effort to not get fat but next time I’ll give the dessert options a try.Michael DelehantyCompass Real Estate“
“Took a flight to San Francisco and was starving. Walked around before deciding on proper Food. Had the chicken pozole and fresh yogurt.I was too brown to speak! the Pozole was actually good and not offensive to my ancestors. The yogurt Greek yogurt was just the way to end this visit to the airport. It’s a must try for me.“

“Our office's fav place for gatherings lately. Good food, serves alcohol, inside is okay but the big draw is the large outside setting area. Google Maps has this located on Market, but go around to the back via 2nd Street to find the patio and entrance.“

“I have ordered the breakfast burrito and a breakfast sandwich a handful of times and they have been excellent! Big burritos, great taste, and most importantly you get enough food! I have found a few of the other local burrito joints in SF are either great tasting and small, or big and too greasy. We have noticed if you put in more than 3 burritos in one order each burrito's size will be drastically smaller. Just some food for thought.“

“One of my favorite places in SF for Boston clam chowder. As for the lobster roll I enjoy the Maine style. There's quite a bit of mayo in the sauce, so it makes it more like a lobster salad sandwich, and the mayo can overpower the lobster.“
“Happy to have this option in the neighborhood now! It's be great if Blue Barn only used EVOO for their dressing. I'm bummed they use canola oil for their balsamic vinagrette; I'd expect the use of better oils at this salad price point.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu“

“One of the best chicken sandwiches in the city. Size of the chicken is hefty! The crisp of the batter is always top crunch. You can not go wrong stepping in here at anytime. Adding bacon which makes it the D’lux is a must if you live life on the edge.Sweet Potato fries over regular fries always and if you’re a vegetarian they have roasted cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, macaroni and cheese.Vegetarian options: A lot of there sides are vegetables and non meat options.Parking: Parking is limited but not impossibleKid-friendliness: Burgers and fries!Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible and welcomed“

“Took a while to get a table and there’s not much seating inside, but we got the coziest little table by the kitchen. The spicy tomato pizza is insanely good! The rosemary pizza was solid but I felt that it needed more salt. Staff and vibe are great. Highly recommend“
