“We really enjoy eating at Jack's. Our family had an exceptional experience on a busy Saturday night at the Newark location. Our server, Riley, was very friendly and patient. Some of my kids take time to make a choice. Riley wasn't impatient with us at all. He waited until the kids were ready to make their choice. We felt valued and respected as patrons. He came back regularly to check on us and offered refills for the kids' drinks. When we had an issue with a soggy burger bun he was quick to fix it. The manager Sean brought out the fixed burger and made sure everything was okay. We really enjoyed our dining experience!“

“HAND PULLED NOODLES! Tried this place for lunch and so glad I did. I got the chili oil noodles with beef. So nasty and, for me, not overly spicy but a nice kick. The beef was very flavorful and tender. It was a good deal at $16.99 & I took half home. The staff was very friendly and our food came out fast. It's in a strip mall on McCarthy across the street from Walmart.“

“Tteokbokki -- not too spicy, one egg is included! Noodles are chewy and flavored. Japchae -- yummy noodles with lots of veggies, it was seasoned well. Mandu -- very very crispy and warm! The filling was savory and warm. Banchan -- you can ask for more, all were delicious! Overall quick service, it's a nice mom and pop shop! All the food was served very fresh and warm! Incredible Food - the flavors of are unique and delicious. Food is medium spicy. Service is fantastic - I got good recommendations - Salmon Curry, Chicken Momo, Veg Fried Rice, Paneer Masala Curry and Garlic Naan. After the meal, even the chef came out to meet us. It is awesome to meet a friendly Fremont family owned establishment. I would strongly recommend trying this out.“

“I've been here enough times to confirm the consistency of the quality. I like the MaLaTang offered at this restaurant the most. You pick the items you want included in your MaLa() from a buffet line, your selection is weighed, and they cook it for you. You get to choose 1 of 3 options of how you'd like your MaLa() cooked -- hot pot, stir fry, or something else. You also choose your level of spiciness . I choose 0 spice, but some friends that think they can usually handle mild find level 1 spice to be surprisingly much spicier than what they expect (typically what they consider a 4-5).I love this place since they cook for you, so unlike other hot pot places, there's no chance for you to over-boil your own food. The broth flavor offered here also is savory, and matches my palate. I think some other hot pot places could improve their broth since it's not memorable or anything better than what you make at home.I will continue to go back for the MaLaTang (soup). My friends think this is their best strength on the menu, too. Although the fries look fancy in presentation (they use dry ice in its own bowl and refill the water in the dry ice bowl to continue the show), I found it too greasy but without much flavor or the right crunch to order again.“

“This pupuseria is the place to go to with a bunch of menu selections and plenty of seating. When I came on a Sunday afternoon, there was still some seating in the restaurant. The cashier answered any questions I had. The food came out quickly and the staff brought out some salsa for us. The pupusas was tasty and the filling is delicious. My friend loved the chicharron and yucca. Great food at a great price. I will definitely come back again.“

We had Lamb Yellow Curry Stew and Pad Thai with Shrimp. The lamb was perfectly cooked in a rich yellow curry with potatoes and carrots. The meat was as tender as you can possibly imagine. The Pad Thai was mixed with a sweet sauce that was slightly sticky, which I like so the noodles adhere to each other. I don’t know if this is traditional, but really like Pad Thai like that.“

“My boyfriend and I always come to this place whenever we crave skewers. There's no fancy decoration, it's just like eating at a house of a Chinese family. But, their skewers are really good. I do love the eggplant and steamed bun slices. It's a small mom-and-pop restaurant. They always try to communicate with us in English as much as they can. And they always welcome us. One thing that I like is that it opens until 1AM. So whenever we are hungry and want spicy skewers, we always come to this place. I wish they keep this business as long as they can.“
