“We are from Connecticut, and during a recent trip to the Bay Area, we had the extreme good fortune to try the Afghan Awasana Kabob House. Oh my ... what an experience! The food was superb … an epicurean delight, but also plentiful, and very reasonably priced. The qabuli palow - a lamb shank dish was a standout, and the squash bolani - a stuffed flatbread was out of this world. The owner was very friendly during dinner, only to be surpassed by what happened after our dinner. Upon leaving, our car would not start. The owner offered to jump start our car. When that did not work, he offered us a ride back to the house where we were staying ... which we gratefully accepted. On the way, while we were thanking him profusely, he indicated that this was not an imposition as he routinely gave rides to his workers. I was moved to tears with his generosity. The Afghan Awasana Kabob House stimulated my palate, satiated my appetite, and above all, nourished my soul with renewed faith in the kindness of humanity. A truly memorable evening that will not soon be forgotten.“

Amy is amazing and she gave us sesame ball on the house to try. Great Chinese dessert. We ordered the lemon kumquat drinks. Will recommend for anyone who likes caffeine free drink. “Service is always quick and very friendly. Hadnt been here in AGES. Literally. Had the steak and eggs and asked for medium rare & overeasy eggs& potatoes . The steak in my picture looks a bit charred but once you cut into it, it was definitely medium rare so i was happy. Eggs were runny. Could not ask for more. Their portions are on the larger side. OH! OH! and their mimosas are worth it too.“

“This is definitely a whole in the wall kind of sushi place. It's located in a small shopping mall and the other shops are not as fancy. It only has 4 tables and can seat about 20 people. Go early to grab your seats before the lunch crowds. The price is reasonable and the sushi and sashimi are so fresh. Oh boy! I'll definitely come back. Everything was delicious!“

First of all, I was surprised by the amount of food, and the food was so delicious that I ate everything even though I was full. “This was a cute Thai restaurant I tried for the first time. The food was very good and they are able to adjust the spice level and offer different proteins (tofu, chicken, seafood, beef, duck) based on what you would like for you meal. We had the tom kha soup, panang curry, pad kee mao (drunken noodles), sweet basil entree, and mango sticky rice. All our entrees were a mild spice level and had tofu as the protein. They were all very flavorful and seasoned well so we found them to be very tasty. The best part was that the rice was served very warm with the mango so that a delicious end to our meal. Staff here is very friendly and quick. There is only indoor seating.“

The place looks alright since that’s how a Japanese restaurant typically looks like especially if it’s small.I was quite surprised how big the serving size is from the Chicken Teriyaki dinner plate (didn’t finish it). “My first time going. Thanks to a great friends recommendation. We all order serval dishes to try and share amongst us all. A great way to try many of their dishes and share with your friends. We were a group of 9 people including some kids. They loved the food. I recommended the tea salad was not expecting a combination of so many ingredients to taste completely different then ehat was on my plate the lightness of the dressings to the many textures then i expected. I loved our server she told us order 1 rice of each if you wanna try them and if you would like more ,I can bring you guys more. The coconut rice with any spicy dish balances out perfect not over pwoering another dish. I loved the salt n paper shrimp as well everything was made when we order and fresh and hot. I know I will be back with my child again.“

For those who like a bit of a crisp rice bottom on their stone bibimpap, they got it here. There's also a cute mini gochujang sauce bottle on the side so you can decide how much to add. Definitely a lot of Koreans eating here so you know it's good.“

“One of the finest Indian vegetarian food outlets in Fremont. The ambiance, more suited for takeout than for dine-in due to limited space, still adds to the overall charm of the place. I've indulged in their Shahi Paneer Korma, butter rotis, Chole Masala, and Onion Chilli Parathas extensively, and the taste and quality consistently impress. The pricing is also quite reasonable. And let's not forget Mr. Pavan, the wonderfully customer-friendly owner, who truly sets this establishment apart and makes it one of my favorite spots to enjoy a delicious meal here in the Bay Area. P.S. Not a complaint, just my personal observation: The 'Shahi Paneer Korma' here is not exactly what the name suggests, but more akin to 'Paneer Butter Masala' in disguise!“

The chili oil wontons were okay, but the meat was a bit dry on the inside. If you are looking for a place to eat xiaolongbao and noodles for a cheap price, Bing's is the place to go.“

“This is very much my go-to place to stop by when I need to visit my parent's house to run errands (feed outdoor cats, water plants, pick up packages, pick up mail, etc.) whenever they go on vacations, which coincidentally happens at least once or twice a month. First off, parking is actually very easy. There's a really big parking lot behind the restaurant for the entire strip mall. Second, it's a bit hard to find, but there's a sign and look around for it. It's a very cozy building, but also very clean, very nice, well-lit, basically everything is nice. I feel like this is what eating Chinese food as a Hobbit in the Lord of Rings would be like. Anyways, Chinese cuisine is very broad umbrella - the cuisine herespecifically appears to mostly be Southern Coastal Chinese classics. The owners are fluent in Mandarin, but I've also seen them speak a different Chinese language (not sure which one - probably Hokkien, Cantonese, or Hakka?) Anyways, they do all of these dishes very well. The standouts to me are the clay pots because the food comes out piping hot and stays hot - and the noodle soups, which are absolutely massive (you get SO MANY NOODLES) and which come in the same pots as the clay pots which means it also comes out piping hot and stays hot. Honestly, I'm shocked that more restaurants don't service noodle soups in this format because it's absolutely fantastic. I think the lifeblood of the restaurant is takeaway orders - you see a lot of people stop by and pick up food. But the dine-in experience is actually fantastic as well and it's a shame more people don't do it. The pricing is also pretty good, especially by 2024 Bay Area Chinese food standards. Hugely recommended for coastal Chinese food - it's probably one of THE best places in Fremont - maybe the entire Southeast Bay - to get it.“
