My guy friend and I have gone once for dining in and the second time when my guy friend and I got takeout. I can’t stop raving about the papaya salad! It’s a must try and I dream about it in my sleep it’s so good with the noodles and so spicy! Lol. I’m in love and drooling... o baby!!! Lol come here and eat, the other dishes are mediocre and the hot pot we tried the first time wa so so due to the broths we weren’t a fan of and the meat and seafood weren’t of good quality and had gone bad when we had gotten to them in the fridge. “This is by far the best Thai I've tasted in Sacramento. I would even say it's my favorite spot. When you dine here, you are given nearly royal treatment each and every time. “It was our first time dining here. We've decided to try this place because of the good reviews here on yelp and we were around the area. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent. There were two lady servers during the time we were there and both of them were accommodating and efficient. They kept asking us if everything was okay and if we needed anything. The place was nice and clean. We ordered red and green curry with rice. Both of the curry had the same ingredients of coconut milk, eggplant, bamboo, broccoli, and red bell pepper with just the paste difference. The red curry seemed more spicy and had peanut flavor (according to my husband) while the green curry tasted more coconut flavored. Their Thai milk tea was good too. The serving size was huge and for its price, I think it was worth it.“

“I was craving Lao food and happened to find this place in Sacramento! It has trendy interior and many locals seem to eat here with their families. Good for groups!Here's what I tried:+ Lao Sausage Plate (4/5): The sausage was snappy, but easily fell apart. It is quite spicy, but flavored really well. Pairs well with the jeow and sticky rice. Cute presentation too :)+ Crispy Chicken Skin (5/5): I looooved the texture of these! It was giving ASMR. These are lightly salted and really tasty! I do wish they gave a different sauce with this though.+ Khao Piak (4/5): If you've never had this before, imagine congee and udon had a baby with Lao spices. Very hearty and flavorful! But it can grow really salty after a while. The noodles were the perfect texture; you can tell they are handmade. They don't skimp on the chicken too!“

With veggie and chicken Tom kha soup, no seafood Tom kha, I opted for yellow curry chicken ($14) and brown rice ($3). One question I asked was if the curry was enough for two. His answer was perfect. Did take out and stuck to the basics: Chicken Pad Thai, which was good and more on the savory side (versus a little sweet); Tom Kha with shrimp, flavorful hot soup with coconut milk and shrimp were good quality, and the chicken yellow curry with potatoes and carrots. The curry was good although i thought the curry was just on the thin side where i prefer my curry to be a little more thick. We assumed steamed jasmine rice was to be included which we wish we did order but we ended up making steam rice at home. Curry without any rice doesn't seem right. good enough for a follow-up visit! Perhaps we'll dine there next time to get a more thorough experience with respects to the food and ambiance.“

I ordered medium spicy and it was perfect for me but a bit over spicy for my wife. But she loved it anyway! Goes great with the Beerlao from Laos. It's rich and hoppy for a lager like Singha, but crisper. If you love Pad Thai like I do, you'll need to give it a try. Finally, try the fried sweet potato appetizer. It's somewhat like tempura but less fluffy and it has a great hot and sweet flavor!“

“Food was absolutely delicious and great customer service! I recommend getting their raw oysters, its big in size, absolutely worth it! We were also their last customer of the night and as we finished and walked out of the restaurant, the owners were getting ready to clean up and were preparing to closed, I tried to go back in with my daughter as she needed to use the bathroom. The owner was nice enough to reopened the door back up just for us. We definitely will be coming back soon.“

“This place is fantastic! Really really good yellow coconut curry chicken, it's our family favorite!!! The red curry and Thai fried rice with shrimp are also quite yummy! You can see and really taste the fresh ingredients they use! The inside dining is not that big, but it's clean and brightly decorated, we usually get takeout but be aware the wait even for takeout can sometimes get to over an hour so order early! The staff are also friendly and attentive! Don't miss out on this gem!“

“Several years ago I went to this place and ordered a dish. Apparently there was a miscommunication because the wrong dish was brought out to me. It was spicy catfish. I didn't want to complain and the food looked and smelled amazing so I went with it. It was delicious! I've been ordering it ever since. I also recommend the Pad Thai, papaya salad, Crazy Chicken, and Tom Yum. Go and enjoy!“
