“Do not sleep on this place. The food is ? and it’s a small local business. Highly recommend their burgers and donuts but their menu is super diverse. Other things I like are the lo mein and boba drinks. The owners are super nice and the atmosphere is quaint in the best way. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: They have salads, donuts, green juices, etc.Wheelchair accessibility: Can roll up into the restaurant easily“

“Nutella cronut was amazing! The Vietnamese coffee was also good. Service was a little slow for just 2 customers in the morning, but I think it's more due to the cashier/server was still undergoing some training. She was polite and courteous though. I'd still go back.“
“Love seeing this truck at various events around LA! Definitely one of the best vegan trucks out there. Spicy Chick'n Sandwich - AMAZING! The patty was a seasoned, breaded, and fried oyster mushroom. Literally so so delicious! Perfectly filing and a substantial meal. Can't wait to see them again to try more of their menu!“

“Original Bone Broth ?It’s hard to dispute the fact that Los Angeles’ Koreatown is the mecca for Korean food in the United StatesI’ve never lived close enough to explore it well but did this past week sampling soy marinated raw crabs, short rib stews, and multi-colored banchanMy favorite however was the traditional ox bone soup. In the SF Bay Area, I most often order the more flavorful galbi tang (short rib soup) but the sul lung tang is as close to Korea and the go-to in LAI’ve been wanting to try Han Bat Shul Lung Tang for close to a decade and it did not disappointJust a pinch of salt, plentiful scallions and a side of kimchi and rice made the perfect meal combinationThe broth is milky white (side note I also tried the clear sul lung tang at Young Dang) and it’s so full of rich beefiness you can easily tell it’s made over hoursParking isn’t as bad as I’ve always feared in LA with plentiful lots and parking structures in Koreatown that makes it a destination worthy of your time? Salgoki Sul Lung Tang $20 ~ brisket / Seokum $20 ~ mixed / Naejang $20 ~ Intestines, Tripe, Spleen?Hanbat Sul Lung Tang (Los Angeles, CA)Seating is indoor only and limited metered street parking is available nearby. Credit cards are accepted.“

“If you're interested in trying popular Vietnamese entrees outside of pho, head over to Be U! This woman-owned eatery is located in a prime hipster Echo Park neighborhood, and to me, it's a perfect blend of my culture superimposed on Los Angeles's colorful cityscape. The menu ranges from homey comfort-food entrees to popular street bites, and some new-age fusion items as well. Atmosphere: 2/5 As a take-out-only restaurant located on Hoover Street, there's no seating and it faces traffic. If only there were some colorful plastic chairs (like the ones you see in SE Asia) - the vibes would be immaculate. However, you're either standing and eating or taking the food back to your home. Service: 3/5 Wasn't bad but wasn't warm or friendly either - service was okay Flavors: 5/5 Highly recommend: -Banh mi trung op la (banh mi with fried egg): homemade mushroom pate is delicious, it inspired me to make some at home. The egg was crispy to the heavens. -Rau ma juice: in English known as pennyworth, extremely refreshing, herbal, and will cool you down on a hot day. -Tofu goi cuon (spring rolls): The peanut sauce offered with this was so yummy! The spring rolls were super fresh and all the herbs complemented the flavors. Parking: 2/5 Street parking only, very limited Pricing: 3/5 Definitely not cheap for Vietnamese food, however, LA is a high-cost-of-living area so I understand that the owner needs to maintain overhead costs and pay her employees a fair wage! Expect to pay $4-5 higher than what you're used to paying in the OC/SJ/SGV. The reason why I rate it low is because the portions are significantly smaller than what you'd get at a traditional sit down Vietnamese restaurant Overall I recommend Be U if you're unfamiliar with Vietnamese food outside of mainstream pho, but if you're willing to drive to SGV, Garden Grove/Westminster, you'll be truly immersed in the cuisine and culture“

“One bite and you'll get why this place has so many fans. How they get so much flavor into their kebabs is a mystery to me. It's garlicky and salty and there seems to be some kind of chili and maybe a hint of citrus? Whatever it is, it's delicious. And while the kebabs are clearly the stars here, the salads are also not to be missed, especially the Shirazi. Really though, it doesn't matter what you get, at Mini Kabob it's all going to be exceptionally good. Enjoy!“

“Saw and heard about this place from friends and YouTube. It peaked my curiosity so when I had the chance to go, I grabbed it. 5/5…did not disappoint!!! The food was great (especially the mushroom salpicao) and the atmosphere was very laid back…lived up to the hype!!! Also helps that their hype-woman/co-owner Jackie gave a her own personal touch all night. We will definitely make the trip here every time we travel from Denver!!!“

“A cute little diner stashed away inside The Delphi. We went for a quick brunch. The atmosphere is great, calming and homey, and the servers were very polite and apt. The food was okay. My mom enjoyed the chicken sandwich. I had the English breakfast which was filling, but basic. I was interested in the Grilled Avocado, but it came out as normal and not grilled at all...It was still an enjoyable time, we will definitely be back to try lunch and dinner.“

“Every time we eat there, we are impressed by the overall quality of the food and service. Chef Arango delivers high quality food in every dish. Each item is extremely fresh and well prepared. You can also tell that the family really appreciates every single customer. I can't say enough positive things about them. I am honestly thankful to have a such a solid Indian food option right in the neighborhood.“

“I was in LA a couple of weeks ago on business and found this spot the day before leaving and that's my biggest regret. Wish we'd found it the first day we we're there I'd have been eating there everyday. The food and atmosphere are excellent and a live DJ playing music we all grew up on (can you dig it ✊?). The purple (grape) kool-aid was a blast from the past fo so.“

“We have been 3 times over the past few months and have been satisfied every time. They have a nice wide range of toppings not usually found at most other joints, we haven’t experimented that much yet but certainly aiming to try something a little more exotic next time.Def recommend giving them a shot. Great location, staff on point, pizza is very solid. Also most importantly they provide at a very reasonable price point. There’s a lot of good pizza in town now and this team is very competitive with their value. You won’t be disappointed“

“This is the second time I ordered a sandwich at LA Brisket this week! I can't believe more people aren't praising this joint! It is in a small mall/hallway in Chinatown. They have a few tables in the hallway. It's not the most convenient place to eat because of the limited seating and the exterior doors were open (causing a cold breeze). I was told by other guest that the doors can't be closed because it will lock. In short, it is easier to just order pick up and eat elsewhere. Anyways, let's get to the good part... the food. I've had both the 101 and 405 sandwiches. Both are so juicy and full of flavor with great combinations of cheese and sauce. The bread is perfectly is crispy on the outside so it hold its structure well for a sandwich but warm and soft on the inside. The brisket is the star of the show. Just the right amount of smoke and fat. It falls apart perfectly without being too soggy. The truffle fries were good. They were well done and very crispy. I'm hooked!“

“We stopped in from Ohio and ate, and it was the best chicken parm we have ever had. We got the chicken parmesian poutine and the Philly cheese steak sandwich and split it, and there was more than enough for two people. I would definately return here.“

“Kimchi Cheese Bokkeumbap (Kimchi Cheese Fried Rice) ReviewI've been on a quest to find the best kimchi fried rice in Koreatown, and after two visits to HanEuem, I can confidently say it belongs on the shortlist. The only downside? It's only available for lunch! At just $15, this dish is almost perfect. The rice is perfectly cooked, the kimchi is bursting with flavor, the cheese is deliciously gooey, and the fried egg and dried seaweed on top are perfect finishing touches. The service was excellent on both visits despite the restaurant being busy. The ambiance is cozy and nicely decorated, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal.If you love kimchi, cheese, and fried rice, you should definitely give this a try. And after your meal, take a short two-minute walk across Western Ave (just on the other side of the street) to Bumsan Organic Milk Bar for a delightful cold treat. I highly recommend the chocolate and Korean coffee swirl!“

“Google says “Well being tiop #22 Natto, a traditional Japanese food made from fermented soybeans, may have been discovered by accident during the Yayoi period (300 BC-AD 300). One theory is that natto originated from the spontaneous fermentation of spilled soybeans from the straw that was used to cover the floor of houses at that time. Another theory is that natto was accidentally discovered in 7th century Japan when Prince Shotoku (574-622 AD) accidentally discovered natto from cooked soybeans wrapped in rice straw”. This is misinformation, Japanese took Korean’s Cheonggukjang which has 1000 years of history , and marketed as health food globally. “Their food was really really good and tasty. The owner is very nice which is actually a family owned restaurant. We were greeted by the owner, they're actually husband and wife who cooks the food. It reminded me of my grandma's arroz caldo. I was surprised by the price too. They also have all kinds of breakfast selection which is also really good. We got the longsilog as well.. I would definitely go back to this when I visit the area again. The arroz caldo with tokwat baboy only cost $8!! The container also hugeee! So you def got a lot for cheap cheap“

“The empanadas are delicious, a great size and value. Crispy on the outside and nice and warm on the inside. They have many options from meat to vegetarian and vegan. The personnel was very friendly providing us with plenty of condiments. The outside area was comfortable to eat at, in front of the street but most people take their empanadas to go.“
