“Our favorite neighborhood place. Pizza is delicious and fun. Everything on the menu is good. Really good. Smash burger night? Still good. And don't get me started on those morning bagels. Wow. Both cannoli and olive oil cake are great... Listen, this place is great, ok?My recommendation is to come early, grab a beer and a pizza, and then head on to a movie at the Balboa. What a fantastic combo.“

This time we sat in the super comfortable dining area by the bar, and we talked about how comfortable and elegant the restaurant feels. Fresh cutlery for each course, complimentary small cup of consommé, homemade Yorkshire Pudding (?). The Artichokes were divine. “The best birria tacos in sf hands down. Birria tacos are supposed to be CRISPY and these are crispy!! if you eat the tacos there you get them nice and hot with the delicious melting cheese. i love birria, i get it at every taco place I go to, i even had it in mexico but it's really the best at La vaca birria. and plus is halal so it's not cooked in lard. when we walked in people were telling us how good the food was; I swear if you try this place you won't be disappointed. Perfect place to eat for cinco de mayo!! please try this place, it will be your new go-to, you will never be able to eat birria any where else. The staff was noticeably overwhelmed, they definitely weren't equipped for how many people walked in. but i would highly recommend!!“

“Zapatos (their version of burritos) are great. Beer selection is wide and overall, the vibe is pretty nice here. However, the front staff really want to leave by closing time; meaning, they start passively asking people to leave an hour+ before closing time. Not normally a stickler for service, but I experienced being shooed out on multiple occasions so I thought it might be worth mentioning that FYI not the most hospitable.“

“We hosted a merchant event and the prices are extremely reasonable. The food was great. Lots of veg salads and two veg sausage options along with delicious wide variety of other sausages. Owners are great and working hard along with the rest of the staff. Easy to plan our event. Thanks Danny!“

“This is more about the management side of things. I honestly didn’t have the BEST experience with them on my last order. BUT, they went out of there way to fix things. They are new in Oakland, just getting the operation together and I’m happy to see them there. They aren’t the cheapest but, I don’t want the Dominoes or Pizza Hutt experience (or quality) and if I pay a little extra for food, I want good service to follow. In the end, they offered great service. I’m impressed.“

“What a total cool brewery to hang out at. Food really good and great IPA's. The atmosphere is outstanding with indoor and outdoor seating. It is right next to (literally) Chase Center where the Warriors play and other concerts etc. perform.“

“Very chill spot for some really good wings. The wings melt right off the bone and there's lots of great sauces to choose from. My favorite is the buffalo sauce, it has a good tang and spice to it. Second favorite is also the mango habanero which I've noticed has a varied spice level from the 2 times I've tried it. Lemon pepper and garlic Parmesan were okay flavors. The beers/ciders/sours are from local places around the bay which is cool too and they taste great. 5 wings I think is the right amount to fill you up.“

“What used to be the old hamburger Mary's is now called The Willows it's a fun inviting friendly place where you can take a first date or meet a group of friends close to other bars and restaurants so it's a great beginning of the evening place as well as the end of the evening stop off quiet but “

“Came here after work. Lots of tv. Have outdoor seatings and some tables inside but you can also seat at the bar area. They have free popcorn. They wr code for the restaurant next door but they are okay for you to bring outside food. As for the drinks, they have beers, cocktails, and wine or take a shot if you want too as well. They have a pool table and jukebox if you want to play music. The staffs are nice but they can get busy once the place started to get busy. Prices are decent/average.“
