“We stopped by on a Sunday because we were following the SmackBurger truck but were pleasantly surprised by Humble Sea! The space is very nice with a huge outdoor section with string lights and tons of tables and a nice little dog area.The beers themselves are high quality. I'm a big sour beer guy and they didn't have any fruited sours but they did have their Shoalmates. Its good, very good. Seriously, I wish I picked some up but will have to go back and get more!“

“Great ambience, friendly staff. Factory tour every Sunday at 3pm. Outdoor and indoor seating available- perfect for sunny weather. Wide draft beer selection - IPAs, Pils, stouts. No ciders on tap sadly, but they do have Gowan's Graveston bottled cider :)“

“It was a Rainy night, and there was lots of laughter. Bar staff, knows their beers and made great suggestions. Remember, this is a Pub, so there are food, kids, games, incredible beverages and of course... Windows to view into the malt room!“

“Alameda Island Brewery is a great place to hang out with friends or socialize. They have a big dining area with lots of space and one big screen TV to watch the game. The dining area was nice and open due to all the big open windows. They also have a large selection of draft beers to choose from which I like. They brew their own beer as well which I have yet to try. They have some flights they can offer. I did try a sampler of a unique beer that was 5% called 'Sarap' meaning good in Tagalog. It was on draft. It's a hint of calamansi in it. It was actually good! I will have to get that again next time. The guy at the counter was cool and friendly.Looks like they share the space with the Fikscue Craft BBQ next door as long as you buy their beers. Which we did! Prices are decent as well. Not a bad place to hang out, and just drink and chill. I know I will be back here again!“

“I haven't been here for many years. It's always been a Belgian beer bar. I'm not sure when Sante Adairius took it over but they've pretty much kept it the same as it was, in a good way. As I tend to drink IPA's, I was happy that they also had some on the menu. I tried the Left and Leaning, a non hazy that I really enjoyed. My friend had a very properly poured St. Bernardus (see photo). The service was great. Also on hand is a lovely, friendly Irish Setter. It was very fun when he visited our table. There's a nice $5 parking lot next door with an attendant. This alone would bring me back :)“

“We got the cheeseburger, cheese steak, fries, and corn fritters. I really didn't expect everything to taste THIS good but I was so pleasantly surprised!! Everything was so tasty and the drinks were even better!!! I LOVED the house made ranch and put that on everything. The owner and staff were also super kind - will def be coming back. They have odd hours so it's hard to catch when they're open but definitely worth it.“

“My favorite brewery in Oakland and it’s not even close. Large and diverse selection of beers such as IPA’s, malty ( schwarzbier, dopplebock, brown ale, etc), and light beers. the inside can be kind of tight but they have plenty of outdoor seating and the upstairs which has more seating and an entertainment area for kids. The customer service and the owners are always good people and there is food trucks always outside when I’m there which are quality as well.The only thing I can recommend is to watch your cars in the area. It’s still Oakland but I have yet to see a break in of my car or others but I would take valuables out. Other then that come visit this brewery, enjoy the amazing beers and good people.“

“This place is so good! I stopped here for a quick breakfast and was not disappointed. I ordered a Lavendar Latte with Almond milk and the Bagel with Cheddar, Egg, and Butter. I opted for the everything bagel. The sandwich was the perfect blend of salty butteriness in combination with the egg and cheese. The latter was so cute and absolutely delicious! This coffee shop is a great choice!“

“My new favorite brewery in Oakland. Easy to find parking, nice location, fun and ample seating arrangements, and every beer on tap was delicious. I'm still on my fruited beer kick and the Water Boy and Nordic Jam were super well balanced and easy drinking. Friendly staff and killer burgers next door at Lovely's. Can't wait to go back“

“Hands down the best spot to have a beer and talk with friends, neighbors, or strangers. It's not a large space, but always manages to have enough room to be more than comfortable. The ambiance is warm and inviting with a clean, minimalist look. The beer is stellar, and they always keep variety on tap. Hoi has become an anchor for the neighborhood.“

“We’ve been in multiple times, enough to almost be “regulars”. Every experience has been better than the last. The food is amazing. Michael really kills it with all of his regular menu items and totally knocks it out of the park with his specials! Oh, and the beer…??!! Delicious. We love that we can always take a few of our favorites home with us to enjoy between visits. Super friendly staff, we love Sophia and Chris and look forward to getting to know all the new folks too. “Stopped by midweek and this place did not disappoint. Easy ordering via phone, prompt service, and delicious food. We got the Blue Heat 50/50 style and the Ramen 50/50 plus a strawberry boba. Both hot dogs were perfect with the right amount of cheese pull and loaded with flavor. We also got the Sriracha mayo which I highly recommend. Boba with fantastic; not too sweet with good flavor and the right amount of chew texture.“

“The handsome fella with the bowling shirt treated me and my friends so well even tho we came in the last 45 minutes. He let us have our drinks and enjoy the ambiance. He specifically told is not to rush . He made me want to come back just based on his energy, and the drinks were fire too!“

“Good place to stop by and grab a healthy salad on your way to catch your flight. I had the Super Green Salad with Tofu. I liked the fresh ingredients and the dressing. There were plenty of other ready to go salads to choose from. If you arrive early for your flight, you can take your salad and walk over and catch the view of the bay nearby. If I am ever catching another flight out of the Oakland Airport again, I'll make sure and try another one of their salads.“

They don’t do the whole sugar cane bone like some high end vegan restaurants but personally the flavor and texture are so good I don’t think it’s missing a thing.The vegan pizza varies from okay to good depending on what you get. “Food is a bit over priced in my opinion. What you see on the menu isn't what you receive sometimes I recommend not to get the Japchae. The noodles are actually thicker like Chinese Glass Noodles instead of vermicelli I do suggest the Rose Tteokboki spicy enough with a hint of sweetness, savory and creaminess. The boba here is pretty good for the price and they come in these cute disposable plastic cans shaped like sodas. Service was good if you order pickup or on the machines you just show or tell a worker your number or name and they hand it to you and voila! Dining in is a different experience it feels more of like a Korean High school vibe with trays and having to sort your own finished dishes and cleaning up after your self. I truly love this place and I've seen the changes Kimchi Garden has been through for many years and they just keep on bringing out their best.“

“Tap Hause at UC Berkeley is always my spot for sure! Drinks are top-notch and won’t break the bank. The bartenders, whether students or not, are all about great service. Absolutely love the abundance of pool tables and the vibe is always spot on. Perfect spot for a chill night out. Highly recommend!“
