“My friend, Mike, who lives nearby with his wife, raved about it so much that my BF and I decided to come after a short trip to Marin. It was everything that he described and more. It was fantastic! Excellent food and atmosphere. Will definitely add to my list of favorites and will recommend to my Palo Alto friends!“

“A beautiful blend of flavors and textures. I'm giving a 4 because it's my first time there and I'd like to see what's next on their seasonal menu.I went here for my birthday so my media has no labels. I was pleasantly surprised with each of the dish that we had. Each item had their own uniqueness to it and I love how original the flavor combos were. I personally like going to restaurants that have an assembly operation in front of you because it's cool to see how these dishes beautifully come together.I will say the dessert was a very refreshing yet satisfying touch. Hibiscus ice cream on top of a rose apple with a buttermilk foam. Like...just wow.Highly recommend for a special occasion or just treat yourself. Well done chef, I'll be coming back.“

“Absolutely fantastic! The lemon ricotta pancakes are to die for. Literally! I'd take a bullet for them. Their business model and employee pay structure truly is inspiring and stands out in our Capitalistic land of greed and self-centeredness. Oh, and full brunch menu on a Friday afternoon?? Yes Please!“

“Hands down THE best croissant in San Francisco. But they have so much more than that. Pates, quiches, desserts - and they all look so Parisian. Walking in is an exercise in self control. But the good news is, if you do cave in, it’s worth it!“

“It’s been 4 years since we last ate at Heirloom and it’s just as good if not better than before. This little charming place with its tall ceilings and old timey aesthetics reminds me of New Orleans. The menu is constantly changing to reflect the season and has something for everyone. The wine menu also has many wines by the glass and are generous pours. The presentation and preparation of the food was a delight and delicious. Service was also great and was quick to offer tastes of wines when I wasn’t sure about which one to order. The 3 course tasting was $100 with excellent wine pairing and could be ordered even if others were ordering a la cart. I’m always surprised Heirloom doesn’t receive more accolades, but sometimes it’s nice to have a gem like this keep its neighborhood feel.“

“Was a tad skeptical at first because this restaurant was located in the lobby of the Hyatt and because I sat in the lounge instead of the main dining room, but could not be more impressed. Service was fantastic, atmosphere was incredible with live piano performance, the cocktails were deep, complex, interesting, and innovative, and the food was astounding.Of all things at a French restaurant I chose to have the burger as my main entree and it very well may have actually been the best burger I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone staying at the Hyatt or close by!“

“One of our most memorable dining experiences ever. The creativity on the presentation and the ingredients were mind blowing. We also tried the wine pairing which was on point with all the dishes, and would definitely recommend to anyone doing the tasting menu. The service also was impeccable, with zero complaints. We will definitely be back when we return to San Francisco.“

“One65 was an amazing discovery on our trip to San Francisco. Having spent the first half of our life in Montréal, Québec, Canada where it was hard to find a bad restaurant, we were absolutely amazed by this Bistro which looks more like a high end dining experience. The menu online & the photos attracted us to this location but we were amazed by the well timed service, the crisp white tablecloths, the table setting and the pleasant and calm atmosphere. My choices of charcuterie platter was perfectly sized; the chicken & the pork rillettes where a wonderful surprise. My husband had an onion tart with the crust as perfect as they get & which I envied. He loved his halibut, moist and tender and I raved over my grilled half lobster, so tender that I found myself munching on the shell parts as well. My bread pudding was not of overwhelming size & perfectly flavored. Don chose the Affogato (scoop of vanilla gelato « drowned » with a shot of hot espresso). We wanted to go back today but they are closed on Sundays.?“

“O by Claude Le Tohic is a Michelin-starred restaurant, nestled on the fifth floor of ONE65, is the crown jewel of Chef Claude Le Tohic's culinary empire. It offers a multi-course tasting menu, with both five and nine-course options available. Each dish is a work of art, a symphony of flavors and textures designed to tantalize the taste buds. Imagine starting with a generous trio of caviar, each paired with a different type of freshly baked bread, whetting your appetite for the culinary journey ahead. Every element on the plate complements the others, creating a harmonious and unforgettable experience. The desserts are unforgettable and the menu has a large list of non-alcoholic mocktails. If you're a foodie, a Francophile, or simply a discerning diner looking for an unforgettable night out, O by Claude Le Tohic is a must-try. Be prepared to be impressed by the innovative cuisine, the impeccable service, and the luxurious ambiance.“

“We've been coming to Absinthe for years and the food, service and wine are consistently fantastic. This time we sat in the super comfortable dining area by the bar, and we talked about how comfortable and elegant the restaurant feels. It is not cheap, but we don't go out very often and we know it will always be delicious so it's worth it to us.“

“Can't wait to go back! We went during SF restaurant week. We did the 4 course tasting menu with the wine pairing and it was so delicious. My friend tried different plates and I got to try some of his dishes too. Highlights Buttermilk fried Chicken, Dungeness crab toast, salmon, prime rib (+7 and worth it) and the Meyer lemon posset. Service was great. I love the restaurant space, you're not on top of other tables like some places.“

“As an Asian I normally don’t go for sandwiches. This place, however, has hands down the tastiest sandwiches in town. Bread is light, warm and fresh. All the food they offer is of quality. I accidentally stumbled into this cafe when I had some errands downtown and I am glad to have discovered this little gem.“
“If there is one positive thing came from the pandemic, it is Philippe Delarue’s ingenious idea to open up a bake shop here in front of his flat. It’s one of my favorite places to invite friends on Saturday or Sunday morning. You can’t go wrong with any of his goods, but my personal favorite is the bread pudding. Delarue will generously add his “adults only” whiskey sauce upon ordering. He is too humble to bring up the story himself, but ask him about his journey here – including stints in Le Mans, Paris, London, and Montreal. I can’t locate the article anymore but I think he once had the honor of baking for the queen! ☺️“

“A bite of Paris in the heart of Downtown SF. Breads are fresh, meats are plenty, and the love in the preparation of the food is felt at each table. The menu was as joy to browse over to see what I will come back to get next. Thank you Chef Michael for the wonderful meal!“

“Andrew and Leo never let me down! Once again, the meal and service were excellent! I didn't realize they had happy hour on Saturdays, too, so that was a nice surprise, since we got there early enough to take advantage of that, too, before our delicious dinner. I hadn't ever had the Aquitaine Royale before -- yum! The cauliflower "beignets" were the best ever. My polenta with mushrooms were the perfect blend and texture, and my friend loved the steak frites with polenta fries substituted for the usual frites. Even as a non-steak eater, I could see that the steak was done right. And she was very happy with her meal, which was what mattered to me.“

“We opted for the Restaurant Week menu. We tried the beef tartare, both entrees of the fish and pork chop (shared) and both desserts. The food was delicious, the portions huge, and the service was great (quick and attentive). We would definitely go again.“

“This is an old-school, fabulous place. They have re-opened after the Pandemic and the menu is not quite as French as it was — kind of California Country French. But everything is every bit as delicious as ever and not expensive at all. You can't beat the service and you must always include the French Onion Soup.“

Vegetables are uniformly wonderful; the bread is perfectly warm and toasted with just the right amount of butter, every time!. Everything is fresh! “Heaven for this vegetarian! Veggies on their tartine gourmand is heaven and $10 and I didn't finish it all. The bread was firm enough to finish it for an afternoon snack. My partner loved the breakfast Sammy and the fresh fruit that came with it is a great deal!Vegetarian options: Even for delivery you can name special requests which is rare so no problem to take the goat cheese off the tartine and make it vegan.Dietary restrictions: They take special request and offer simple but delicious options with fresh delicious grilled veggies and hearty tasty soft bread“

“We had the brick oven roasted chicken, very good, moist tender, but nothing special to the seasoning. Takes an hour to prepare, so plan on a cocktail or two with appetizers. Shoestring potatoes and white asparagus did it for us. Would definitely come back.“
