We've never dined in, but we've done takeout multiple times. This place does truly traditional Human food, which is to say that if it has a spicy pepper ?️ by it, be prepared for the heat! For a base starch, we love their chow mein and fried rice. Their veggie spring rolls are a great appetizer. We've lived in the area for quite some time, and just now tried Hunan Taste. This spot has been here for over 30 years! We tried the onion cake, meat pie, kung pao beef, and curry eggplant. Warning, make sure you like spicy if they ask to make it spicy cause it has HEAT. Flavor was good on everything, my favorite being the meat pie and the eggplant. We will come back to try more dishes on the less spicy side. Service was quick and always checked in on us.

This place was a little out of the way and looked like it was right out of a time capsule. When we entered we were seated right next to a window that overlooked the kitchen which is always an excellent sign. It means that they don't hide anything and are proud of what they make.
