“As a devoted worshiper of Sushi, I had to try out this little spot right in the middle of the extremely lively and crowded food court area at Westfield Mall. It has some strong competition with Panda Express, Chipotle, Philly Cheesestakes all squeezed next door. I gravitated towards this establishment because of the eye-catching sushi photos on display. The prices are high, some rolls about $16, but it looked fresh. I took a leap of faith and ordered a Popcorn Roll and my favorite go to, The Philadelphia Roll, love me that cream cheese. Don't judge. The portions were large, it was enough to satisfy me and my boyfriend. The fish itself was very fresh and high quality. Very generous portions of cream cheese, and Avocados. Loved the fried longostino on the Popcorn Roll. I admit they could have been better but for a mall location it was way better than expected. The employees were very nice too and gave me tons of napkins and soy sauce. I appreciate that. I'd definitely come back!“

With each visit, I’m always greeted kindly and treated like family by the staff, and they show a lot of patience with my annoying requests. They serve the freshest fish, and they offer something I’ve never seen at other poke locations, which is the sweet salmon. That has easily become a go-to protein selection for me. Two young kids work in the counter in tandem with each other.My whole experience here was great. I have to say that for $17 getting somewhere in the vicinity of like a pound to 2 lb of rice and protein and poke and all the toppings, and the sauces, the flavor combination is just incredible. I cannot stress how fresh the albacore, tuna, and salmon are. I mean you can literally see, taste, and experience the Great quality.For the local tourist, day trip person, someone who wants to experience downtown Burbank, anyone passing through, this is definitely a place where you get your money's worth.Very casual atmosphere, shorts and t-shirt type vibe.Parking: street only. San Fernando has a 90-minute limit per space. Be careful, some spots or 10 minute only. There are two free structures closer to Orange Grove that are Unlimited for about 22 hours. No parking 3am-5am. They only have one outdoor table unfortunately, but poke is something you grab and go anyways. We ended up taking this to a street down (Black Elephant Coffee) and eating our meal with our lattes.The portions feel small but it's really actually just dense. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful, but I do wish that they gave you more than just 2 add ons. You have to ask about extra costs, because they won't tell you that up front, nor are there signs.Overall a solid poke place!“

Panda Bento has taken over the location and although we were sad to see Joy Hawaiian gone, we decided to give Panda Bento a shot and we are happy we did.The food was fresh and delicious! “I have been a customer since 2021, I used to eat the luau fries a minimum of 4 times a week! the food is so amazing and the sauce is next level! Next time I plan to try their egg foo yung or fried tilapia, which looked perfectly fried, too. Quick service after the lunch rush with even a little parking available. They have all the quick-service options, too, but I didn't want all those carby dishes. Clean seating area and nice staff!“
