“Great place for date night or out with friends. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about their menu and even suggested some specials we weren't aware of. The drinks were great, I had a yuzu margarita and my husband had a whiskey neat. We ordered a variety of food like salad, filet mignon, their specialty sashimi, and some nigiro. The fish was incredibly fresh and the steak was melt in your mouth! Definitely will be back.“

“Such a great neighborhood spot! From outside it give you a nice house feeling and then when you walk in your met with a bar, music and walls filled in Polaroid dog pictures ☺️ Made it to happy hour and had a beer and chili cheese fries. Really good food and service.“

“First timer here, our kids live in SO and sometimes we need to pick up our own lunch before heading over to their house. We wanted to try something new and we're having a hard time finding some places closed on Sundays. This pooped up on YELP and had good reviews and was in a reasonable range from their home. And who doesn't love a good bagel?!!! We arrived and found street parking, seemed like a good sign on Ventura. When you step in it is a bit confusing on who's ordered and who is waiting to pick up their food. But once we got in the right line we ordered fairly quickly, and I needed help with the ordering being a newbie. The clerk was super patient and very helpful, which I really appreciated. We waited about 10-ish minutes for our sandwiches to be made, as they have a large crew working away behind the counter. There's nowhere inside to actually eat, so I guess it's basically take-away? When we got back to the house and opened our boxes we could see how huge these sandwiches were and honestly I bet my husband and could have probably shared one, I definitely couldn't finish mine. But it was super delicious and those salted cucumbers so crisp really added a nice extra layer to the sandwich. I would definitely go back here, especially since we come down to LA multiple times a year, maybe we will order ahead next time so to just pick-up ready.“

“The table side preparation of guacamole was fabulous. The huge sundae for dessert was a hit with everyone. Can't find ground beef tacos many places and these were the best we ever had. Every dish was wonderful and the salsa was devoured by all. Loved it! Rice and beans were perfect. All served at the right temperature. Loved the margaritas.“

Everything is so flavorful, ever bite is proportionate, just enough “grease”, and great portion to. The nata pastry is so delicious, we’ve had some in Portugal before and was even better than there! “We came here on a whim, after finding The Daily Outpost mysteriously closed on a Friday evening. Umigame is so good! Everything, from the poke bowl, salmon teriyaki, brussels sprouts, and edamame, were perfect! High quality food beautifully prepared. Very good service also. We will definitely be back.“

“Really good seating! Great pesto sandwich. Wonderful new chill coffee shop. Staff was eager to please. Once they iron out a few things (like having iced tea for non-coffee drinkers and hot days), they're gonna have lines out the door to get a table. I'm an NYC expat and I do my best work on my laptop at a coffee shop. Can't wait to come back and try the coffee!“

“This is an adorable little coffee shop with a lovely patio, nice patrons, and the cherry danish is oh-so-delicious! I felt unhurried and people and some dogs congregate congenially due to the overall ambience there. Coffee's are excellent too!“

“Coffee done well- customizable but doesn't need to be because I think between their classics and customizable there's something for everyone. Not much space to sit inside but only waited about 5 minutes for my latte on a busy Saturday. Horchata latte is great but does need to he stirred often. Would get again“

“I went to this place because a friend recommended it, he told me the pizzas here were very good and he was right. The pizzas here are delicious. It was my first time here and I would recommend this place to anyone. It is a bit far from where I live, but to pay and eat a delicious pizza like this one is worth the drive. If you are a pizza lover, I would definitely recommend this place. The staff is friendly and you can see how they prepare the pizza. The place is small but they also have outdoor seating. We got one large cheese and one large veggie pizza.“

They were so so kind, they greeted everyone who walked through with a huge smile on their faces and were kind and helpful if we asked questions. I came on a Sunday so I unfortunately couldn't see the little shop they're next to but, the coffee shop itself is still so cute with big windows & plenty of seating. We got some pastries. The savory chorizo-filled type pastry was so delicious! Their cold-brew is fantastic!! Drinks are not that sweet so if you're into sweet stuff, beware. My friend wished her latte was sweeter. I got a cold brew latte without sweetener and it was the best cold brew I've had in LA. The two gentlemen from earlier deserve a raise!!!“

“I love Italian food and this place did not disappoint. I entered the restaurant thru the back, where they have very limited parking. There's more parking across the street. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with all the wonderful smells of Italian cuisine. I personally love the pesto gnocchi. I also recommend having their lemon drop martini. It hits just the right spot after a long work week. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Very attentive and can definitely recommend something that you will absolutely love. I will be back with friends and family. I found a new spot that I can't wait to tell everyone about.“
