“We got seated quick and was greeted by our server. Super nice. They have 5 TVs and a nice ambiance. My husband got the appetizer nachos as his meal, he doesn't eat meat so our server suggested swapping out with vegetarian patties. He ate it clean. I had the classic burger (smashed like) no mustard or cheese. I added mushrooms and it came with fries. I love my burger, a little messy, but good. They have a wide selection of drinks. Outside and inside seating. Only thing we didn't love was parking, I would just park on the street in the neighborhood across the street. They have a lot of Yelp bannered everywhere. Highly rated. “The food was amazing! I ordered the corn ribs and the chicken sandwich. Ribs were incredible. The Chili lime mayo with the corn was amazing. The chicken sandwich was also delicious. The fried chicken piece is huge. The bun is way too small, and it's not a bad thing. Definitely best chicken sandwich I had . Chick fill a , Popeyes, etc. have nothing on Le Coupe.The only bad thing is that having a small dining area they should not allow dogs inside , maybe not large dogs. The couple sitting next to me had a large dog with them. I had to eat fast and leave because the dog was shaking the dust off from his fur, and it was so close to me that I could smell it and for sure it was landing on my food. That definitely ruined my experience there. Also, I had to ask for napkins and all the other guests from when they sat down and got their food got napkins, utensils, and water . I only got the napkins because I've asked for it“

“I placed a very custom order that had not been done before. I ordered a Turkey burger with mustard, chicken hotlink, chili, cheese and sautéed onions. My wife got the vegan hot dog with cheese and Duane gave her some vegan chili. We both loved our food. I finished it all and so did she. Duane filmed a video while he was making my order. “If you are in the mood for burgers and beer this is the place to be! I had the double smash burger and my bf had the surf and turf burger. Both were delicious. They cook the burgers their own way (either medium or medium well) but they are delicious nonetheless! We had two beer flights with 8 different beers and they were all amazing- and I've never had that experience with a beer flight where I have liked all the beers. Staff is super friendly and attentive. If I had to critique anything it would be the music which was a lot of Weeknd and Future type stuff. We prefer hip hop. But other than that, would definitely come back when I am in Compton and so glad this place exists!“

Got the backyard burger two patties mustard grilled lettuce on a soft potato bun with thinly sliced pickle hit the spot for $11. Paired it with a dodger blonde five dollar draft. “I wanted to try this spot since it's close by the house. As someone who doesn't eat meat, grilled cheese is an only option for me, not even a simple veggie burger. Disappointing. Grilled cheese was whatever. Bf tried the kids cheeseburger and said it was solid. He liked it. Curly fries were great. Grilled cheese will not bring me back but I'll give it another chance if they start selling veggie burgers. Not really vegetarian friendly. Other than that, the service was very friendly and inviting.“

“This place has great strawberry sando. I went around 12pm just the right time when the sandoes are out. The strawberries are very fresh. They also have other katsu dishes like rice plate or katsu sando. The desserts here are great too. I just love every menu here! “I'm not a Californian, and I don't see anything special about the "experience." My evaluation is all about the food and the service. The service was quick. We spent very little time standing still. They kept the line moving. The food was hot, and the order was accurate. The drinks were already in a carrier, the drinks were a large root beer and two stakes. “Really good vegan food with a fun aesthetic. The food is actually really tasty and you can get a sandwich, nuggets fries and a drink for $17 which really lets you try it all. I do wish they had some indoor seating but they have a few tables outside. The service was friendly but as I was about to order someone came to the counter to start talking to a worker about music and I had to awkwardly wait but it wasn't a huge deal. And I wish the website listed breakfast hours. Saw online I could order breakfast for delivery at 10 pm so I thought maybe it would be available at the store too. It wasn't and that was fine but having that on the website would be nice.“

“I've been following the Chef Lemos' progress with development of this restaurant and after the success of Wax Paper I was really excited to try it. My wife and I stopped in for brunch on Sunday. Outdoor patio has a good deal of seating in the front and a lot in the back, but the front has a view of the river, which you can also hear occasionally when an obnoxious and pretentious woman isn't drowning everything else out (that's not a knock on the restaurant, just the hipster attitude of some people). The food and drink options are solid. I got the breakfast burrito which was excellent and my wife had the eggs 'n' curds which she enjoyed. The star of the meal was her brunch cocktail, the Superbloom which came at the suggestion of our server. My wife mentioned she could have enjoyed a pitcher of it, especially in the outstanding weather we had. Caution to driving in, however, the construction of several apartment buildings is a little potentially rough on your tires so be mindful. I look forward to returning for dinner in the future. “Found this place by accident because it was the only convenient parking. The lady was so incredibly nice and welcoming. Food came out super fast, and was very fresh. I was also impressed by the incredibly competitive prices. My meal was about $13 for 5 wings and fries. Many places would charge me closer to $20. Honey garlic wings: 10/10 (slight kick, I don't normally like any spice, however I really didn't mind on these, they were very good) Side note: The sauce was just drizzled on, not covering the whole thing. I thought it was perfect, the chicken was great on its own, and it wasn't drowning in sauce. Sometimes places go overkill on the sauce to compensate for mid chicken, not the case here. I don't know how it can get better than this in LA.“

The americano was deliciously bold and my mom was delighted by their mocha. We shared two entrees: the breakfast sandwich and the orange french toast. The breakfast sandwich had really fluffy soft scrambled eggs and the brioche was a nice bite.
