“We went to Woodland to try to catch the spring blooms but alas we were too late... However, we did get to try The Hive and it did not disappoint! The weather was great so we sat outside with our little pup and enjoyed the sandwiches while soaking in the lovely sun. We don't drink, but the ambiance is also perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a small wine tasting experience. The staff were so friendly and cheery and served our food fairly quickly. Besides the food they also have a variety of local honey for sale.”

“We started out at Mojo’s for a drink where the staff and service were great. Migrated over for dinner and had Jared as our waiter. Jared was professional, personable and made our experience wonderful. The food was perfection and so was the service!”

“This place is a hidden gem! I've tried so many boba places and the boba is never consistent in texture. Fusions Boba is always perfectly soft and chewy as it should be in my opinion. It's perfect every time! I asked and they make their boba fresh twice a day which is why it's always perfect!! Not to mention the owner and the crew who works there are always so sweet and pleasant! It's a great vibe! They've continued to add food and snacks too which is nice! I love their Bahn Mi sandwiches for a fresh lunch! Woodland doesn't have much variety in food or cafes but all in all one of my fav places in Woodland by far!”

The caterer forgot the vegetarian option at a nearby wedding and I (the coordinator) called these guys and within one hour they had a big beautiful vegetarian meal ready to go. They totally saved the day!!! And it was delicious!!! Thank you guys for making that happen — we won’t forget it!”

“They never disappoint. Freddy is one of my favorite chefs. He’s such a nice guy and very open to accommodations for those who have special requirements in their diet. Tonight I had a strict vegetarian in my party, and she requested very nicely that her meal was made first that way no meat touched her food and no egg in the fried rice. So that’s exactly what he did. He is the reason that I come back and bring more people every time. Keep it up guys.”

“The BEST tacos. You really can't just eat one. I'm from the SF Bay Area, and it is taqueria-galore on Mission Street and I've tried many. That said, most are good, but they do not compare to this food truck, Tacos La Piedad. This is not a let's-stop-here-since-we're-here food truck. This is a let's-take-drive-to-eat-there food truck. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. They have the tastiest carne asada meat. Juicy, not dry, and VERY flavorful. Shamelessly, I ate there 3 days in a row :) If you're tall enough to see inside, you'll see it's super clean and almost brand new There's a table in front with shade, and plenty of parking next to the truck. What are you waiting for?”

“I have ordered numerous delicious pizzas from this Round Table and their delivery is always on time or early. Today, I went in to pick up my pizza at 7, which is the time that I gave them. Because it was not ready and I had to wait about 20 more minutes, the Manager; Patrick came out to offer me a refund and also a free refreshment drink. He didn't need to do this, but I was very happy to accept the offer. I received my fresh very hot pizza shortly after and I so appreciated their great customer service.”

Their tacos and salsa are amazing!!! My favorite meats are tripas, extra crispy, cabeza, chorizo, al pastor of course, which is their number one and authentic with the trompo (spit fire), and their salsa is also amazing!!! “The fam and I stayed in Woodland Friday night. We live in Nevada. I grew up in Esparto and know Woodland fairly well. My sis and I used to stop in here back in the day. There were 8 of us plus the 18 month old bitty girl. They split us between a table and booth. The service was outstanding! Warm and friendly and efficient! And the food was great! No complaints were heard at all! We will stop in again down the road!”

“My friend and I were heading home from a trip to nor cal and I needed a driving break. I found this spot through Yelp! It was in Woodland on our way down the 5. When we got there, there was live music from a band playing 90's covers. I really enjoyed the band. I got a pint of beer and ordered a personal pizza from the onsite mobile pizza truck. This place was a bit crowded and I liked the vibe. I definitely recommend!”

“The best Mexican food I've had in years... the cook was so kind, he let me slide on the full amount because I was a few bucks short. It's cash only, which is typical with taco trucks. The spot was clean and tidy, and had perfect parking too. The food reminds me of my favorite taqueria chain in the Bay Area called "El Grullense". He gave me limes, salt packets, nice napkins, and enough salsas (green and red). The tacos came with limes, salt packs, grilled onions and jalapeños. Super tasty! I hope he never changes the quality because I plan to eat here when we visit my mother in law in town (we're from out of town). I was going to post a picture but I was starving and didn't think to do it. Next time !”

“My wife and I stopped in here a few weeks ago for a quick bite while we were in town to have a few of our dogs groomed in the area. What a great find. The atmosphere was friendly, and the bartender was the only one there, and told us that the wait for food may be a bit longer due to this. This was not so, as he did such a great job making our quesadillas, while still tending to his bar, and our food arrived faster than most "fast" food places. He also talked my wife (a wine enthusiast with a gin martini preference on occasion) into a margarita. She was very impressed, and when I ordered an alcohol free beer, he turned me on to the NA Heineken (who knew?) which was also awesome.On a quick note, when we left, we took some of our leftovers and what was left of a container of sour cream, only to notice when we arrived home (1.5 hours away - yes we love our groomer this much!) that the container was not a to-go cup, but an actual dish from the establishment, oops! Luckily we had another appointment the following week for another one of our dogs, so we stopped in and admitted our theft. Their appreciative response to our return of the "stolen" property was genuinely the best reaction with teasing and humor. I highly recommend this venue if you want a good drink or great Mexican cuisine, and if you visit on a day that we have dog grooming, you will likely find us there!”

“Very old school rural dining. You walk in through a screen door to the buzzing sound of an old swamp cooler and fans, since the building is old with no AC. An array of icey cold drinks beckons you through and a nice bilingual gentleman offers to take your order. The prices are reasonable and there is seating for about 20 people. Sells tall boy beers, soda, mazapan, candy, chicharrones, burritos, tacos, menudo, and quesadillas. The tortillas have that old school, cooked over a gas stove vibe. Worker said it is owned by the YMCA and has been in existence since 1940 as a small store and restaurant. A family from Jalisco, Mexico cooks the menu.”

Was charged 9.72 for a mini BBQ chicken that came with veggies and rice, while their bowl comes with the same thing for 7.95….While what I wanted was their mini lunch plate that doesn’t have a price.Like huh….Edit: came here a second time a year later and it seems like the cashiers are a bit better, but you will need to double check that you get what you ordered. The food is hot and fresh tho, worth the extra star. ⭐️”

Econo Lodge Hotel on 53 W Main st.I had coffee three times daily from either Dutch Bros, Star Bucks or Peets.All within one mile from each other. See drawn map in photos.I compared the price, the liquid level and the thickness of the coffee.Peet's coffee was the most expensive but the cup has the highest liquid levelPeet's win in thickness and richness of coffee.Issues: inconsistency in price-------------For Double Espresso (my usual coffee-drink for 30 years):Dutch Bros: $2.45Starbucks: $2.75 & $3.25 a day afterPeet's coffee at Raley's: $2.90 & $3.5 in the next visit----------For triple espresso:Dutch Bros: $3.45Starbucks: $3.5 the first time/ and $3.9 second timePeet's Coffee: I skipped anticipating it will be over $4--------------For the caffeine addicts (self-included) any double espresso will do. If you want to sit and read or write something, Peet's inside Raley's is not the best place for that. I'm not sure but i think they don't have a wi-fi. Also, because it's inside a market; it is awkward to sit there for more than 15 minutes. The other issue is the Barista is usually doing something else and you have to get their attention that you want coffee.Still very good coffee. The person at the front desk of our hotel recommended Las Brasas for dinner.The downtown area is really cute and Las Brasas didn’t disappoint. It is a simple looking restaurant, but the food was delicious. The tacos were fresh with a generous amount of meat, etc. There was also a condiment bar with lots of fresh limes, cut up cucumbers and more. I was very impressed and it really hit the spot.There were also old pictures of Woodland from the past. I would definitely go there again if I was driving through. Wish we had a Las Brasas in Portland!”

This restaurant has a good ? take on the soup.At first the soup was a little bland, as it needed a little more salt to hit my palate. But it came with cabbage (a must), white onions, and limes. Oregano was already at the table. Choice of chips or tortillas. Also a small brown hot sauce.Good portion of pork and hominy. Hominy isn't overcooked, and carried the taste of the soup in every bite. Once I added the hot sauce, the soup had all the flavors I love about pozole.This is one of 2 restaurants in Woodland, I will come back to for my pozole needs.Great job to the family and their pozole recipe!”
