“They know good ingredients and how to source what should be fresh and cheap so there there is enough left over for the special ingredients. They go out of the way to source local produce (always fresher than the local grocery stores!), custom meat cuts, good curated selection of wines, and the products on the shelf are classic cooking staples- almost always the consistently good cheap ones without fillers that all the distributors keep discontinuing at the major grocery stores.“

“Stopped here on the way from SMF to Napa. Got a sandwich and chips. Pretty good. Friendly service my only gripe was that it was cut before it was wrapped... since I had the 6" I wasn't sure to expect it and ended up having the top half star sliding off the bottom half as I peeled the wrapper down after a few bites. Sure, that's my bad. Don't add avocado to the peppercorn turkey; it's too creamy and may as well be a regular turkey and avocado. Live and learn, I guess. Quite frankly, it was better than the other fast food options around. I would come back to this location. Best part of the sandwich: the sourdough baguette of course.“

“Is it the best Mexican food in town? No. But they always have good service, they answer the phone so you can do pickup orders, and they have a drive through. As someone with kids those things combined have made this one of the go-to spots in Woodland. Recommend the Quesabirria, Surf n Turf Burrito, or Carnitas and my wife swears by their Cheese Enchiladas“

“Sad that it took 45+ minutes because no drivers. The owner needs to drive or let someone else drive. No one wants to work any more. They tried to compensate for my wait. The manager is a great person sorry for the review. The owner needs to get out and deliver their product. So I'm giving them a 4 star I would give them 5 stars but the owner kind of prevented it.“

“Steve's is always my family's To go pizza place in town they have amazing service with punctual timing!! Food is amazing our favorite is their Vegetarian pizza and cheese pizza!! Their ranch is the best ranch you will ever have spicy ranch and normal ranch. Their dine in is also nice has a nice small town pizza shop vibe with the great service to go with it. The owner is usually the one cooking and the mother is sometimes their and always remember the customers and already knows how many sides of ranch and red sauce you want!! Must try pizza spot!!!“

“We just had a lovely lunch at Sally's. It was our first time here, but it will not be our last. My jalapeño burger was incredible and my husband loved his pastrami sandwich. The garlic fries were wonderful as was my Paloma! The service was friendly and wonderful!“

“One if the best salads in town! I love going through the drive thru before 3 pm as it is pretty quick & the staff is on top of my order. I love the BBQ chicken salad and the tempura green beans as a healthy option since Im getting ready for spring/summer! When I do go inside it is always clean and they give you a buzzing beeper type thing to tell you your order is ready. Overall great place for a quick salad that wont break the bank!“

“This tiny hole in the wall never disappoints! The pizzas are always tasty and ingredients are fresh! Their pastries are delicious, I recommend the cream puffs. Whenever I'm in the area visiting family, I stop by this place for pizza and pastries. I recommend this place!“

“Its disappointing its not super busy when it deserves to be packed. Simple, picky-eater-proof, restaurant quality food for outrageously reasonable prices. Equivalent melt burger anywhere else, especially in this area, easily costs $13+. Plenty of variety that will have me coming back just to try it out. Place is well equipped for take-out, and has enough space should you want to eat-in for a quick bit. Yeah its a bit empty whenever ive walked by, and not exactly the greatest place to hang out and eat, but its situated by plenty of out-door seating to not be a total vibe-killer.Not extravagant or exotic, but it certainly feels like a genuine grassroots restaurant venture. More startup-like and less high-brow. Good food for the price regardless.Certified hidden-in-plain-sight gem that i hope sticks around for a while. Its gimmick is easy, good food and a broad menu. “This place is a hidden gem in Davis, CA. I discovered this place during my stay at the Marriott (which is just a block away) and they have really great deli sandwiches as well as a easy going beach atmosphere. The sandwich breads are fresh and they are packed with meats and veggies. They also have a good selection of draft beers. Why go into downtown Davis when this is so easy and you don't have to fight for parking.“
