“This place checked all the boxes for me, the ramen was delicious, perfectly filling without being overwhelming, great flavor, they definitely know how to do ramen right. I'm on a mission to try as many new ramen spots as I can, but this will be my go to spot when all I want is a good bowl of ramen, good flavor combinations, and know it will be done right.“

The Kobe beef roll was crunchy and incredibly tasty as were the other selections. Best Miso soup I've ever had. Presentation of the meal was first rate. “My Japanese wife and I went to the restaurant tonight. My expectations were modest. I was so wrong. This is a truly wonderful restaurant and as good or better than places I have eaten in Tokyo and Kyushu. The food quality is exceptional and so is the service. We ordered the chef’s special for two. Wow! Really great. The price for all this was incredibly reasonable. $45 x 2 plus a small serving of sake $20. Totally worth the 30 minute drive.“

“We came here by pure chance, we were going to review Big Bill's Pizza next door for our podcast but they were closed for Superbowl Sunday.The atmosphere wasn't what you would want for a dining experience. The fish tank looked like it needed to be cleaned, I assume the owner's kids were lounging around upfront one looked to be doing homework while the other playing a video game. Near the back of the restrooms, it looked like two kitchen staff members were lounging around in a booth. Now I guess this could be explained away since it was Superbowl Sunday around 4:45 pm and we were the only patrons dining in.As for the food, I ordered the sriracha beef with fried rice. I will first start by saying DO NOT pay the $1 surcharge for fried rice, there were no peas, carrots, and only 1 tiny piece of egg in it, just go with steamed rice or brown rice. That being said the food was incredible the beef had great flavor and was one of the better Asian dishes I have eaten in a long time.My podcast co-host & friend said it was the best sesame chicken he had in like 20 years and we were both surprised by the pineapple dessert boat after the meal which tasted phenomenal.I wish the place was a bit more modern and flashy with no one lounging around to be a more date-worthy restaurant. The bottom line is great food, the atmosphere could be improved, and great service, I will definitely go back but I won't be taking a date.“

I’m sorry the other Deb didn’t get her meal this evening, but I can attest that Tokey Joe makes good food using fresh ingredients. All sushi was fresh, I prefer the basic rolls over the super topped ones as you can get a nice tastes of the fish!The beef bowl had nice flavor and the veggies in it were great. “Porklet has been one of our most tried and true restaurants since we moved to Aurora last year. My only complaint is that the katsu sauce is a bit weird / overly sweet - but everything else is so yummy and the service is always quick. Plus they have some of the best Korean style fried chicken around!“

“This is hands down the best ramen in the Denver Metro area. We drive almost 45 minutes from Lakewood to Aurora for this ramen, specifically the black garlic tonkatsu. It is absolutely incredibly out of this world. The creamy rich broth with little bits of black garlic yearns to be topped off with the course, slightly sweet chili paste smeared on the side of the bowl. This paste is not to be confused with their stunning chili oil that they'll bring to you on request, or at the press of the button.That brings me to service, simple, efficient, at the push of a button service. Literally. You can push one button for ordering, one for Chile oil, and there were a few others, but that said, you rarely have to push the button because the attentive staff is usually there before you even think to.This place is not fancy, but its charming. I saw a handsome couple on a date there tonight, and if a potential partner brought me here, I'd think, damn they know what's important I life.(Good food, if you're wondering.)“

“This place is a gem for those that appreciate a wide range of delicious Ramen. Super high quality food and executed to chef quality and perfection. Small and unpretentious, the staff was wonderful and all smiles. The food came piping hot, and the egg was poached expertly. Prices are very reasonable, but that's relative to the patron. “I was a bit skeptical to eat at Enso, and almost went elsewhere but wow. I am SO GLAD we stuck with our plans. Please oh please look no further for amazing sushi than Enso. We were happy to have great help deciding on perfect dishes, a wine to pair, and appetizer, by an amazing server who guided us expertly to wonderful choices. I don't recall all the names but he first brought out yellowtail sashimi which was incredible-topped with crunchy goodness and a hint of hot. One of the rolls was a foxy lady, and the other one was topped with strawberry sauce. A third was rolled with cucumber- a perfect, light end to the meal. We ordered three rolls in all, plus the appetizer. It was only two of us and we left satisfied, leaving nothing on the plate. I can't wait to go back and enjoy more. Our server also suggested we come back for some of the dinner selections including habachi meals. I hope to visit really soon and will let everyone know Enso is where they need to go for incredibly fresh, innovative and delicious sushi.“

“Aki is a Japanese restaurant in the Englewood area on Broadway. From the front of the store you can hardly tell that it's a restaurant. The shop is a single booth building on the main road, easy to find. There is parking at the back and you can walk into the shop from the back. The inside of the shop is decorated with dim lights. It's half bar, half restaurant style.The raw fish menu is quite fresh. The fish meat is soft and has no fishy smell. The sushi rice menu is also prepared according to standards. The price is quite high. But I didn't feel like it was so expensive that I couldn't bear it. The raw fish on rice came out quite well.Polite service staff It's been enough to eat for a long time. But if you come often, you'll probably be insolvent.“

“Highly recommend this place, they have great lunch deals that you cannot beat. We spent $31 on 2 rolls and a lunch box. The rolls came with a choice of either soup or salad and the lunch box came with both. Totally exceeds expectations and comes with way more food than what it seems like. “I am addicted to this place. I am in love with their Shoyu ramen with soft boiled egg and their vegetable tempura. There are many options for other ramen as well as other Japanese dishes and sushi. It's small but cozy. I just love it!“

“Asuka Ramen has been a longtime favorite of ours, and we were excited to see a new restaurant closer to us in Aurora. The inside of the restaurant is cute, small dining area and they even have a little bar for you to sit at as well. The staff greeted us quickly and were patient with us while looking over the menu. Now onto the food, our go-to entree is the Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen. It is spicy but not super intense, and has really great flavor. The Spring Rolls were nothing special but taste like your standard veggie spring roll. The Lychee Boba Juice was good as well. The DTC location has Pork Belly Buns and we were disappointed to see the new location does not have this on the menu. My favorite thing about this restaurant besides the ramen is how they prepare your to-go orders. They separate your broth and noodles so that your noodles do not get soggy. We cannot wait to go back and get more ramen, highly recommend this spot!!“

The depth of the menu (himachi collar, miso cod, yakitori, and the only place I know of in Aurora that has natto), and the amount of work they put into the place to create a really fine Japanese ambiance make it a place worth revisiting often. You taste the meat and flavor. The rice is perfect. The broccoli is fresh and flavourful. This is the first time I've eaten the broccoli and not viewed it as a garnish. I didn't like the sauce for the tempura shrimp on the shrimp, I ate shrimp w/o it. I did dip my California roll into the sauce, very tasty. ? The Wasabi, Wow- everybody is not doing it like this place. I actually ate it! It had the right amount of kick and consistency. (Pace yourself, small dosesIt will clear your sinuses.) It's a very thick syrupy goop and it tastes nothing like actual Thai tea... It was more of a brown color than orange.“
