“Had no expectations but turned out the food was great and worth the price (although a bit pricey) but the portion was decent to our preference. The place was quite and cozy, loving how they put dark themed interior so it gave this relaxing vibe. The staff was agile and friendly.However, do not expect the raw seafood would be very fresh because Golden is far from the bay but I gotta say that they keep the raw fish really well so no complaints, and Okinawa must be very decent compared to other sushi places around here. “Went here with friends recently and had a wonderful dinner. Had the rolls in the picture which were all very good. Our table enjoyed Shrek, Snow White and Golden Dragon rolls the best. Seaweed salad was also great and we also tried the Toro sushi, which was terrific. Service was also on point. We are all looking forward to returning.“

“It's very tasty and fresh! It's our go-to for takeout. There are some unique flavors, and the portions are good for the price. Love the Spicy Tuna Nachos and the Pork Belly Fried Rice. Staff is friendly and the location is very clean. There is an option to dine in that is more to have a place to eat than an atmosphere. Parking is a bit limited but worth finding. Don't skip this place!“

“While at Zeppelin Station, I was drawn in by these unique sushi rolls. I had a hard time deciding what to get, but ended up going with the Maui Wowie Roll. It was delicious and a pretty big roll. “I love toyko joes so much! The salmon poke bowl hits the spot everytime. Esp with the spicy aioli! I really like that you can get your bowl base with half rice and half greens. There is plenty of both parking and seating at this location. I am convinced you get way more food when you dine in vs togo however.“

I’ve noticed that they always result in better ingredients, though their food is still decently cheap. Around $12 for a bowl, and a bento box combo with a cookie and a drink included is $16. Really not bad at all.Something that I admire that some restaurants have is their sweet tea. Tokyo Joe’s tea selection is amazing! They have raspberry hibiscus, black berry, unsweetened, sweet and other flavors that taste natural and pure, not like Fuze from a fountain. They also use Stevia for their sweetener which is a good option.All in all, it’s a really great place to eat if you’re trying to get there in a rush. I remember approaching the restaurant playing the radio, going in and ordering, then coming out and getting into my car for the same song on the radio to still be playing. That’s how fast they are. The environment isn’t anything super special but they have a comfortable environment and their food is absolutely worth a try at least one time. “My only gripe would be that if you catch them on a bad day when they are maybe a little understaffed (?) They don't bust the tables the way they should. We went there the other day and there were about 15 tables with dirty plates on them. Doesn't feel like the cleanest place when that happens. I wanted to help! Lol! So for the amount of food you get and the extreme delicious taste that they offer it's totally worth the money!! My first experience ever with Susie was at this place and I cannot thank them enough lol. A friend of mine took me here for a lunch at work one day and I was new to the sushi world so she was soft on me and ordered me a dragon roll first. Something no fish but still able to try the seaweed... And I loved it!! I found myself getting more and more brave reading all the other options and stuff. And OMG the unagi roll is amazing!
