“I have come to this candy shop for the last 10 years. That should speak for itself. If it doesn't, I'll say more:I absolutely love chocolate malts. Any place I go that has them, I always order one. SweetSpot makes the most INCREDIBLE malt I have ever had anywhere, and not once in 10 years has it been less than amazing! I took a friend a few months ago, telling them that the malts are the best and she was skeptical. Had one sip and said it was "50/10."However, if you aren't into malts, there are many other things to love. They have the widest variety of candies I have ever seen at one shop, plus some types of candy that I haven't seen anywhere else in 15 years, not to mention soda in actual glass bottles! Good luck finding those in your local grocery store! It seems impossible to find a real *candy* store anymore, as opposed to a store with a candy section.If you're in the area, SweetSpot is a must-visit. I'm moving several hours away tomorrow, but you can be sure that any time I come back to visit, I'll be stopping here for a malt!“

“Fun tiki like atmosphere inside, but you don’t really get good views of the water from inside restaurant. I got the bbq bacon burger and it was great! The fries were a seasoned kind, they were good but not my fave. The mister got the all you eat fish fry. They bring out two fried cod pieces at a time. The beer battered fish was great and so was tartar sauce, especially the spicy one was fantastic! Only complaint is we waited awhile for another serving of fish - but when it came out it was hot and fresh! We asked for side of blue cheese and some hot sauce - be aware they charge you for 75 cent for every sauce without letting you know.“

“Super cute walk up diner style custard shop. It's a family affair with husband, wife and kids, (as well as local high-school students) greet you with a smile. I've seen them patiently training and shadowing the young workers on how to ring up orders, make change, and deliver the items ordered, which is refreshing, since most on job training lately seems to be "figure it out." The custard is delicious, super fresh made with quality ingredients, small batches, a new flavor of the day and always the tried and true flavors; Chocolate and Vanilla. If the flavor of the day isn't your thing, you can always buy a pint of a flavor from earlier in the week, handpacked in a pint container and frozen solid. Just thaw it on the counter about 30 min. They also offer Coffee, Water, tons of sundaes and shakes, special treats, AND a non dairy option of a frozen pineapple whip, which is really tasty. Open 3 to 9 Monday to Saturday (closed Sunday) Give it a try this summer. You'll be glad you did.“

I made a schedule for 7 pm but we got home earlier and I asked to reschedule the delivery for earlier, everything was done as requested. “This is an awesome cool small shop I would recommend to any ice cream or shaved ice lover. This is the best hang out ice cream shop downtown. It's so cozy and nice. I think it's a little small, but I like how there is outside seating with a bike rack nearby. Workers are lovely, and prices are pretty reasonable. “Breaking Bread is the perfect local spot to get some of the best food in Cary. It's very clear the folks there care very much and have a passion for what they do. Every visit is extremely enjoyable, as the staff are always friendly, and the food is always delicious. I can't recommend Breaking Bread enough, as it is more than worth the price. “Ultra busy for Mother's Day but expected. We were patient and it paid off. We have been many times, but our first Sunday brunch. The food was amazing. Every item ordered was just outstanding. Waiter was super apologetic and didn't need to be. We sat outside and it was a perfect weather so we were in no rush. Exceptional food every time.“

“My wife and I did a tour. Our experience was great. Amanda did the tour and was very knowledgeable and very down to earth. The smell in the air hits your nose as soon as you walk in and it’s heavenly. The spirits were delicious as well. We bought a bottle of Rye (highly recommend). This was a Christmas gift from my wife! KRH made no attempt to alter or change our reservations like I assume most restaurants would and decided to honor our party of 14 with a skeleton crew of Will and his family. And an honor it was....
