“This hidden gem in Barrington never disappoints. The food is amazing. Portions are HUGE, and it is served piping hot. They have some eclectic martinis namely the Blood Orange, and the Lychee. Both are fantastic. If you are a Chicken Pad Thai fan, then this is your place. Although we live around 17 miles away, we go here for take out too! The interior is very interesting which also adds to the experience. Would definitely recommend.“

“I am 38, first time ever going here, was amazing. Went with my gf, my little brother and a group of friends. It was on Monday (Memorial Day 2024-4pm show), smaller crowd and at first, it was dead quiet so I just got up and began and started yelling for our knight (yellow/red) and then the crowd just became louder around the stadium. But yellow/red won! It was an awesome experience. Good food, friendly people and good stuff. Came away with some souvenirs, but you WILL pay, however, it was all worth it. Will be back in the future sometime soonish.“

“Hands down 5 stars. The food is very delicious, especially the pancakes which are all unique. I really like the berry pancakes. The mushroom omelette I had was phenomenal ( I added Swiss cheese and avocado to the original) and my mother had the gluten free s'mores version and loved it. The veggie skillet was decent but probably wouldn't order again. We also had crepes which were very sweet. The service was quick and efficient despite being totally packed. You didn't feel rushed or forgotten. We put ourselves on the virtual waiting list because there is always a wait, even on weekdays.“

“I went there for the first time and the server was super sweet. I don't remember her name. But she was the best didn't come up to us non stop and was a doll to my toddler. “My waiter was good and friendly. I sat in covered patio. I ordered a spring salad with shrimp. blackberries, grapefruit, candied pecans, arugula and berry vinaigrette and a side of Mac n cheese. The salad was missing the pecans but I forgot until I left, I thought something was missing. However, the shrimp was perfectly cooked. The ratio of shrimp to half portion was good. Mac N Cheese was ok. Noodles were undercooked and some still hard/crunchy edges and cheese sauce was just average and a bit gritty/thick. However, I was not expecting my meal to be served with plastic wrapped plastic utensils. a take home box for salad and a take home container for dining in. That was disappointing. the table of eight next to me was a bit shocked too to get their meals in to go cardboard containers.“

Franks for the Memories is special and a real gem in Mundelein. The local residents should be proud to have this iconic wonder.With the exception of the curly fries, we all ended up ordering different items to eat which was good so I could give an overall excellent rating for the food alone.My wife mentioned that the buffalo wings are some of the best wings she's ever had in her life, that burger and fries were awesome and my son never complains about the chicken strips wherever he goes.We'll definitely be back for more great grub and I wish for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).“

I don't hold back and as you can tell from my pic, I did NOT hold back. That salad tasted good and so did the sauce. Could have done without the dirty looks from the staff. Sorry not all of us are perfect clean eaters. I'm a MAN and I make messes when I eat, besides, next time don't honor my request of that much sauce. Clearly not my fault they allowed for that.“
