“We have never eaten at a restaurant like Legendary Spice. It was an interesting experience. Our waiter was very helpful directing us through the process. There is seriously so much food. The steamed dumplings and sesame balls were absolutely amazing. I ordered the Mushroom hot pot & my boyfriend ordered the spicy beef pot. His was definitely HOT, so not my thing, but he enjoyed it. You can make nearly unlimited choices in Chinese veggies & meats.“

“I was craving a burger, but didn't want lunch to be too unhealthy. Therefore, I opted for this place. This is located in a strip mall, so parking was no issue. The food was good!!! I got the most expensive noodle dish with 2 beef ribs and oh man! It was good! Fall off the bone tender ribs, Rich broth, and great noodles. I even downed the broth at the end because it's that good.I also got the original milk boba tea with low sugar. The tea was exceptional and comparable to other places. The service was also exceptional all around.Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for Chinese noodles.“

“One of the better Vietnamese restaurants in this side of the suburbs imo. Pho is pho for me, but my partner & I both really enjoyed the Bun Bo Hue, which is actually much harder for us to find a spot that does it well! I thought the portion size for the cost was fair too.Service was really good when we went even though it was towards their closing hours. Waiter came to our table diligently and was really nice.“

Appreciate the owners for being such loving people.Kid-friendliness: They love kids“

“A great little place I must have driven by a 100 times! Sad I hadn't stopped before. My daughter and I stopped in on Easter Sunday after a day of moving. The food was AMAZING! I had roast pork loin mein, she had shrimp fried rice and we shared potstickers. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. A really wonderful little family business that I will absolutely visit again. Highly recommend!“

Large portions and quick service make this a must-try, not to mention the only Vietnamese place in the Midwest. Thanks much for your hospitality and the experience.“

“Hands down the best Chinese restaurant in the Southwest metro. It is the place to be if you want authentic Cantonese food. There are many delicious items, including the Seafood Tofu Hotpot and 双拼 (roast pork & BBQ pork). The dishes come out quickly and the staff are super friendly. It is well worth a visit here to try new delights and savor old favorites.“

“Please was a favorite growing up in South Minneapolis. My family would always order from here. It does seem like it’s taking a step back from his heyday. I don’t know if it’s new ownership or not but I’ve ordered the same meal for nearly 15 years and it seems like the food is only ok. Very impersonal but it is take out so maybe that’s to be expected.“

“Came here around 11 on a Saturday. Outside the atmosphere is pretty sketchy. Some guy nodding out in the parking lot next door. We almost went someplace else.Inside the restaurant is very nice. Hostess was very friendly. Good food, great sushi selection. Crab legs on buffet. Kid friendly. Dessert and fruit section was clean and fresh looking. Bathrooms were clean. Would eat here again.“

“I got a #12 lunch special and an order of the steamed dumplings. Cost came out to just under $19. The amount of food I got was a ton! Definitely worth the $$.The dumplings were by far the best I have had. Huge size and tasted great! Not a fan of the egg roll. It tasted like it had been rolled in sugar prior to being deep fried. Came off pretty sweet. The sesame chicken was good. Really liked the coating on the chicken. Sauce was ok. Not super spicy but chicken was a little dry.Nothing special about the fried rice. It’s like they just put white rice in the wok with some soy sauce and an egg. No real taste. Would be better if they put just a couple of peas or carrots with some seasonings.I will go back just for the dumplings!!“

“They have been here for years and it is a family who owns and operates it. Good people! My favorite as well as my wife's and her sister's favorite is the chow mein with crispy noodles. I think they make their own noodles and they are the best crispy noodles I have ever had. They are unique and very light and crispy. I get the chicken chow mein and my wife gets the fried tofu version. It's not a saucy chow mein. It is like a stir fry and the vegetables are crisp and fresh. I don't like old fashion chow mein with the heavy sauce. For $10 you get a large portion and I just love it! Egg rolls and spring rolls very good too. They do a lot of takeout so there is always plenty of places to sit. That plus the lack of decor I give it a 3 for atmosphere. Parking in the rear or on the street is not a problem.“

“Zero ambience (as it's takeout / delivery only) but they let us eat in. The food was absolutely divine. Amazing. Family owned restaurant, the kids are doing homework on the side as the immigrant parents run the show, the older sibling answers the phone with her American accent that probably helps. This is an absolute winner ?. No frills. Remarkable food and I'll be going back often. I hope you try it. Enjoy!“

“Very bare-bones setup, may not look like much on the inside, but the food is great. Cash only, so be prepared; fortunately the menu is inexpensive. I've been comparing egg foo young dishes from various Chinese restaurants, and I prefer Huie's so far.Parking: There are a few spots, one handicapped.“

“Great food; portions bigger than last time we dined here. Stir fry bar is fantastic. Friendly service. The cost to go out to eat is just so high. $230 for our family and only 1 person ordered 1 drink. It was a special occasion but we couldn't do this otherwise.“

“We ordered wontons with sesame chicken and general tso chicken with white rice and fried rice. It was delivered quickly and very hot! We were very surprised with how delicious everything was! Wontons were perfectly fried with a lot of dipping sauce! The little bit of spice on the general tso chicken was a nice touch. We will definitely be going back soon!“

“It's an interesting concept. Our waiter was very helpful in explaining how/what to order and how long to cook things. Instead of cooking in oil, you choose your broth (i.e. chicken or pork based). You order protein and some veggies off the menu, and others veggies are available at the self-serve food bar. Also available are lots of spices and sauces to flavor your food. A fun robot delivers your raw food. You place your food in the hot broth and it cooks up fairly quickly. The shrimp and imitation crab were excellent. Pot stickers were very large and tasty. Our friends liked the tofu and chicken. The paper-thin beef and pork were very fatty and, after cooking, there was very little meat to eat. A few starch options are available (i.e. Udon noodles). We thought it was a bit pricey, but it was all-you-can-eat. Afterward, it's fun shopping in the Asian mall, and especially the main level Asian grocery store.“

“Food from here tastes better than other 'takeout' in the area. Quality ingredients and more veggies on the menu. Everything so far tastes good. No weird bitter aftertaste, no over-salted or over-breaded meat.Mandarin Chicken - good balance of meat and veggies, not too salty or saucy.Japanese Chicken - also very good, good balance and good sized pieces.Orange Chicken - actually has orange peel!“

“What a lovely gem in Dinkytown! Appreciated the quick service and the fresh pot of hot tea with our meal. Staff were attentive and helpful. Food came out within 10 minutes and was piping hot. Cream cheese wontons were delicious, if a little greasy. Orange chicken came in a MASSIVE portion - excited to have leftovers for lunch!“

“We have been coming here for nearly the last 10 years. Food is affordable and delicious. Great when you have a group over or as a family meal. And the people who own the restaurant are just the nicest people you will ever meet. Definitely worth a try if you haven't been.Vegetarian options: It's largely the same items that are on the menu but you can substitute meat with tofu or exclude the meat altogether in that dish.“

“I’ve had their Peanut Butter Chicken at 2 different moments. Both times it was amazing. Savory, a little bit of tanginess as well as a hint of sweetness. The chicken cutlets go perfectly with the sauce it’s in. Combine that with the rice & you’ve got yourself a master piece.Parking: It’s in a massive parking lot so you’ll never have any issue finding somewhere to leave your vehicle while you run in and grab your order.“

“The location is easy to find. Excellent customer service. Employees were smiling and friendly. The prices were very reasonable. Food was good. I had the Thai Coconut Curry Chicken and it could have a a little more coconut flavor. Had a nice spice heat to it though. The cream cheese wontons were tasty. The other meal was Mongolian Beef and that was good too but the beef was a little chewy. The chicken fried rice had good flavor. The dining area was clean and plenty of seating. I will eat at this establishment again..Vegetarian options: See menu onlineKid-friendliness: Several food items kids may like to eat. Cream cheese wontons, sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls, white rice, chicken fried rice, potstickers and a few others.Wheelchair accessibility: Main floor dining“

“Big bowl is worth the trip from the far NE metro but we really miss the Roseville location! That said, the Edina staff are wonderful and the cooks are top notch. BB is our go-to for special events because of their wide variety of options, large portions, and chill vibe. With gluten sensitive foods and a nice drink menu, there's something for everyone in our party. We will keep asking for another St. Paul location with every trip though! Haha!“

“Service is not always great but the sesame chicken is the best I've ever had. I've been here 3 times in the last month just for the sesame chicken. It's that good. I'm sure there are other good items on the menu but I keep coming back for the same thing. It's crispy and always has the perfect amount of sauce. The fried rice has a bit too much black pepper for my taste but is still pretty good as well.“

“Updating my review after 4 years - still my favorite Chinese restaurant in town. If you like tasty authentic Chinese food that is not overly salty, this is the place for you. Prices are reasonable, parking is easy, seats are spacious and comfortable, service is great and efficient. The 4.1 stars on Google map is a bit underrated in my view.Attached are the pictures of the dishes we ordered today, all highly recommended. Fried rice is great for kids, the beef in the beef fried rice is actually big pieces of beef instead of ground beef used by many other restaurants. Serving size of dishes is BIG so very satisfying when you are hungry.“

“This place has some very delicious asian food. They also have some good vegetarian and vegan options. The only problem is the menu! they do have any menu, they have some items written on the back wall, but it does not have all their items. The food is very delicious and I must say that they make the BEST Lo Mein in town. The price is very reasonable and its your wallet friendly.“

“What a fun experience for my family of 5. I was with my wife and 3 boys. We arrived at around 8:20 p.m. and stayed until 10:00 p.m. close because we bought the all you can eat option. When we went on 5/10/2024, all you can eat for adults is $34.99 and kids were half off. Be aware that kids pricing is based on height and not age, so unfortunately if you have taller than average kids, they might not get a discount. The restaurant uses individual induction stoves built into the table for individual hot pots. My kids and I loved the experience. The options for food to put in the hot pot were pretty extensive and tasted great. We loved the ribeye, beef, rice sticks, egg noodles, sole filets, quail eggs and others too many to name. We loved the dipping sauce station. It’s a fun eating experience, but the bill can be pretty expensive for a family of 5. We will be back here again, but for special occasions. Also, as an added bonus, we had the best boba tea we have ever tried call Kung Fu Tea. It’s a must try if you’re there. The bobas were cooked perfectly al dente and the tea tasted fresh. I could distinguish the individual flavors.Kid-friendliness: My picky 7-year old son eater was able to choose and eat a lot of the offerings including quail egg, chicken, egg noodles, potatoes, and corn on the cob.I also have an 11-year old who is sorta picky, but he loves steak, so the beef and ribeye were his favorites. My 14-year old isn’t picky and he wanted hot pot so he really loves this place. Overall, I was highly doubtful my two younger kids would eat anything, but they ate very well and it was worth paying for their meal.“
