Marvelous lunch! We had the salmon with a unique lemon butter sauce on a bed of whipped potatoes and spinach.we each had a side of young, slender asparagus and finished off with croissants and fresh butter and blueberry jam. We washed it down with hot tea made expertly with boiling water in a nice teapot. The Red Stag serves very good food in a very attractive setting
We've dined here several times before and always had a 5-star experience. Unfortunately this time didn't live up to expectations. First, we received a conventional menu, not a backlighted one. When I mentioned this to our server he made an excuse instead of making an effort to find us some (the guest on both sides of us had them).
