“If you like Nashville hot chicken and are in the area, I’d highly recommend Rockies. This location tends to get busy but the food comes out quickly. The parking situation can also get a bit busy at times.Our go to orders are: Pimento BLT sandwich with fried Mac poppers and a fried chicken combo with pickles. We love spice so we go with Rockies Hot but to some people this may be a too spicy. If you’re a spice novice then go with mild or original. They are tasty no matter the level.“

It is the staff and their delightful hospitality and kindness. The staff is so friendly. No request is too much. One thing that sets these folks apart is their ability to anticipate what I need or want without me asking. My glass is never empty and they know my quirks - and they don't seem to mind in the least. “This place started in Ashville NC and now has 20+ locations all over the US. Every time I’m in Ashville for work I eat here! Really great options for some unique dining. I always get the hot honey chicken with Mac and cheese waffles and it never disappoints! Service is ALWAYS excellent, so nice and friendly! Definitely one of my top 10 restaurants to eat at.“

“After following them for years, I finally got to try out their food on Sunday at New Belgium in Asheville. I had the fried oyster sandwich. Probably the BEST fried oysters I've every had... tender, crispy and perfect. Unfortunately I couldn't have the sauce that they put with it because it contains milk, and they didn't offer me an alternative. So I just put some crystal hot sauce on it. My husband had the Seintan sandwich (vegan) that was spiced to taste like Italian sausage. He said it was quite good, and would order again.“
