“What a fantastic find in a renovated jailhouse with outdoor and indoor seating and board games to keep you occupied. You walk in and order at the counter and the food is brought out almost immediately. Service was friendly and patient. All four in our party ordered a Smash Burger to their own liking and everything was correctly brought out. The bread for the burger was soft, the meat tasted delicious, and everything was on point. Would recommend this small town hole in the wall to anyone passing through Marshall!“
“Hollie, with Sweet Monkey, provided the catering for our wedding this passed weekend. We can’t say enough good things about working with her! Hollie was wonderful at communicating back and forth and putting together a menu for the wedding that was absolutely perfect! She provided us with items for cocktail hour, and while guests were raving about the dip she made, seeing firsthand the joy on a friends face with her cheese sauce said more than words could. Dinner was a perfect taco bar and accompanying sides. All that, plus she was so extremely professional and kind both before and during the wedding. You could do no better working with Hollie and Sweet Monkey for your catering or just stopping by her location for a meal! Thank you so much for a wonderful time, Hollie!“

Terrific fresh-ground coffee, creative breakfasts, sandwiches, salads (I love The One with Quinoa and Butternut Squash—yes, that is its name). Very fresh food, veg/vegan and GF options, beer and wine, excellent wifi….one of our favorite places!!!“

“This small coffee shop/ice cream shop/local shop is awesome. Come in and enjoy an ice cream or a coffee on a couch as you listen to jazz and peruse their books on the Appalachian trail. Stare off into their artwork and just lose yourself in lovely people and their conversations.“

“Lived in weaverville for 25 years, my first time (it has always been busy every other time we tried).Service was really good, I got a grilled chicken sandwich, grandson got a burger, grand daughter got shrimp. All were really good. The thing that would have been better would be to upgrade their French fries, they weren't good. It is a small place and can get a little loud, but it is that kind of place.“
“This is the gem we have been looking for. Great food good IPA beers awesome movies and Jacob is excellent beer tender. This is our date night go to Place.“

“This is located behind the Big Pillow Brewery, which is equally fabulous. First off, I hate food trucks, this really isn’t a food truck, but close….. Having said that, we have eaten here several times and without a doubt, they have the best Guacamole I have ever had. Salsa and Queso equally epic! I do not know how they do it, so creamy, so smooth, very deep flavor! Awesome! Awesome! The chips are house made and come out hot with the oil still dripping, I added salt and was in nacho heaven!!!!!!!! We have had all there dishes and are all equally awesome. The brisket taco is yummy!Grab some food and go into the brewery, sit down, order a local craft and enjoy some local great fun and people!!!!!“

“Great neighborhood gathering place. Friendly people. Good food. Good drinks.“
“I visited today around opening time and had the Tokyo gose and the smoked porter; and got myself a nice T-shirt. This was not my first time at Zebulon but I have tried different beers every time I visit. The gose blew my mind: it had a strong ginger taste, and the umami from the miso stood out as well. The smoked porter was mild, but the hint of smokiness was a nice welcome! My friend, who is very much into beer brewing, highly recommended Zebulon to me. The privacy of the alleyway, nice deck chairs, and friendly bartender makes this a perfect gem.“
“Beautiful place! Grace our hostess was wonderful! She showed great knowledge of the grapes and wines they offered. We enjoyed choosing our own cutting board selection from locally sourced goods! Wines- Orion was our favorite- Although Red Dress was very nice as well! Super clean facilities!!! Friendly! Don’t miss this jewel! A must visit! Thanks for the memories! O - we even picked up a bottle of mead! Will revisit!“
“We frequent this establishment for the beer and fun friendly bar vibe. But also the food occasionally - the steak salad is wonderful. Good quality steak thinly sliced so it works so well with the salad. Fresh salad greens and toppings. Best croutons ever are fries!“
“Absolutely loved it at wagbar today. I didn’t even take my dogs and it was such a great experience just vibing at the bar and watching the dogs run around. Everyone was so chill and relaxed. I will definitely go again with or without my dog.“

“Tasty pizza joint in the town of weaverville. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available, with live music at night, and friendly staff. Dog friendly outside. Plenty of beer and wine options, and as far as the menu goes my favorite ranges from the margarita pizza to making my own calzone. You have to get their brownie for dessert!“
“My wife and I met here for a going away party for a friend. The place is large with indoor and outdoor seating with a mini-golf course behind it. Good variety of selection on beer types and about 12-15 of them. The breakfast sandwich was a home run... like completely surprised us both for a brewpub... we were there during brunch, so she was able to get brunch and me lunch (think brunch ends at 3:30 Saturdays/Sundays). She had the breakfast sandwich, which was a monster and was a very good value. The sandwich was satisfying and so flavorful, especially with whatever sauce that was. The home fries were ordered extra crispy, and they came out perfectly crispy and not burnt or greasey.I am a sucker for shrimp and grits, so I usually get it if I see it on a menu. The shrimp were cleaned first off so they did that right and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. The sausage was still juicy and flavorful. The grits were cooked well but honestly, it didn't taste much of cheddar and noticed barely any jalapeno. The sauce was supposed to be garlicky cajun cream sauce. I got the garlic and cream but no cajun spice, and overall it needed some salt and pepper because of that lack of heat.Overall it was a great brunch spot with a tasty large breakfast sandwich and crispy home fries; but mediocre shrimp and grits. Beer selection is good.8.5/10“

“First time ever going to this location. It was a bit crowded, but it's a Friday night, what do you expect? My fiancé and I sat at the bar, which was being run by Katrina, and she is a sweetheart. We got the Violet Mule and the Blooming Sangria, both made excellently. We tried the Beer Battered Cheese Curds, and they were delicious. My fiancé got the Chicken Marsala, and I tried the Peloponnesian Spaghetti. Both accompanied by a side Cesar salad, the dishes were phenomenal! This is definitely worth the visit. The prices are worth it, I promise. Will be back again for sure.Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free or gluten substitute dishes available.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp in back by the rear entrance.“

“My wife and I love sushi! This is a nice walkable area to get sushi in downtown Weaverville. They do a good job and there are plenty of options. We think it definitely competes with sushi in Asheville close by, so if you live north of Asheville and don’t want to drive into AVL, give this place a try! Thanks for coming to Weaverville Soba!“

“This was hands down one of the best dinners I’ve ever eaten. As a chef myself I really appreciated the plating skills and speed. The Chilean sea bass was perfect along with the bed of risotto it was on. I loved the fried oysters as well and for anyone who enjoys cider beers the one they have is really tasty. Overall it was one of the best experiences eating out I’ve had. The service was incredible and this place is definitely a hidden little gem that I recommend to anyone.“
