“Stopped by for a couple of beers on Saturday. It's a brewery with a taproom. Taproom is a pretty cool space with all kinds of options for seating from barstools to comfy couches.Very clean and welcoming and inviting space. The taproom is upstairs above the brew floor so you can check out the beer making process while enjoying your drinks. A tv had college basketball on so we were able to enjoy our team playing ball while we drank our beers.Bartender was helpful and quite nice.“

“We found this little gem while coming back from a trip up in Tennessee. Wanted something different for lunch before a hike up the road. Wow. This place is so good. I can’t say enough about the food. So so good. Had the pulled beef. Man so flavorful. I got the beans and coleslaw. My husband got the pulled pork sandwich. Really great. Piled high and everything is made in house. They don’t have a microwave or a freezer. Nice. Great bbq sauces. The owner is super cool and knows his stuff. You have to check this place out. Plus he has bands play during the week. We are most definitely coming back.“

“We absolutely love this place. We always visit them whenever we are in Asheville. We recommend sitting at the counter. The counter will allow you to be entertained by the staff. We hung out with Derek this time. He is an amazing chef. There's nothing like watching an artist at work.“

“Chai Pani is one of my favorite restaurants in the world! I’ve traveled to 16 countries, and this is easily one of the best if not THE best that I’ve had. The Chicken pakora nuggets, okra fries, and bhel puri are some of the best dishes you could ever taste. We’ve been multiple times and have never been disappointed! We live 2.5 hours ways and have driven it just to eat at Chai Pani.“
“The nickname "Malt Disney World" truly fits. This place is amazing. I took the brewery tour and was extremely impressed with how knowledgeable and friendly Madison was. Afterwards, I had a few beers in the taproom, and honestly I didn't want to leave! Amazing experience from beginning to end, and I can't wait to come back!“
“Fantastic beer. I had a fascinating conversation with the owner who had a refreshing take on his profession. Very down to earth guy with immense knowledge and passion. Visiting Outsider was a highlight of my time spent in Asheville. If you're in town, go pay a visit. You will not be disappointed.“

“There’s a reason this cute spot has 4.9 stars! I’d give it 10 if i could! The donuts are so fresh , they make them to order and the smell when you walk in … incredible. But the obvious star of the show is their amazing donuts! I recommend the glaze and powdered! Loved the staff and the atmosphere!“

“This is my favorite coffee shop in Asheville! I usually get a cappuccino, drip coffee, and one of the pastries and they are all fantastic. Ash always makes a perfect cappuccino with properly steamed milk.I’ll often hang out for an hour or two to work in the cozy cafe. I’ve also brought my three year old to the cafe and she thoroughly enjoyed her experience!“

“Was a really fun new place to try! Food was a bit experimental, especially if you’re going all vegetarian, but the details in the menu show a lot of love and care put in. Since the menu rotates so much, we’ll have to go back and try more. “

“We were recommended to eat here by a friend and we absolutely loved it. We had our 11 month old son with us and they accommodated us by all means. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town. The brisket Mac & cheese was delicious!“

“This place is dialed in. The food was superb and cooked to perfection. The staff was very friendly and professional as well. Atmosphere was very pleasing and we now have a “new go to place” for dining out in the area. This manager should be proud to have such a well run business in this day and age. WELL DONE EVERYONE !“

“What a find.. I am celiac and also allergic to dairy and soy. Their gluten free options are amazing. I had a coconut Matcha latte that was so yummy. My husband thought the coffee was outstanding. We’ll definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: Gluten, dairy and soy“

“I loved the food that I ordered. I got the okra fries, the paneer tikka roll, and chai. My husband and his friend each got the Malai chicken tikka roll. We got takeout because I had to drop the guys off at the airport and then hit the road for a 7 hour drive. The sandwich was good, but the okra fries were incredible! They are sliced paper thin and are not greasy at all, and they have just the right amount of chaat masala on them. The chai was the best chai I have ever had. The guys really liked their chicken sandwiches, too. Unfortunately, I don't live in Asheville, so I don't know when I can come back again. If I did live in Asheville, I would be coming here regularly.Vegetarian options: The vegan and vegetarian dishes are clearly labeled.“

“Oh my goodness, this place is absolutely delicious. Friendly staff and generous portions. I got the lonchera with ropa vieja and it was great. I have never had escabeche before and now I'm addicted! It was the perfect compliment to the savory shredded beef and rice and beans. Looking forward to trying more of their dishes!“

“This place makes an excellent martini (with blue cheese olives). It's a cool environment, somewhat crowded, but the busy-ness adds to the appeal. I think they shine more in cocktails than in food. The burger is made with American cheese, to its detriment. Burrata was good, and the table tried some small Spanish-style fish. We had another OK pasta dish as well. Less likely to return for a meal but happy to come for drinks + apps.“
“It's tough to find a good brew when you have a gluten allergy. Stumbled upon this in Lowes one day and figured I would give it a shot and was not disappointed. Had to take the cruise up there to try everything they had for speciality brews.“

“This place is really unique. I'm not from NC, so when we saw this on yelp, we knew we had to try it out. It's really cool. The drinks are interesting and d the bartenders are super friendly! The vibe is cool if you like unique places. They had a show when we tried to go. They said we just needed to stay in a certain area and didn't charge us extra. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Asheville!“

“A quaint little local spot sporting a delicious selection of coffees, espresso, and pastries. We had a drip coffee, a pour over, and two different croissants and everything tasted great. The pour over didn't have the cleanest pull, but that's only if I'm nitpicking. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, but also bustling enough that I could study or work and enjoy the background as white noise. Our little breakfast was scored by Cage the Elephant's album Social Cues and then some late 2010s J-Pop, which helped make the experience feel cinematic. Definitely will be adding this to the itinerary again next time we visit. We also bought a cute mug to celebrate the occasion!“
“Probably the best brewery experience I've had in 20 years of craft beer tourism. They make great beers and they treat you right, because the people who run it are treated right. This is a great space to relax and talk with friends or make more. Food trucks, indoor and outdoor seating with fire pits, wine and non-alcoholic options, and super friendly service in a beautiful setting. If you don't visit here when in the area, you don't like beer.“
“First time here and we came for brunch! Very friendly staff and quick service! I ordered the shrimp and grits and my boyfriend had the bread pudding waffle and chicken. Both were impeccable. And they did not skimp on the shrimp in the grits! That creole sauce on top of the dish was chefs kiss. Can’t wait to come here again!“

“I was visiting my sisters and their friend in Asheville and was invited to eat at Pizza Mind. My group are all vegetarians, but I am not. They ordered personal sized pizzas with vegetarian toppings. I did get a taste of the Roasted Beets and Cauliflower pizza. It was a very good combination. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and a Caesar side salad. The dressing was authentic with anchovies. I'm not a fan of anchovies, but it was so well balanced, I really didn't mind. I ate the whole thing. The Cuban came on a really great bread. I think it was baked locally and was really fresh. The rest of the sandwich tasted good, but a little skimpy on the meats. I'm used to Florida Cuban sandwiches which are plump with meat. I would visit Pizza Mind again on my next trip to Asheville and try a pizza.“

“Saw White Duck on YouTube and thought we would give it a try. Glad we did, I had the pork belly and the bulgogie tacos, and I have to say the pork belly is by far the best taco I have ever had the pleasure of trying the Korean bulgogie was outstanding as well but the pork belly was a flavor masterpiece!! Great vibe, lots of kids and dogs, lots of outdoor seating. Highly highly recommended.“

“This place is awesome! Did the guided tour and was mesmerized. Shared some appetizers for lunch (wings were the best I’ve had anywhere), had a few beers and hung out at the fire pit a while afterwards. Really cool experience! Planning to go back many times.“
“Grade A++ tiki experience. Excellent service. Got three drinks, one a bowl, all absolutely excellent. The decor is spot on. Only issue was music could have been island tropical but was blues. But I like the blues too. Just not right for the vibe for the decor. But 100% recommend anyone who is tired of all the beer to pop in here and escape to Bali hai.“

“Fun place good food, good sides, friendly staff. Would be five stars, but it is a tad pricey. On the other hand cut em some slack, considering the current economy, the prices are not over the top, they do need to post a profit to stay open.“

“A fun neighborhood restaurant. Lots of choices for omnivores and herbivores alike. We had to wait for a table so we ordered 2 beers from the bar: a stout and a brown ale. Beer, cider, kombucha are on draft. A modest wine list came with the menu when were seated. Both beers were good. For a starter, we ordered the hummus with toasted pita. After, I enjoyed the signature Nine Mile entree with jerk chicken and linguine. Dishes can be served with basmati rice or linguine. The waiter also brought samples of the hot sauce for us to try. We were both too full to entertain dessert. Street parking is available but please be mindful to not block any driveways. One guest had to move their car as it was blocking the loading zone for the restaurant. Definitely worth a visit.“

“Dang so good! I drop into this spot every time I'm in Asheville. It's a must go to if you want the best Cortado in town. It's right on the river so it has a beautiful setting. The baristas really know what they're doing on a pro level.“
“Nice taproom! Great selection of pretty darned good beers (and some other drink options as well). Bartender was nice and helpful. The blues duo that was playing was pretty good. Looks like they've got a lot going on during the week from trivia to game night to open mic. Inside AND outside spaces are very comfortable and inviting.“

“A few of us were in town for business and we stopped in prior to dinner for wine and beer… They have a very nice venue here, great décor and decent list of wines and beer. Service was really friendly and prices are decent. We enjoyed a few items and then moved on, but we enjoyed the stay while we sat & sipped! They also offer small bites here. Would stop in when in the area!“
“Enjoyed getting there at opening time to pull up to the bar and chat with the bartender and staff about liquor and cocktails and the establishment. Very cozy spot with lots of nooks and crannies to sit in and a dark academia theme that makes it look like it’s been there for over 100 years. It’s clear they care about their products and their cocktail menu and we will definitely be back again when we visit Asheville to see what’s new.“

“Parking: During certain times of the day it's hard to find parking due to most residents parking near the restaurant, there is parking across the street at the school but I wouldn't recommend parking there especially as school dismisses because you will be stuck there.Kid-friendliness: I saw school aged children and toddlers as well. Plenty of outdoor seating, I also saw a few doggos sitting outside with their humans.“

“I had been a patient at Mission Hospital for three days. They brought me in my Easter Dinner and I cried. The pork steak was sour. Nothing they had brought me was edible. I truly sat there crying and my nurse came in and I told her I was starving. She sniffed my food and made a face. She told me then, "you know you can order out for delivery". Then she said that when she was a patient there that she ordered out for all meals. I chose PIE:ZAA and ordered a slice of sausage. It was so good. When the nurse brought it to me she said "Good Choice." My stomach was smaller after not eating for three days but I almost killed that giant piece of pizza. It was a good amount and since I've gotten home I wish they delivered up on Rock Knob! I will go out of my way to go there when I am in town and will recommend everyone who will listen :)“

“My wife and I happened to spot this cidery as we were walking through the South Slope area of downtown Asheville. Boy were we happy to bump into this place! A great addition to the many breweries that this area is known for.My wife is a huge fan of ciders. After trying the pick your own flight, she said this was one of the best cider experiences she has had. Sweet ciders, dry ciders, spicy ciders...you name it, they have it. In addition, they have a large assortment of beers as well for anyone who doesn't drink cider.Vibrant and fun place with super friendly staff. Add in some comfy couches, tvs, shuffleboard, pool table and a ping pong table, and you have one fun spot all the way around! Dogs are welcome inside, which is a huge bonus to any pet lover.“
“Good reset from the last place and on its way to becoming a neighborhood favorite. Back to being just a brewery, the has a good selection of English and German styles. Good bar with comfy seats and tables with chairs. Good outside seating with picnic tables. Worth a visit!“

“Simply the best place for a lunch or a breakfast! Also the new brunch is fab. Nothing like a mosaic sandwich sitting outside during the summer watching Biltmore park thrive. “We had absolutely wonderful service & delicious cocktails during our visit in Asheville. Meticulously crafted cocktails by a very knowledgeable mixologist (can’t remember his name). We will definitely be back next time we’re in town.“
“Great bar any location you visit. This location is their distribution center and has a brewery too. Outside seating and I sides seating. Dog friendly. Great beer selection. I got a double ipa that did not dissappoint. Pricing is on par with other local breweries. They offer snacks and soft pretzels at bar. They have a side food cart that I believe offers hot dogs and nachos. Free parking lot and a good amount of parking available.“
“My friends and I stopped in while visiting Asheville from out of state; we were greeted by Erick who was super nice and knowledgeable. He helped us figure out what we wanted and everyone was vera satisfied with what they ordered. Highly reccomend catching a vibe in the outside courtyard.“
“One of the original breweries here in town & one of my favorite breweries for beer in the country. It's a don't miss kind of thing place. Only come for the beer & people watchin. Have a great walk about the arts district or just go for a walk along the river. IMO - they make the best beer of anywhere you'll ever go.“
“Cellarest has an excellent selection of german style beers, many of which come in a delightful half liter mug. The staff is both knowledgeable and friendly. The space is warm and welcoming and full of lovely plants! and there is pup friendly outdoor seating as well.“
“Great coffee, pastries and to-go snacks. This was an awesome addition to Leicester but like some newer spots they aren't that busy yet. Support local! I really think the owners need to invest in better signs out front to draw in customers.“

“Nice downtown coffeehouse that was open on the weekend. Beautiful interior, marble tabletops and walnut paneling. Baristas were very knowledgeable and service was great even though it was about to close. Will definitely be back to try all of the coffee.“
“Great local brewery with a welcoming atmosphere and kind souls. Sweet outdoor corner stage with live music living in the air. Iron and oak bbq available most days until they sell out and they will. Stop in and have a quick one. Belgians are my personal goto with the hazy ipa a close second. This is a local community vibe type of hang out and I will continue to find this place when I need a minute to just be.Ps: Wednesday night blue grass jam should charge admission the folks are so good.. And don't skip Brian playing bass and leads Charlie Hunter style on Thursdays.“

“In Asheville to get married and everyone suggested Posana. They were right! The cuisine was perfection in every regard, and the staff made our night even more special with champagne, tasting spoons, and even a signed card! Highly recommend for a top notch dining experience.“
“We loved the 45-minute brewhouse tour for a bachelorette party! It was just enough information and time for people who are mildly interested in beer but don't need to get into too much detail. Unfortunately, the production facility is not active on the weekends so we couldn't see beer being made. The live music in the pavilion was a great treat too!“

“What a pleasant surprise to find Sunshine Sammies wine visiting Asheville! Enjoyed one of the best tasting strawberry creams I’ve had between warm, freshly baked sugar cookies. “THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO STOP HERE!☕️?such an incredible atmosphere and delicious coffee & chai!! The chai is so flavorful and the perfect balance of spicy and sweet. “The steak tacos were excellent! Lots of cilantro, a few more onions would be good but overall, super yummy. I had the chicken/mexican sausage sopes. The sopes was really chewy and kind of hard. Didn’t get a taste of sausage but enjoyed the flavors. I’ll be back for taco, for sure!“
