It's a little hole in the wall spot. I appreciated seeing the little bit of seating that was there just in case you wanted to eat inside.The only downfall I didn't appreciate was the debt and credit card fee. I used my debt card, including putting in my pin, and it increased my bill to use my card. It was my first time there. I guess it's the price of being a customer these days.If you go, definitely bring cash. I will be back because the food is definitely worth it ??“

“Tia was amazing!!! My son told me he wanted to try this spot he walked past the other day. We were greeted by Tia and she made us feel so welcomed. We ordered fried oreos which were sooo yummy!! I ordered a scoop of butter pecan ice cream which was delicious as well. Tia gave us some history of Clifton and let us know other foods they served at the restaurant. Very homey feeling and great customer service. Will definitely recommend and return.“

“The last time I tasted Jollof rice of the caliber made here was in a local spot in Lagos, Nigeria where it is made in iron pots and cooked with firewood. I don't know how they did it, but it beats every jollof rice I have had in the US so far. I ordered it with chicken for my birthday party and it was a hit. Everyone wanted to take some rice to go after the party.The chef is also the kindest and most personable individual you would ever meet. She added extra portions and a little something on the side to commemorate my birthday and helped me drop off the food too. She has a customer for life.Thank you for the top notch food and over-the-top service experience.“

“I live in Pennsylvania, but my friends ordered from here and now I'll drive all the way back, 80+ miles one way just to get this food. I've had so many different kinds, but this is the best place I've ever had food from. Obviously, we didn't try everything, but they're so super nice and the dumplings with that sauce omgosh can I please buy that in a bottle?Never usually liked those sauces, but it's banging!!!! I'd put that up against any other sauce. Super sweet and the soup damn I'm so hungry. Overall everything we ordered was the best we've ever had. “I got a pick up tonight. I think there was a sudden onslaught of orders and they weren’t prepared for it so it took a bit longer. I think that might also mean they prep everything fresh. The food was worth the wait though. Got the yard fowl pepper chicken and it was delicious and tender. The lemonade was fresh. The owner was kind enough to give a bottle complementary for the longer wait. Thank you for that! I would come back and order again from the store.“

However, the person cooking was really unpleasant when I returned alone one day, and I nearly decided not to return even though I was really craving it. “Tropical Delight serves authentic, absolutely finger licking Jamaican food. Kay is very nice and professional. The delivery drivers are always pleasant and professional as well. My family order from their catering menu all the time for our family get-togethers. My favorite is the curry goat, oxtail, curry chicken, red snapper- hahaha almost everything! My husband loves their fried chicken. Their food is consistent, always delicious, well seasoned, not too salty, and the managers and staff are nice people. There is no Jamaican restaurant within close proximity to where I live, so I’m happy they deliver in my area.“
