“I am a Gluten Free individual that suffers from FOMO. While everyone sits around and enjoys their desserts, I just sit back and watch with a frown on my face. I stumbled upon this place while my daughter was at a nearby piercing establishment. I went in and was greeted by a lovely lady behind the counter. While I was looking at what options were available for me, that lovely lady offered me to sample an item. Never before have I ever been offered a sample of anything Gluten Free. And we all no why that happens. Most of the time the Gluten Free products are horrible; dense, stale, no taste, etc. The item she offered was not good.................it was the best tasting bakery item I have ever had. When I told her that, she offered another item, and another item, and another item. I no longer needed to eat dinner. I was in heaven. I ending up buying three items to take home with me. I shared them with my family members and they agreed that the items was delicious. I will no be a customer for life.......................even so living 50 miles from this bakery.“

“We used A Little Cake for our wedding cake and they truly were incredible to work with! They offered a cake tasting in person, gave us time to think and discuss, didn't rush us to make decisions at all. Their cakes are super moist, not overly sweet, and their designs are so special! We chose coconut cream and cannoli as two of the fillings and guests raved about their desserts! We can't wait to use them again for future events“

“Really impressed! We asked Stuff by SJ to make a custom cake for a pizza-themed birthday party. Working with them (Drew) was super easy and stress free. They were helpful, responsive, well priced and even delivered our cake to the restaurant ahead of the party. Everyone complimented the design and taste of the cake so it was a big hit. I’d definitely go back to them for our next cake.“

My mother, husband and sister all ordered the short ribs special and they all agreed it was over the top delicious. “The three of us went for a late breakfast. We were seated quickly. The place was about 40% full. We ordered food and then the lunch crowd arrived. Our server was very good and took our order with some special notes without fail. This is our fifth time eating here, and Giovanna did not fail on the food. Cheese steak sandwhich had Sautee onions and plenty of thinly sliced steak. It was delicious. We also had eggs over easy, which was done perfectly. The eggs had those fried little eggs of egg whites. Link sausage was tender, juicy, and very flavorful. Scramble eggs were light and tasty, sliced avocados on top were fresh and complemented the dish nicely. It also came with a fresh fruit cup. A complementary refresh on the coffee is a nice touch. The only downside is that when it's busy, the wait time is long. We have waited .45 mins for a table. Street parking only.“

Tables are always full and staff is always friendly. Quality is consistent. My favorite is constantly changing but my family loves the BLK and the patsy.“

“So about 2 weeks ago I tasted the most absolutely delicious piece of dessert I ever had and I just had to find the bakery it came from and the rest is history I live in Rockaway and they're located in Montclair and it was worth the trip.Let me tell you this place did not disappoint at all. Apart from the Pistachio mousse, I also got a donut with that delicate Pistachio mousse inside simply heavenly!!!!!! Thank you, Gia, for your wonderful service.“

“This is a wonderful French bakery with truly authentic French breads and pastries. I got a couple of loaves of fig and walnut bread that were discounted, and almond croissant that another customer convinced me to get, a turkey Brie and apple sandwich and I had actually ordered two croissants but for some reason they didn’t make it in my bag. I think there was a misunderstanding with the other customer; no matter, an excuse to return! The sandwich bread (a mini French baguette) was surprisingly crisp on the outside and didn’t at all get soft when I returned home 1.5 hrs later to enjoy it. Everything just looks and smells good. I look forward to returning.“

“Sweet Avenue Bake Shop is our go to for birthday cakes and they have the best Vegan Cupcakes! My kids ask every year to get their birthday cake from here. We stop in and uber eat cupcake all the time when we have cravings. Danielle and her team are absolutely amazing always super friendly. Their little bake shop is modern with a retro flair which makes it super cute to visit! They are a huge asset to Rutherford! Be sure to stop in and grab a cupcake! You will be hooked! They are the best! :)“

“This place is beyond especially if you are gluten free. I really wish more places had this quality of gluten free goods as well as such great options. There are also so many sugar free options as well (keto) which is excellent. My husband is not gluten free nor super sugar conscious and also loves everything from here!A few things that would make this place better to consider: being closed Sunday and Monday is tough if that was mid week it would make my purchases probably 2x in frequency, can you sell mini sized cookies or cookies in 12 packs? Thats definitely one of the best items I would buy that weekly.“

“One of the best pizzas I have had in NJ if not the best. Everything was spot on from the dough to the sauce to the amount of cheese and toppings. It’s so good that my 2-year-old daughter who hates pizza ate a whole slice for the first time. The people there are nice as well. Solid pizza spot ? I highly recommend it.“

“Jim, the Maitre'D was absolutely fabulous! Three if us show up at 6:00. They are totally booked.. He squeezed us in at a perfect little table that he created for us. Everything was with a smile and graciousness. And then we had a surprise guest! So we squeezed her in also... once again Jim was fabulous...but then of course his assistant Steven was right by his side...he gave us impeccable service. The room filled up fast and there was a waiting line out the door. Excellent food! Exceptional service! Best of all the prices are unbelievably reasonable. Check it out. “passed by this place during black friday and they immediately hooked me w/ the buy one drink, get one 50%. i got the lychee crepe and it was honestly super delicious, i was tempted on getting another one. we absolutely inhaled it LOL. the staff was super fast and efficient (although it took about 10 minutes to get our order due to the long long); but honestly, seeing the workers working nonstop and genuinely doing their job made me respect them and give them the 5 stars+tip. may be just a stand in the mall but they're better than the store in fort lee! definitely check it out if you're in the mall“

You walk in and aside from the squad of friendly workers at both main counters you'll first encounter the amazing breads (and treats). All the shapes, styles and sizes your carb-loving heart desires will be found on one of these racks. Expertly made... dense, sturdy, flavorful, with a mighty crust (that'll give your Fixodent a workout!). Take a few steps towards the 'back' and now you're at the deli and it's overflowing with options. Each item looks bewitching and alluring and before you can even finish saying, "A pound of..." - somehow it's already sliced and bagged and the guy is waiting on the next item you need. (Maybe it's that luscious square of eggplant parm that they've intentionally left "posed" on top of the spatula or the Italian hot dog platter or that mountain of sauteed broccoli rabe that you know it's going to have that perfect 'bite'.) And as soon as you get home you immediately start crafting what's to be a most perfect sandwich with their seeded semolina, fresh ball of mootz (so creamy and delectable), and a few other odds-and-ends you snagged. The service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and efficient. Robert personally attends to his guests to ensure everything is going well. “Location was lovely, service was ok. Food was great. Only 1 think I didn't like. I said no tomatoes, made a point of expressing it a few times. Bacon, chicken sandwich ? had tomatoes. (Mine you, I can take it out myself, but I don't like tomatoes, it wets the bread the seeds stay on the sandwich.) I asked them if they were just going to remove the tomatoes and give Me the same sandwich. Cause I can do that myself.) The waiter said they would make me another one. They didn't they took the sandwich for 10mins and just removed the tomatoes. I could have done that myself, that's why I ask. I got pink stained wet bread, now cold, with the tomato seed. I hate that they said they would make another to just bring me the same one. What is the point of asking people how they want their meals. If you are just going to do whatever. I DIDN'T LIKE THAT AT ALL. THOUGHT THAT WAS TRASHY.“

“Recently ordered a custom cake for my daughter’s Sweet 16, and they did not disappoint. She wanted three cakes (vanilla, chocolate, and the signature apple cake) designed to theme and this was perfection. I would have been happy enough because of how great they complemented the lavender butterfly theme, but they were so delicious there was almost nothing to take home! Definitely recommend!“

“OMG I ordered out ,I’m staying at a hotel, I never ate from this place before but I am a food connoisseur. I’m mostly let down by takeout or deliveries so I was skeptical but I have to say the food is impeccable. The service is impeccable. They were fast with delivery and I swear it made my stay away from home so much better ,I’m half Italian and I felt like I was back home with my family and that’s a rarity for me as a traveling registered Covid Response nurse. “I ordered a Custom Assortment of Bundtinis Box for a get-together from the Paramus shop. It's 12 bundtinis for $29.50 (plus tax and a $1 online service fee). I chose each of the regular flavors plus I tried out the seasonal flavor currently out right now (Lemon Blueberry - so good!). I was a fan of Strawberries & Cream and Snickerdoodle. The woman who helped me out was friendly and explained how to keep the box level to avoid damage, and how long the sweets would last. She even held open the box cover while I took a picture.
