“Currently visiting from Australia, what was only meant to be a quick pub feed turned into our favourite place in NY. Breifne was amazing, he always had outstanding customer service and smile on his face even in the busiest times. His friendly and welcoming attitude resulted in us returning 5 times through out our stay. Thoroughly enjoyed many delicious margaritas made by him! Overall was a great environment that made us feel safe and relaxed with a great atmosphere.“

“I came here the Friday before St. Patrick's day and was not disappointed. They had live music on a small stage with a large crowd singing along to Irish folk tunes. The atmosphere was lively and reminded me a lot of Dublin pubs.The service was a bit slow, as there were too many patrons and too few bartenders. If they could improve that ratio, this place would be a fantastic place.“

One can choose any burger on their extensive burger menu with a side of fries or onion rings for less than 20 bucks, it’s a deal I’m willing to sign up for every day.We went on a Thursday late afternoon and place was energetic and lively, just what you expect from a well-known busy tavern. I can only imagine what it’s like on weekends when they have live band.Donovan’s is the real deal.“

Tara, brian, eoin, everyone who works here, theyre just gems. Its not easy to work a midtown bar and still be kind, but they are. I owe them everything. The drinks are a good price as well during brunch and I would love to come back again alone or with friends. It’s small and the seating is a bit tight but it’s a good place to hang out. Definitely give it a try if you are in the area! The brunch burger was delicious and cooked how I like it but the main star for me were the truffle fries.“

“Ordered a pint of beer of the day (7$) and a burger with fries (15$). Later I had a guinness (10$). Food was somehow boring, there were no salad at the burger only at the side, and the onions were not fresh. For the price still ok. Anyway the vibe was good and the staff was friendly. Would recomend.“

“I had the Broiled Lamb Chops with mint jelly. It was tasty and tender. The baked potato tasted like it was just harvested. My meal came out within 30 minutes, and it was worth the wait. I will definitely return to try something else on the menu.“

We have eaten at Jack Jones on five different occasions and each time the food was amazing. We just went for the 2023 Rockefeller tree and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. so happy they were decorated for the holidays. 100% go to in our opinion.“

“Big group of us (over 20) called in for breakfast before a match in Gaelic Park. Service, cleanliness and staff hospitality were second to none, before I even mention the food. Breakfast was so good we called back after the match for dinner. Even though it was very busy the staff, accommodated us and the food was excellent, would highly recommend for both food quality and price. Special mention to Danielle who couldn't do enough to make our two visits to the Whlistin Donkey very worth while.“

“Tommy Fox's Public House in Bergenfield, New Jersey is a cool bar that has that cool Irish pub feel to it. The service was friendly and the customers were pretty friendly here, as well. I did not try any of the food, but it looked to be what you would expect from a bar. This is definitely a cool.place to gather with some friends and overall, I would recommend here.“

“Great local Irish bar. I was staying a week at a nearby hotel and this place had the exact Irish bar feel I needed. I instantly felt like a regular they were glad to see, coming and going. Proper for an Irish place. Good pours on the beers. “Great dive bar right next to the 30th St subway stop. When my friends and I noticed they had $3 PBRs, we were sold. Bartender also gave us a buyback on our 3rd beer! Too bad they didn't serve any food though. Very mixed crowd of all ages. They have bands on weekends sometimes and I noticed they had a sign indicating live Bluegrass Sundays. If they ever got a jukebox that only played Irish and bluegrass music, then I would give them 5 stars. But, had to take away a star for the crappy music some people were playing on the jukebox.“
