“Very grateful for Joyce’s tavern and their staff. We were able to enjoy a great meal in between viewings for my grandpas wake around back at Scalias.Joyces was ready for all 25+ of us. Ken was behind the bar and served us quickly. The wait staff was amazing and brought out the food as quickly as we ordered it to ensure we made it back for the next session. The food was amazing as always. Corned beef was the #1 ordered item and everyone was blown away.Thank you Joe, Joe and Kenny“

“O'Hara's Restaurant and Pub is hands down my favorite spot in New York City, and it's become my go-to place for almost every weekend outing. Located in the heart of the Financial District, this gem is more than just a restaurant or a pub – it's a place brimming with history, warmth, and some of the best drinks you'll ever have. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by an incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They always make you feel like part of the family. The owner is often around, mingling with guests and making sure everyone is having a great time. His friendliness and genuine interest in his patrons are a huge part of what makes this place special. Now, let's talk about the drinks. They offer a fantastic selection of beers, cocktails, and spirits that cater to every taste. The bartenders here really know their craft. Whether you're in the mood for a classic Guinness or something more adventurous, they’ve got you covered. I've tried many places in the city, but the drinks here are simply on another level – consistently top-notch and expertly made.Beyond the drinks and the welcoming atmosphere, this place holds a significant spot in the community’s heart due to its deep connection with 9/11. The walls are adorned with badges and memorabilia from first responders, making it a poignant and respectful tribute to the heroes of that day. It’s impossible not to feel a sense of reverence and respect as you sit among these tokens of bravery and sacrifice. One of the best kept secrets here is the "Album." If you ask the staff about it, they'll bring out a book filled with photos, letters, and memories from people who have visited over the years. It’s a touching collection that adds a personal and historical depth to your visit, reminding you of the community spirit that thrives in this place. It is more than just a pub for me – it's a place where memories are made and shared. I've taken all my friends here, and every single one of them has fallen in love with it just like I did. The combination of great service, outstanding drinks, and rich history creates an experience that is hard to beat.If you’re ever in New York City, do yourself a favor and stop by. Enjoy a drink, soak in the atmosphere, and be sure to ask about the "Album." You won’t regret it.“

“Terrific Irish pub. My colleagues and I stopped by after a late night project. They have 22 beers. Lots of other drinks. Food was standard fare but very good. Generous portions. You have to get up and look around the pub. The ceiling above the bar, the statuary and the stained glass were just a few of the neat items at the Wicked Monk. Our waitress and the bus boys were awesome!“

“Amazing staff, from the door guy to the bartenders and everyone in between. As someone who is fairly new to the city, I went to check out this bar to find my new favorite and I think I have. Highly recommended. You can’t beat a $10 beer and shot deal anywhere.“
“Stumbled in here with a friend for the open mic night and was persuaded to stay and had an absolute blast! It was my first time in NY and the hospitality was amazing. Antonio squeezed in a time slot for my friend and he performed one song. Great atmosphere and friendly patrons!“
“A great local gay dive bar, and pretty much the only one in central NJ. Of course it’s nothing like Paradise or Feathers, but it’s local, easy to get to, and a great addition to the community. Drinks and affordable and strong, Friday nights are always busy, and it’s nice to have a LGBTQ meetup spot nearby so I don’t have to drive all the way to north Jersey or the Jersey shore.“

“Best part - service & kitchen open until late, we had full dinner close to 11 PM on Easter weekend. Good portions, draft beer & cocktails. They also have a big list of whiskey - a separate menu addition.Tried: chicken fingers (very good), Bangers & Mash (excellent), Deli Style Ruben ( good). Washed with Guinness Stout & Snake Bite.Suggestions: Bangers & Mash is a must, add preferred whiskey or Snake Bite“
