The griot (fried pork) in the sand which was so well seasoned and well cooked. It was soft on the inside but crispy on the outside, everything you could ask for with griot. It included a secret sauce that was INCREDIBLE. The place was a cute takeaway spot with a few seats. I began to chat with the woman at the front and asked her who's recipe was the secret sauce. It was hers! She was so nice and had a wonderful energy. Definitely coming back here soon, will become a Brooklyn staple for me. (To the owner: don't give that secret sauce recipe away!)“

“This place was highly recommended by my son, as one of his favorite deli / bodega places in Park Slope area. Two times we were taking out a Super chick sandwich - sliced chicken breast, melted cheddar, roasted peppers on a roll for $7.99 it was really good. Another choice was All American sandwich - turkey, roast beef, provolone, lettuce and tomato on a hero for $9.99. I was not able to finish it in one seating (this was humongous sandwich with a nice portion of meats and cheese). It was always really busy, with a lot of customers either ordering on the spot or like me coming to pick it up. Definitely the place to eat, next time we are in Park Slope.“

“We came around 4:45 am after a rave and were ready to eattt!! The people there were very friendly and it seemed so fun to finally get to try the famous chopped sandwiches! There was a line about like 3-4 people in front of us which was enough time for us to look at the extensive menu! When it was our turn, we wanted the Cajun roast beef and another turkey one but they didn't have it. (Might've been because it was early morning on a weekday) We decided to throw in spicy Doritos to it because we seen they do that here! Luckily the person in front of us were getting samples of the smoked turkey and it was amazing! fresh thin and flavorful! And it wasn't dry!!! (Very important because turkey usually so dry) We got the hero and in the sandwiches, we added lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo, vinegar, and salt and pepper! My partner added pickles! We read a review that the full chop was too fine for her tasting so we decided to try half chop for our first time and it was just right! We then toasted at home because we like our bread crispy and it was sooo delicious! Truly amazed me and I would definitely go again. The half chop was just the right texture and with mayo on the bread it wasn't dry. My partner and I both think the smoked turkey was better because the flavor from the smoked turkey really enhancement sandwich. Their smoked meats really are smoked in the best way and fresh! This place is a must try place and I will be going back again to try something new :)“

The Gentleman comes to deliver he is very nice and the coffee and food are hot and delicious. “The prettiest salad I ever had in a deli. I had their “ocean side salad” that is beyond delicious. Big trunk of tuna, fresh greens, and fresh feta cheese.
