“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this cozy Korean spot, and I was immediately struck by its vibrant atmosphere. Despite being busy and crowded, it contributed positively to the overall experience, creating an energetic and authentic vibe. The restaurant boasts a compact menu, a refreshing change that made choosing what to eat a breeze, without the usual decision fatigue. A standout dish for me was the lotus salad – unfortunately, I didn’t snap a picture, but believe me, it’s a must-try. The salad was delightfully crispy, featuring a medley of flavors that danced on the palate. On the flip side, the pork cheek, while tantalizing in photos, fell short of expectations. It had a gamy taste that was off-putting, and the flavors, far from being bold, were disappointingly muted. The broth, however, was a high point. The beef broth was rich and flavorful, a real treat. We also tried the seafood baguette, which was a mixed bag. The bread, unfortunately, was not toasted, leaning towards the stale side, but the seafood filling itself was delicious.Dessert was another highlight – the sweet corn crème brûlée. It was an inventive take on a classic dessert, perfectly paired with white chocolate, making for a memorable end to our meal.Overall, this restaurant is a fantastic find. Despite a few hiccups, the quality of the dishes and the unique dining experience make it a place worth visiting.“

“My boyfriend and I visited here for some quick late night food and we arrived shortly before closing. The overall atmosphere was great and the decor was aesthetically pleasing. We ordered everything at once because the kitchen was closing and they still pacer out our meal. The service was impeccable and all of the food and dessert was amazing. (especially the cuttlefish) We will defend be back!“

“We enjoyed our meal at KJUN so much. The atmosphere is intimate, casual and friendly and the food is just extraordinary. Every dish tastes unique and fuses the two cuisines perfectly. We loved the light, fluffy cod beignets. The watermelon salad was delicious and the portion was quite generous. My NOLA BBQ shrimp was amazing. The buttery sauce is the best part! My son loved his po’boy and my husband’s crawfish bibimbap was gone before I could photograph it. The desserts (dalgona bananas foster and strawberry yummy) were both innovative interpretations on classics. Everyone we encountered here from the kitchen staff to the gentleman who served us to Chef Jung herself was friendly and lovely. I would absolutely recommend KJUN and am already planning to return to experience the tasting menu.“

“The menu at Gaonnuri is a delightful blend of traditional Korean flavors with a modern twist. I started with the Seafood pancake, which was crispy on the outside and packed with fresh, flavorful seafood. For the main course, I opted for the Premium Set, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The meat was tender and succulent, and the seasoning was spot on. The attention to detail in both the presentation and the preparation of the dishes is truly impressive. Each plate was a work of art, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. I also appreciated the excellent service provided by William & his colleague - thus, complimenting the overall experience. The ambiance at Gaonnuri is sophisticated yet inviting, making it a perfect spot for both special occasions and casual dinners. The combination of the stunning views, exquisite food, and impeccable service creates a dining experience that is second to none“

“This place was such a vibe! We got Ala carte chicken drumsticks because the bucket list seemed too much and we made sure to try all the different sauces and glaze. The gochujang glaze was amazing! Also highly recommend the cold perilla seed noodles - so light, refreshing & delicious.Service was friendly and attentive and we loved the ambience and decor of the place. So many high end soaps to wash your hands with at the start we were spoilt for choice!Highly recommend to visit at least once in NYC.“

“We reserved a table here via Resy. It was pretty booked up far in advance, but I heard this place was good somewhere online. We loved ramen and Asian noodles so we were looking forward to this.We were bummed that our table was right next to the front door and the draft from people coming in and out of the front door was pretty chilly. We didn’t come super hungry and didn’t try any appetizers.I ordered the family Ranyum which our waiter said was his favorite. My boyfriend got the wagyu Ramyun.I loved the rich pork flavor of the family ramyun, lots of mushrooms, and the soy egg that I added was really tasty and unique.I tried the wagyu ramyun, it has a very strong beef flavor which my boyfriend liked a lot.We have not tried many ramyun dishes (mostly ramen and other Asian soups) but both the dishes we tried were some of the best noodles we’ve ever had.“

“This Place Does Pork Belly RIGHT!Had an awesome time here! They specialize in Korean BBQ, but with a focus on pork belly, and let me tell you, it's next-level.The star of the show is definitely the 60-day aged pork belly. It's bursting with flavor, and you can really taste the difference! The meat quality in general is fantastic, and the staff is friendly and super fun. It's the perfect spot to grab some soju and pig out with friends. They even have their own beer brewed in Brooklyn. Definitely recommend trying it out if you're looking for something new. Overall, a great experience - highly recommend!“

“Really beautiful space with lovely food and great service. I was expecting a bit more from the food tbh for the price (not sure what though because I have no real complaint but it wasn't spectacular other than the mixed fritter appetizer which was the best tempura I've ever had). All in all 4.5 stars.“

TomatoesThey were all beautifully constructed, and tasty but man those corn dumplings were something else, and man those tomatoes are not really worth the money. I don't see how this is a Korean restaurant but ?“

“One of the few AYCE KBBQ spots in the area. Even on a Friday afternoon, this place gets really busy to the point where you have to wait for a table. The price per person is relatively fair compared to other places but I feel like you get fewer options for the Lunch menu. Normally, I would prefer more options but this time I liked having fewer options since I ordered more of the same meats. Rice, side dishes, dipping sauces, and fresh lettuce are all included in the AYCE. Drinks are not.“

“There's no sign on the street, so look for the address and take the elevator to the 2nd floor. Really great Korean BBQ, delish japchae (maybe the best I've ever had) and excellent kimchi pancake. Extremely fast service. If you're hungry, you won't wait long. Yum yum yum“

“For my birthday there was nothing more. I wanted them tasting menu from this fantastic place! From the disco ball in the bathroom to the amazing period of cocktails, you will leave here craving more! The best Caesar anything I’ve ever had, boneless chicken bites, which I thought were crazy, but I ate the whole thing! Honey butter, tater tots that were so melt in your mouth, decadent and delicious fighting my friend over the last bite! The toast is also next level! And of course, I would be remiss if I did not mention the famous burger! Juicy tender and delicious.. then not one but two desserts and they sang to me ! “Full street food vibes. Three stores lined together serving mochinuts, iced teas, and hot dog rolls. Tried the vegetarian Cheetos Flamin Hot All Mozzarella Hotdog. Price $8.7 for one. Super heavy and crunchy! Tasted great. Sauces make it even better. Surely recommend the place to try hotdogs once. Boom Boom sauce and Cheddar Cheese sauce are unique and taste great!Vegetarian options: One vegetarian option“

“Korean food that is already very good, turned up to 11 with western influences! Highly recommend the wings, kimchi fried rice w egg, galbi jjim and truffle japchae, but honestly, if I’d tried the whole menu I think I would recommend everything. It’s just that consistent! Also, if I could give the atmosphere 6 stars I would. The owner has been really meticulous at decorating the place. The floral notes you get upon entering and the multitudes of wall decor were just heavenly.A little understaffed though. They weren’t that slow, but boy were they busy.Vegetarian options: Grass, roots, leaves, bark“

“I shared a gomtang bowl with extra pork with a friend, as well as a plate of mandu. Both dishes were fantastic. The mandu is especially flavorful given that they are vegetarian and made with tofu. They also dont skimp out on the pork in the gomtang, so keep in mind that it will be a heavier meal. The rice and broth are very tasty as well. The kimchi they served on the side was fresher than most korean restaurants I've been to – I'm definitely a fan. They sell 16oz packs of it for just $5 which feels like a steal!PS. I did not get a drink, but my friend who has tried a few of their drinks said she wasnt too impressed given the price.“

“Similar to other sushi/handroll bars. The rolls here are Korean flavors so don't expect the traditional sushi handrolls. The flavors are nice I really like the Korean twist to one of my favorite foods. Only one thing is that the seaweed wasn't crispy.“

“Venturing into the world of Korean-inspired cocktails at this reception bar was an adventure in itself.Infused with distinct Korean spices, each cocktail boasted an exuberant, yet light and invigorating taste, painting an unmistakably Asian flavor palette. While the menu was compact, it was a treasure trove of unique concoctions. The bar exuded a charmingly unpretentious ambiance, albeit slightly marred by smudged and weathered menus, giving it an endearing, rustic feel.Exploring this space was a delightfully curious experience for us. However, the service, although possibly attributed to the opening phase, felt a tad neglectful and somewhat distant.Nonetheless, the allure of the place and the captivating flavors of the beverages made our visit intriguing and worthwhile.Parking: No parking at allKid-friendliness: No kids, please)“

“I live in the Lower East Side, and this has been on my "to check out list" for way too long. My girlfriend and I finally had the chance to have a nice evening dinner here. Everything was amazing. The ambience, service, cocktails, and the overall uniqueness of the restaurant was extremely memorable. I have eaten at many different Korean restaurants in NYC, and 8282 was unique and distinct. We sat at the bar, and had a great personal conversation with Erica, who was kind enough to share with us the story of 8282, and make menu and drink suggestions, all of which were on point. We will be back!“
