“Was here for a team dinner on a work trip & everything was fantastic. We ordered more than half the menu for the 6 of us and loved every bit of it. The pork belly was my favorite, but even the hummus with a variety of vegetables to dip gave a lovely assortment of textures and the plating was just pretty Service was exceptional and staff was very friendly and attentive. The open-concept kitchen was different but it was nice. Whoever was in charge of the music should also keep that aux cord! Awesome vibes!“

“My boyfriend and I visited here for some quick late night food and we arrived shortly before closing. The overall atmosphere was great and the decor was aesthetically pleasing. We ordered everything at once because the kitchen was closing and they still pacer out our meal. The service was impeccable and all of the food and dessert was amazing. (especially the cuttlefish) We will defend be back!“

“I wouldn’t call Katana a dive bar, but on a Tuesday night it felt like a great neighborhood bar. Relaxed atmosphere. Was surprised at how small it was but that added to the chill vibe. I bet on a Thirsty Thursday and the weekend that all changes, but the bartenders and the craft cocktails will be just as great.“

“On a recent Saturday night, my friends and ventured to Le Rock for dinner. I always eyeball the menu before trying a new restaurant and I was all in for the spiced duck. It was some of the best duck that I've ever had. It was so flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. My friends and I started off with a few cocktails and appetizers. I ordered the escargot, and my friends the barbajuans, falafel, and carrottes rapees, and of course the pommes frites. For the main course, my friends went for the halibut. The three of them were all members of the clean-plate club. I love my desserts and I love it even more when I get a little taste of everything. Luckily for me the dessert menu has Les Mignardises. I ordered for the table thinking "hmmm...maybe one of my friends will pass and I'll get more!" There's nothing more fun for me than tiers of bite-sized sweet goodness. Lots of variety to make everyone happy (macarons, cannelés, fruit gelees, opera cake etc.) If you're stuffed from dinner, this will satisfy your sweet tooth without making you loosen that belt or wish you wore a flowy dress to dinner instead of that bodycon fit.“

“It’s as good as everyone says it isWe ordered half the menu & nothing was less than fantastic. Cocktails were all good, boozy, and well crafted. We loved the scotch egg, and honestly the fries were something to write home about. Duck pie & the burger were the stars of the meal.“

“I had the privilege of celebrating my 40th birthday at Undercote. No doubt wifey hit a home run with the venue selection, which purely gave her more juice to tackle every detail. Shout-out to the events manager for providing all the necessary reinforcement. My only job was to show up and prepare to be blown away. The staircase to access Undercote is not quite a hidden secret, but nonetheless a private portal to my own personal playground. Weeks of suspense continued to escalate as I descended towards a deeper revelation: this wild change of scenery felt like after-hours at Jurassic Park hosted by Pink Floyd. At first glance, the stylish exclusivity would satisfy any VIP. But the subtle blend of mystic-utopian vibes are far more appealing, especially for weirdos like me seeking to escape everyday surroundings. As 20 guests began to trickle in, the accumulation of jaw-dropping reactions was a sign of things to come. Cocktail hour set the bar high with a pair of refreshing seafood towers. While the main restaurant upstairs specializes in Korean barbeque, our dinner at Undercote was customized to feature the finest cuts of meat plus a few surprises. As the man-of-the-hour, I completely lost track of time. As a hungry artist, I simply found inspiration. This wasn't just a tasting menu but rather an invitation to explore unknown dimensions of the culinary world; one that embraces Korean culture and oozes steakhouse nirvana. The chef dares to open your mind with every bite (except for the wagyu; anything that moist intensifies with a gentle nibble). I even savored the anticipation between servings like a fine-dining parade. No wonder I was floating when the caviar/uni popped up. Every aspect of this experience was on some next level sh*t. Not to mention the employees and their unparalleled service. As if my heart wasn't already full of memories, the entire staff generously offered to take pictures throughout the night; one of the many ways they embodied customer service in a flash. Even dietary restrictions were accommodated with flair. Their professional IQ is unmatched and almost appears effortless like the '92 Dream Team. For what it's worth, I didn't forget to post this review last year. Let's just say I'm going back to Cote this weekend for an unforgettable anniversary dinner, and wanted to relive the moment before indulging in Part 2...“

“Everything was good, but the consensus between my friends and I were that we weren't really wowed by anything besides the desserts. For a group of 4, ordered 8 dishes (mostly heavier ones), 3 desserts, and 4 drinks, and we were all satiated.“

“Fluke was fabulous. Duck confit a little too salty, but then again, I’m on a low sodium diet. Divine dessert! We dined for over two hours, but they didn’t rush us. I truly appreciate that as I’m experiencing certain restaurants, mind you not cheap, asked us to vacate our table for the waiting patrons…..“

“This is a great place for a first date, dinner out with a large group, or brunch. Food was quite good. Dishes are made to share. The bread basket alone is a meal and sooo delish! Ceviches were well done. Wine list is very well done. It has quality wine for all budgets and has been put together with a more modern approach. Kudos to the beverage director! The space is big - high ceilings, with nice lighting, fun lounge tables for groups and a nice circular bar. I would close those curtains as what's on the outside is industrial, not worth looking at; and all those car lights and fluorescent lighting from buildings and such intervene with the nice ambience inside. Service was welcoming and warm, however something was missing. Dishes came out of the kitchen very slow. Our waiter got our order wrong. We ended up with a dish we didn't order (it was comped) and didn't get the dish we wanted. Perhaps the service level is why this nice space was half full on a Saturday night. Are they trying to match the number of reservations to the serving capacity of the kitchen? Overall an intriguing experience though and the price is just right. I would like to try Hav & Mar again. It has potential and if they fix the service and fine tune the ambiance, they might become a top dining destination.“

“Hesitating to write this review only because it was such an amazing experience. Was surrounded by omakase heads including fans who had flown cross country or driven hours specifically for Nakaji. And after experiencing it firsthand I could understand why… the uni is a generationally procured treasure (generously served!), the hand roll was (not an exaggeration) the best I’ve had in my life, and the chef was more than happy to share in the revelry of his culinary masterpiece alongside his disciples. Oh not to mention the hospitality and warmth from the hosts (shoutout Sabrina!) and bartender at every step of the way. Wow… I guess I’m an Omakase head now too!“

“The menu at Gaonnuri is a delightful blend of traditional Korean flavors with a modern twist. I started with the Seafood pancake, which was crispy on the outside and packed with fresh, flavorful seafood. For the main course, I opted for the Premium Set, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The meat was tender and succulent, and the seasoning was spot on. The attention to detail in both the presentation and the preparation of the dishes is truly impressive. Each plate was a work of art, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. I also appreciated the excellent service provided by William & his colleague - thus, complimenting the overall experience. The ambiance at Gaonnuri is sophisticated yet inviting, making it a perfect spot for both special occasions and casual dinners. The combination of the stunning views, exquisite food, and impeccable service creates a dining experience that is second to none“

“Arrived just after opening on a Tuesday night. Head mixologist/bartender Cyllan walked me through a few of his favorites and had me sampling everything from his frozen rum punch (absolutely delightful) to his green bean pickle brine (very briny). They made me a pisco sour from last season's menu and followed it up with the Mai Tai. Both were good, better than good even. They use a vegan foaming agent instead of egg white, if that sort of thing matters to you. Average price around $19/drink at the time of this writing. The rest of the staff was attentive and friendly. The music was a bit loud for 4:30PM on a Tuesday. Bathroom was clean.“

“Food was supreme here. I had the raw clams, fresh and presented well. Cocktail sauce was done with care. My main was spaghetti and clams in tomato sauce with arugula salad and a touch of spring onions, that was a very fine detail. The effort was notable in the food. Service could be more disciplined though, some staff prioritise chatting with each other over customer service. The dining room was tastefully decorated. Would love to come back but I live too far.“

“We came in last Thursday night for some pre dinner drinks while on vacation and we're so glad we found this spot! Our trip was drink/food focused and the bartenders here did not disappoint. My husband and our friend had a "Ramos Gin Fizz", (which was literally like the best cocktail I have ever tasted), I would have had one myself but I was already three deep into the Cucumber Mint Collins (which was also delicious)! There was a great live band playing and it was just what we needed after not being in the city for so long. Can't wait to come back!! Did I mention the bartenders were awesome? (It needed to be said twice).“

“L’Artusi continues to be a solid standard in the Village for Italian. The bucatini, the picci, the cinnamon chocolate chip cookies, and the chicken are all consistent standouts for me. That being said, we had three appetizers last night (burrata, little gems, and the tuna crudo) which were all under seasoned. I would add the Cappeleti to that list as well. All could have used some salt, etc.The other part that just can’t be avoided is waiting even though you have a reservation. We had a 9:15, were on time, and sat down around 10pm!! Will likely be back, but there are also many other wonderful Italian spots in the Village….“

“This is simply a world-class restaurant. The food here is superb. The hospitality is the best I've experienced in the city in years, and possibly ever. Dennis et al, offer unparalleled service in a warm and unstuffy manner. The $75 price fix at lunch is easily the best value in town. “

“Went to Superbueno after the Bad Bunny conocer with my friends. We were able to be seated ride away, our drinks were tasty and pork belly tacos savory, rich with flavor. My mouth is legit watery thinking back about it. The music and vibe was popping. But what stood out to me the most was the service and workers, they looked like they enjoyed working there, all smiles and friendly. I love that. Would definitely come back!“
