“Went back to Ravagh yesterday and again, the food was superb.Get the chicken thighs. Delicious! The food here is outstanding! I had the chicken thigh meat kabobs marinated in saffron and never have i had such tender moist chicken before. The char from the grill is out of this world. I asked for no rice, only vegetables, and they too were grilled to perfection. As I was eating the veggies I was thinking about ordering veggies to go and making other dishes at home like pasta or veggies with rice.Anyway, if you go for lunch you also get a cup of their delicious Persian red lentil soup and crazy good Persian bread with a yummy dipping sauce.Amazing food.Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian but their grilled veggies are so good I would return just for that.“

“I ordered the lamb shank served with green rice (dill and and fava bean). The rice, for most, would be under-seasoned, I appreciated the way it was as I tend to like to control the amount of salt. The lamb shank was fall of the bone tender. The broth was light and delicious! The meal came with fresh bread and a yogurt and mint sauce (very refreshing), and a side of green sauce (cilantro, garlic, jalapenos - super zesty!) I would have liked to try their appetizers but I knew this was going to be a lot of food for one. The portion size is generous. My only complaint is that the dill rice was not as fresh as I would have like (dill lost some of its brightness) but that’s a small thing.I would like to come again and try their other dishes to update the review/rating.“

“Incredibly phenomenal! I live a block away and Eyval has been on my list for over a year. My besties are in town and I finally obtained a reservation. We enjoyed everything even though we were wildly exhausted from a busy day. We had the whipped feta, cabbage & date salad, potatoes, scallops, lamb ribs, chicken entree. We loved everything we ordered including the drinks where we had red wine and the iced tea old fashioned. I live so close but it's so hard to get a table at Eyval. I wish they did to go orders!“

“I was under the impression Masquerade opened under a year ago, I was wrong. They've been open for about two years and somehow I've only heard about them recently. Nestled under the J with an unassuming storefront, find Masquerade. Consider this your notice to get over to Masquerade and basque in the Iranian delights that they're serving up. Everything we ate and drank was great - big flavors and they not too shabby on the creativity level either. Here's what we got for a party of two; we shared everything and it was the perfect amount. “Such a lovely dinner! Food made my mouth water and had so much flavor. I had the hummus and chicken, both fantastic. Highlight was when the team brought me out a sample of the fesenjoon at the end of the meal because they wanted me to try it and I’d been torn at the start of the meal. Absolutely worth it. Very cozy, will certainly be back!“

“My love for Persian food developed while visiting the West Coast. It's been hard to find many spots in the Northeast that serve Persian food that's even comparable to what you get in the West Coast. My friend and I found this spot nearby in North Jersey, and we had to give it a try.We stoped in on a Friday evening to a fairly busy restaurant. The owner acknowledged and greeted us immediately. The dining style is pretty casual where customers can sit at any open table. We were very glad to find Tahdig on the menu, since my friend had been wanting to try it for a while. The owner took our appetizer and entree orders promptly after bringing over some fresh bread. He was the only employee waiting all of the tables, and he did managed to provide excellent service. Our Tahdig came out first, topped with our choice of Gheimeh (beef and split pea stewed in tomato sauce). This my first time trying stew on top of Tahdig, and I was surprised at how well it complemented the dish. The crispy rice was cooked to perfection as well; the Tahdig far exceeded our expectations. The entrees came out shortly after the appetizer. My friend and I both ordered the Kabob Soltani, which comes with one skewer of Beef Kabob and one of Koobideh. Every component of the meal was perfect. The meat was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The Saffron Basmati came very close to what I've had on the West Coast. Even the salad veggies were perfectly fresh and crispy. We had an exceptional dining experience with excellent food quality and great service. Even though Kabob On The Cliff is quite a drive for both me and my friend, we'll definitely be back soon.“

The place may be crowded at times so make sure you show up with reservations and on time.If any improvement, I believe they may consider extending their menu on stew and drinks, and desert.“

“If you're going for food, just don't.The vibes are insanely good, the music, the decoration the lighting the view, the service it's all mesmerizing. Just not the food unfortunately, got the shish tawook, the kofta, hummus awarma, baba ganoush. the shish tawook had this strange plastic like taste that very compelling but it was still edible, the kofta was better but was really salty, the hummus and the baba ganoush were really good and they were served with pita, the pita wasn't fresh but hey overall it's a very nice place and I'd come again just not for food. shout out to the guys downstairs at the door, they're amazing.“
