“Might be the best cart food I've had in years. We showed up at opening, not realizing we did, and while we waited, the nice man gave us falafel on a stick for our three orders (complimentary gift because we arrived first). My image is the combo, but they stacked the fresh food up and I was surprised they even put falafel and fries inside! I was full for pretty much the whole day from the amount of food they gave us (I watched the strong trays barely close from the amount they put!). I'm sure not every experience is as generous and lucky as we are but it felt really good to start my day off with this amazing cart. Definitely coming back in the future.“

“On 09/05/2024, my family and I went for dinner, ordered gyuru lagman, classic lagman and dapanji and they immediately brought us baursaks as a compliment and they turned out to be fresh and very tasty, then they brought us our orders and we were very delighted with the taste of lagman because that we haven’t tried such a real Uyghur lagman in New York City for a long time. The establishment is very clean and this is one of the most important priorities! And we really liked that they brought it in disposable dishes, starting with glasses, because it is much more hygienic than using reusable dishes, because with reusable dishes you don’t know which person ate before you and how they washed him, but disposable dishes are the most hygienic dishes! Well done for coming up with this, may the Almighty give you success!“

“While the restaurant has closed they are operating as a food truck. Please check their Instagram to see their daily location. Lately they have been in bed stuy.This review is for my visit over the summer. We went on a Sunday and received the following: seafood mac n cheese; hot honey oxtail sliders; blueberry cornbread and the Cater 2 U which has salmon, shrimp and crab cakes. No complaints on the food, the portion size or the customer service. Everyone is always nice. I've only met the male owner during my visits and he is the best! Sad to see the restaurant go but happy to see that they are still making food. Definitely check them out when you can.“

For months I had been hearing about Food Street being the best Pakistani street food in town so I had to come check it out for myself all the way from Brooklyn,NY!Everything from the gappa chaat to the hangry beef burger to chicken paratha roll was just PERFECT. “Ordered on ubereats food came hot well packaged , ordered lamb gyro, chicken gyro and wedges, lamb gyro was not tasty, it was abundant with lamb chucks adequate amount of white sauce ( which also was not tasty), pita ( was soft and fresh), onions and cucumbers helped a bit, chicken gyro was way more flavorful would by that again and the wedges were good“

They are fully halal which is amazing and allows for everyone to enjoy along with the full range of a menu catering to everyone. “I can’t emphasize enough how much we absolutely love BIRRIA LES. Perfect tacos, perfect service, perfect vibes, all at a perfect price. We probably come here once a week, and the food is consistently delicious. The dumplings are juicy and flavorful- it’s my favorite thing on the menu. And it’s all halal! Wide variety of options too. If you’re in the city, it’s a must stop and have situation. Like, MUST. So slay. Also, we love Sumaita; staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. She’s like, Super Slay. They are also open late btw. “Sometimes when you accidentally get on the wrong train and get off the wrong stop, you'll come across a gem of a shop and think it was kismet. Such was the case for me at 9:30pm on a Tuesday evening, cold and hungry after my workout class. I had recognized The Munchies from Julian Mu's TikTok series, Late Night Bites, and so had hurriedly stepped inside to order some food for the ride home. Even though it was late on a weeknight, the small corner space was bustling, with a line almost to the door. But, the staff moved quickly and efficiently, and I received my order within 10-15 minutes. The menu is quite expansive and offers everything from classic halal cart platters to fish and chips. The portions are extremely generous, especially for the price too and I can definitely see why this is such a popular spot for late night eats. I ordered a lamb and rice platter ($10), which comes with two sides of your choice (I picked hummus and salad). While the white sauce was a little creamier and eggier than I was used to, I really enjoyed the lamb platter which was enough to feed me the next day too. They take Apple Pay too! Overall, worth a visit (or a Seamless order) for some late night munchies.“

“Located north of Radio city hall, there seems to be a new competitor coming up for Adel's famous halal. This place is run by Afghans and they are really warm and welcoming people to their food truck also the service is quick while the food is served hot and fresh.After reading some reviews here, I opted for a chicken chapli kebab platter. Chapli kebab is basically a ethnic Pashtun dish from the border region of Afghanistan-Pakistan. The minced chicken was good while adding the right amount of spices to give a succulent taste, for the first time, I had cumin rice and it tasted good and was a welcome change from the regular saffron rice available elsewhere. These people provided fries alongside salad and topped it with white sauce which had the right amount of thickness while their mint sauce was a welcome addition to this. I don't usually go for the spicy sauce as I'm not a big fan of it.Overall it's a great experience to try something for the first time apart from halal guys and adel's. The big advantage of the food is that it lacks food coloring like adel's and whatever prepared is done in the right way while also the wait time is very less compared to adel's and halal guys.“

“I had a delightful experience at Zaitun Halal on Parsons Blvd in Jamaica, Queens. The Chicken over rice was absolutely scrumptious—perfectly cooked with just the right blend of spices. The flavors were bold and the rice was fluffy and aromatic. Additionally, the meal came in very nice packaging which kept the food warm and was quite convenient. “Service and food was excellent! I got the combo over rice and it had a nice balance of flavors and textures. The meat had a nice spicy flavor that paired well with the creamy white sauce and rice. The vegetables had a nice crunch to them and helps balance out the soft textures of the dish. I would recommend this dish and get it again.“

“I really enjoyed it. I just got a mix gyro. Chicken was really good, so was the lamb, pita bread was fresh. Just wish they had green sauce. But the hot sauce and white sauce is good. I had the chicken Adana kabob and my family members had salmon lamb chops lanb Adana, which was all wonderful. THE LENTIL SOUP, one of the best I have had!! Great portions, about $20-$30 a person. The regular mash is good and the spicy mash is unique. The honey definitely makes it taste different than other burgers. “I visited De Tandoori Knight on a Saturday 4/6/24. I was dining alone. The customer service was excellent. The restaurant was small but very clean and organized. The prices were excellent and the portions were great. I ordered Chicken Korma with Basmati rice, regular Naan bread and a Mango Lassi. The chicken was very tender, the sauce was creamy, delicious and not spicy. The Naan was good. I loved the Lassi. I had leftovers. I will definitely be returning. I am Puerto Rican and grew up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Growing up here there were no Indian restaurants. So happy to see more Indian restaurants now. I've been eating Indian food for about 20 years. To my Latinos try Indian food you might just love it. Not all dishes are Spicy. Visit this restaurant you may just love it like I did.“
