“They have great food there but don’t go there hungry. You will be waiting forever for your food. We had many instances where we waited way too long for our food that we just decided not to go back. We stayed away for awhile and thought to give it another try tonight. Not only did we wait forever for our food, others got seated & served before us. I waived the manager down and she gives the excuse of the waffle maker being broken then the waitress says it was because they got our slips mixed up. They gave me antra salad to make up for it and my kid got sprinkles on his waffles. No discount on the bill. I loved going to this place but we will not be visiting Symposium again“

“Had dinner at The George last night for my wife's birthday. I had seen very satisfied customers posting reviews of their Sunday Prime Rib specials and wanted to try. I contacted Regan (the owner) about my son's food allergies (wheat, rye, barley, oats, shellfish, all nuts, and coconuts) prior to our visit. Regan was very prompt in responding to my inquiry and informed me that he can indeed have the prime rib, just without the gravy and the yorkshire pudding. Regan reserved a table for us and we went to the restaurant last night. Right when we got there, the waiter was very diligent in making sure the allergies were taken care of, and Regan came over and introduced himself to us. We didn't have any beers there as we're not big drinkers so I can't comment on that. The prime rib however, was amazing. The meat was so tender and it was perfect medium rare. My son immediately commented that it's better than The Keg's, and he loves the Keg prime rib. The yorkshire pudding was also very delicious, rised tall, tender and the perfect level of chewiness. My son ate all the vegetables on his plate on his own, that's all you need to know about how the vegetables were. The prime ribs were $39 each, I would say it's about a 12-14oz size, well worth the money. Needless to say we will be coming back for sure. My son has already asked if we can go for Mother's day. “Excellent service- server was friendly, attentive, funny, professional and timely. We've been living in the area for +25 years, and Locale remains one of our favourite restaurants for all occasions. The food has always been fresh and delicious. This time, our group tried the sirloin steak special, black cod and seafood pasta and a mix of appetizers, and as expected, excellent quality and flavourful! The steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare! Kudos to the bartender for the excellent cocktails! Will be returning, and spreading the good reviews!“

When asking about the server's reco, they mentioned their burger was tasty but knowing I was in a bit of a rush, suggested the Crunch Wrap Supreme with vegan queso and packed with veggies. “I reserved for a birthday party of 18. Marissa was our server and did an outstanding job managing 18 meals and drinks, not one complaint. We were there for 3 hours in total, 9 Bills came at the end of the evening with no mistakes. The food was outstanding, not 1 complaint from anyone, everything was perfect. “One of my favourite restaurants. We would travel from downtown Toronto to Restoran Malaysia just to eat here. We manage to go when it’s not the busiest time or day and it helps because we don’t have to wait for a table.Most of their food is good. My Go To is the Singaporean chicken rice (no photo). We also had the shrimp char kuay teow and the butter prawns with oats (not on menu but they will do it for you if you ask them, I’ve ordered it several times). Worth it. Ask for the price first, it’s a little pricey but the prawns are huge and the flavour is worth the price!They have a long list of drinks, juices. “A vast selection of burgers so it is difficult to choose, which isn’t a bad thing. The fries, curly fries, and onion rings are all great. I had “The Dip” burger which was really good, if I had to make a suggestion, it would be that next time they try to melt the cheese on the burger. They also have a lot of tasty dips as well. Loved the caper aioli and garlic aioli. Our server was really helpful and made great suggestions. Great place for a gourmet burger!“

“I had amazing Vegetarian Pho and Spring Rolls from Com Pho Asia, located at Mulock and Yonge in the Nature's Emporium Plaza. So flavourful. This is a family owned restaurant. The food is amazing each time we have either eaten in or taken out. Phavy, the owner, is very friendly. I highly recommend a visit. When they were open for indoor dining this place was packed every time we went. When I asked how things were going with takeout earlier today, Phavy stated it was a little slow. “We hired My Sweetie Pie to be the dessert at our wedding in place of a wedding cake. They were absolutely incredible! it was such a lovely alternative for our wedding (we're not huge cake people). Everybody loved the pies! With our order, we also got small to-go containers so our guests could take the leftovers and it was a huge hit! “Went here with a few friends expecting to find Black Bear Japanese Fusion, unfortunately, we found out when we got there that it's only a ghost kitchen offering take out inside Bo Tree! Bo Tree is plant based, with offerings like faux chicken and fish,with the option of eggs. I got the faux chicken katsu omurice and while I could tell it wasn't chicken, it wasn't bad. The omelette was cooked perfectly, the sauce was flavourful. My friends had the mushroom pasta and bowl but didn't have the same decent experience. The pasta cream sauce was like water, sloshing around on the plate, and was quite flavourless aside from the seaweed. My other friend who got the bowl said the faux salmon was quite wet and squishy. It was definitely an experience, and we could all eat a little more plant based, but I may stick to ordering the chicken katsu omurice from Black Bear for pickup.“
