The service was great, and the two ladies working during my visit were exceptionally friendly. I hope that the quality of service and generous portions will remain consistent in the future. “I love their food (excluding falafel) because the flavours and service never disappoint. My only critique is their falafel interior is always undercooked so I get that raw chickpeas flavour which is very off-putting. This is the only reason why I have not given this restaurant's food 5 stars.“

Hummous, bread, tabouleh, falafel, fattoush, stewed tomatoes, fried eggplant, chicken, beef, rice and salad. “I went to Ali Baba's for dinner and I ordered a Chicken Platter. The amount of food they gave especially the chicken was incredible. Everything tasted good and I was pleased when they reheated the potatoes on the grill for me. The store environment was clean and nice, (a typical shawarma restaurant) but the would made this particular spot great was the tissue boxes on each of the tables. This was great, especially compared to any other restaurants that will offer 2 small napkins that are almost transparent. Customer service was great, very friendly. I would go back again for sure.Vegetarian options: Falafel wrap or Falafel plate.“

“Tuba is a wonderful chef whose delicious food brought back warm memories of my trip to Turkey decades ago. Tuba came to our house last year to teach a group of friends and I how to make an array of classic Turkish dishes. It was a fun night with shared stories of food and other adventures. I highly recommend asking her to cater for you, or dive right in and ask her to come and show you how it’s done!“

“This is the best food you will ever have in your life. You have my word. Eating this food is like being lovingly cooked for by every Bubby and Zaidy in the city. I'm not exaggerating, the latkes will bring tears to your eyes because all you'll taste is love. The spreads are out of this world. The whitefish... it's like a hug from your mother. “I no longer live somewhere where I can get good shawarma/Mediterranean food, so when I come back to Ontario I always make a point to try and get some.I got a falafel wrap and chicken shawarma, and both tasted amazing. I was really hungry so maybe a bit biased, but I think it was the best I've ever had! The sauces they put on (must have been the special sauce plus some hot sauce) really took both wraps to the next level.“

“We came here in a big group and it was a great experience for us. The restaurant staff were very helpful and the food was amazing. We got the Fattoush salad and the Special Kebab (chicken with beef) and they were amazing. I recommend getting the kebab if you come, the salad was done in a way I've never seen before where it's inside a bread shell and you have to break it. Overall everyone enjoyed their food and no one had any complaints. I recommend giving this place a try if you're looking for a spot with good food and a cozy vibe.“
